you get to stage a Megaprank on a target of your choice.

Today, two teams of twins battle it out.

-Let's meet the Green Team.

-I'm Grace.

-I'm Fawn.

BOTH: And we are Mystic N' Magic.

-The cool thing about having a twin sister - you have a best friend for life.

-Fawn is adorable.

-She's hysterical.

-Yes!

-SQUEALS

-She loves me.

For our public prank, we want to surprise people by giving them magical powers. Yeah!

If we make it to the Megaprank, we are going to prank our friend Calixa because...

-BOTH: She pranks us a lot.

-She pranks us. She pranks her mum.

-She pranks her dad.

-We want to prank her to see what her reaction is.

Like, ugh! Like that.

Twintastic, you better take notes because you're about to get schooled.

Snap! Green Team is fired up.

Let's see if the Blue Team can cool them off.

-I'm Amber.

-And I'm Alyssa.

-BOTH: And we are Twintastic.

Having an identical twin sister is really cool

because you always have somebody by your side.

-My sister Amber always gets her way.

-My way or the highway.

For our public prank, we want people to think we have special powers.

Telekinetic powers.

The person we want to prank if we make it to the Megaprank is our grandmother.

She's very gullible and she can't really tell us apart sometimes.

Watch out Mystic N' Magic, we're coming for you!

We're twice the fun and double the trouble.

Is it me or is anyone else seeing double?

Anyway, to pull off their pranks, our twin teams

will need some help from these guys.

I'm Hassan Aziz, a multimedia artist.

My work includes large scale projections,

immersive domes, 3D mapping on buildings.

We even do interactive installations.

-Say what?

-We do cool stuff with projectors.

-Oh!

We're always trying to find ways to inspire people's imaginations,

with immersive multimedia, interactive experiences and,

obviously, it's super fun.

See what I mean?

Come on, pranksters!

If you need a multimedia superhero, mission accomplished. I'm your guy.

That's digital effects taken care of,

but to add some explosive fun, we're going to need the skills of these two pyrotechnical pals.

-And I'm Andy Antoine.

We do special effects and pyrotechnics.

We've done all kinds of effects from movies, television.

-Plays.

-Theatre.

-Music videos.

-Rock concerts.

-You name it.

We do special effects - sometimes called mechanical effects, sometimes called practical effects.

The real stuff in front of the camera. Things you can touch and feel.

Not that CG computer generated stuff. So that's us.

We can do pretty much anything.

Basically, we like to make things go boom.

-SNIFFS

-Do you smell that?

While Andy goes to get a fire extinguisher,

let's introduce today's location.

A bookshop cafe.

Mystic N' Magic, Twintastic.

We know your pranks but you don't know each others'.

Mystic N' Magic, what do you have for us?

We're going to make people think they've been mistaken for a famous magician who wrote a book.

We're going to take a picture of the person who walks in

and then we're going to play a video of a famous magician.

It's going to reveal the face of the person who walked in

and then we're going to ask him for an autograph on the book.

Making them think they've been mistaken for a famous magician.

And going to ask them to do a magic trick.

Get them to swing their hand up in the air.

When they do, the books are going to be flying out of the shelves

and garbage will be flying around too.

I don't think their idea will work because maybe they'll take a while to make the face on the person.

What if it doesn't print fast enough? What will they do?

Twintastic, are you guys nervous? Let's see what you have.

There'll be two twin actresses and somebody is going to walk in,

is going to take a seat and then we're going to come in.

We're going to ask, "Is that my book I see?"

Then we start fighting with tug-of-war and everything.

So we're going to like pretend with our minds we're passing it back

and it's going to break a vase all over the place.

We're going to be like "Oh! No, she did it."

-"No, she did it!"

-Yeah.

-And we're going to blame it on each other.

-Yeah.

-Solid plan.

-It's a little plain, I find.

There's not enough action.

Mystic N' Magic, you guys are up first. Let's get to pranking.

So it's a mystery magician versus telekinetic twins.

Only one team will go on to stage a Megaprank and only the Ranksters

will decide who presses the ejector button of doom.

Mystic N' Magic, take it away.

I'm a little nervous, but I'm really excited.

Like, I have confidence.

For Grace and Fawn's prank, I'm going to do all the digital effects.

Grace and Fawn came to my studio.

We worked together to make, like, an amazing video about this magician.

-BOTH: Abracadabra!

-Cool!

Towards the end of the video, it's going to be revealed that the target is the magician.

We got to keep the mask. We have it at home now.

It freaks Mum out, though.

The target is going to come right from here.

We're going to take a quick picture of the target and try and integrate

quickly the face of the target into the video.

-You see that mirror over there?

-That's a camera?

So, this is what I'll be doing every time a new target comes in.

I showed them how we can put that manipulated picture inside a video.

Wait, what? That's your face.

For Mystic N' Magic, what we've done is created magical bookcases with mechanical effects.

The first two are smaller bookcases that have pistons that move books.

The third bookcase, there's a piston in the back, pivots on hinges.

So it will lean forward, dump the contents of it and there we go.

This is a scuba tank. We use this to deliver air that's going to activate all our pistons.

That will actually push the books like a finger poking in and out.

-Sliding in and out.

-It's a very expensive mechanical finger.

-LAUGHS

-Clear? Clear?

I was just in my own little world

and then there's like a book that comes right out.

-Whoo!

-Whoops! I've got you good!

We're also going to throw in an exploding garbage can.

BOTH: Fire in the hole.

ANDY CHUCKLES

-I am feeling...

-BOTH: Confident.

And I'm feeling excited because it's time for the first public prank.

Our hidden cameras are rolling and our pranksters are in the control room, ready to direct the action.

-I think we can...

-Beat them.

-..beat them with our prank.

Mystic N' Magic presents Famous Authors.

People think they're coming to this bookshop cafe to meet a famous

-magician who's promoting a new book.

-Someone's just walked in.

Little do they know, they are the famous magician.

-Oh, my gosh! There's two.

-A couple. A couple. A couple.

-I'm Kendrick.

-You're not Sean.

-No, I'm not Sean.

-Oh. You're not the author.

-No.

-You look just like him.

-Really?

-Yeah.

-I'll take that as a compliment.

-Blows my mind.

-Really? I want to see him now.

Hassan took his pick, but now he's got a few seconds to put it into the video about the magician.

VIDEO: Masked magician SA Coleman has spent years pulling off

some of the most talked-about illusions ever devised.

With the release of the new book Mystic N' Magic,

the time has come to finally reveal who is behind the mask.

-LAUGHS

-It's almost uncanny!

-Let's go. Come on.

-We have to go.

BOTH: Can we have your autograph, please?

When we asked him to sign our autograph, they really got shocked.

It was a funny reaction.

-Here.

-Can you do that thing with your hand there?

Do the magic trick.

-Do it again!

-Wow! Erm....

-LOUD POP

-Oh! Whoa!

Wow! Do it again.

I think they were thinking, "Did I do that?"

They're thinking, "Am I crazy? Am I the magician? What am I?"

Who is behind the mask?

-It looks like you.

-Can you please do, do the magic stuff and everything.

One more time.

Getting really freaked out!

-Can you do a magic trick?

-Whoa!

See, you are the magician.

You went like this.

-I'm a huge fan. Please teach me.

-Just do this.

I'm going to try and put them back. No. It's not working.

OK, wow! That's awesome.

That guy looks exactly like me.

I feel relieved. I'm really, really confident.

Top job, Mystic N' Magic.

Now it's time for a little Twintastic power.

-Take it away, girls.

-I think we're going to win.

Twintastic were going to play on the old myth that twins have magic twin powers.

We're going to make things move on the table without anyone touching anything.

Just trickery. A lot of trickery in this one.

-Deep breath and go.

-Do you have it?

-Yeah, let's go.

-There you go!

-Can you send it back now with your twin powers?

Get it going, get it going and...

You're a lot stronger than me.

It's really cool how they make it look like we're actually pushing it.

Let's all get under the table and check this out.

We started the magic book effect build by building a really nice table,

bolted the motor assembly underneath the table.

It pushes the book?

-Yeah.

-And a magnet?

-Yeah.

So what we've done is put a pulley down there

-that's attached to our carriage here.

-So cool.

It causes the carriage to slide back and forth in the grove.

-You guys understand how it works?

-BOTH: Yes.

For Amber and Alyssa's prank, I'm going to be projecting energy field

to illustrate that there's a connection between the twins.

-Cool!

-Nice. You like it?

Whenever we put our hands to look like we're sending the book...

It's going to give us the effect of powers coming out of our hands.

You see, we call this a magic arm.

The challenge here is we need to project on a table.

So we're going have a mirror in front of the projector,

so we can shoot the video signal on the table without the target noticing.

-It's so cool.

-It's so pretty.

After they've shown us everything and how it's going to happen,

I feel like it's going to be really amazing.

It's time for the second public prank.

The hidden cameras are rolling and our two sets of identical twin sisters are in position.

I'm still really confident.

Twintastic presents Twintastic Power.

A beautiful sunny day but, inside our bookshop cafe, there's a pranking storm brewing.

-Somebody's coming.

-Have a seat.

People are coming in for a free coffee but we're fresh out

and now they'll get a mug full of prank instead.

-OK, let's get going now.

-OK, let's do this.

Hi.

So when somebody came in, we waited for them to sit down and then Megan and I

walked back into the room and all the people thought they were seeing double.

-We're twins.

-We're twins, also.

-Oh, my goodness!

We're baby-sitting them.

Then I said, "Is that my book I see?"

Then we start fighting with tug-of-war and everything.

Is that my book I see, Alyssa?

-Maybe.

-Can I please have it back?

Give me the book, Alyssa.

-Give me my book.

-What did I say, Amber?

-OK.

-I know.

-Not in public.

-Give me back my book.

-It's mine!

We loved how everybody reacted. It was really funny.

Give me back my book!

Wow! It moved by itself!

I think they were thinking of, like, how are they doing this?

And, like, do twins actually have special powers?

I loved doing the prank and hopefully we get to move on to the Megaprank, so we can do another one.

That will be up to the Ranksters to decide.

The magician one, I thought it was really cool.

It got a big reaction and it was really hilarious.

we still loved working with the Effectors.

Mystic N' Magic has KO'd the competition,

Now it's up to the Effectors to create a Megaprank

on a target of their choice.

-BOTH: Our Megaprank target is Calixa.

-And she's 12 years old.

Calixa deserves to be pranked because we always used to prank each other.

So we want to, like, have a laugh, and get her really good.

-Like, ha!

-BOTH: We got you!

Excellent. Calixa sounds perfect.

Now for the location - a country home.

Special Effectors, time to bring the house down.

Welcome back, Mystic N' Magic. How are you guys doing?

We're really excited to hear about the Megaprank.

-BOTH: So what have you got?

-Bam!

Were going to let Calixa think that the kid she's baby-sitting has cloned himself.

-That's cool.

-That's funny.

-His dad is like some super-smart, genius, inventor scientist dude.

-OK.

-And he makes all kinds of crazy science stuff.

So invention number one - the electromagnetic pulsator.

You press that little device and everything electric in that room sparks up.

So is there going to be magical dust like in the picture?

-No magical dust. Those are sparks.

-BOTH: OK!

Then, we're going to move outside and he's going to have the sonic boom generator.

Then we're going to make the swimming pool explode.

-Wow!

-For the final effect,

we're going to have a super futuristic organic printer.

We're going to create a digital effect to make it seem that Julian is being printed.

-OK.

-And when it's done, it's a clone.

-BOTH: Oh, wow!

-One, two, three...

-MANY: Mystic N' Magic!

-It's a good idea.

-She's going to get pranked well.

To make this prank possible, I started off in the kitchen

and we took them through all the electrical components

that we were going to spark up.

We did the TV, we did a toaster, we had a clock radio.

And then we have this other thing. I don't know what it was.

So we put sparks on it, too.

We spent quite few days at our shop blowing up swimming pools.

Put something in the water to make it go boom!

-Fire in the hole!

-BOTH: Boom!

On my end, it's really basically what's going on on the screens.

We filmed the kid as if he's in the scanner and we made it look

as if, right now, we're printing live tissue.

This is going to be the monitor where we're going to show the progress.

And you see there? She's going to see him being scanned.

The big reveal is done, the printing is done and he comes out.

That's cool.

-It's going to be an amazing Megaprank.

-BOTH: Yes!

Calling all prank fans, it's the moment you've been waiting for -

the Megaprank!

OK, so here we go.

The hidden cameras are rolling.

The pool has been primed and our cloning machine is warming up.

The pranksters are in the control room

and our identical twin actors are ready to cause chaos.

-Here comes Calixa now.

-She's there, that's her van.

Oh, my goodness, I'm so excited.

Calixa thinks she's coming to babysit a kid named Julian.

I kind of feel a little bit bad because it's her first time baby-sitting.

-So...

-Easy money, right? Wrong.

Julian's got his hands on his dad's top secret stash of hi-tech gizmos and can't wait to test them out.

Julian, my little boy, he can be a little sneaky sometimes.

I have a baby monitor there.

You just press the screen on the right.

You can see what he's up to in his room. Great, thank you so much...

Hi, I'm Julian. Are you the baby-sitter?

Oh, look! There's our little terror now.

-This is Calixa.

-You know what this thing is?

-Uh-oh!

-Check it out.

-Oh, wow.

-May I have the device, please?

Julian, you're not supposed to touch this, ever. We spoke about this.

I'm hungry. Can I have some pretzels?

-Ew. That's gross.

-Don't you prefer eating them with your hands?

-I love pretzels.

-While Julian is stuffing his face with pretzels,

his twin is getting into position inside the cloning machine.

Do you want to see what a sonic boom generator is?

-See what happens when I put it in my pool.

-It's going to explode!

-The pool. The pool.

-Did you see how high it went?

Everything that they do is incredible.

Something tells me his mum won't think that was so incredible.

Julian, really? Give me the device. What happened?

This is what I was talking about. I'm so sorry.

It's awkward for her.

No, no, don't touch. Please don't touch Daddy's machine.

You know what that thing is? That's a 3D printer but it's special.

-It prints organic material, living tissue.

-You mean, like, people?

I told you not to play with Daddy's devices, honey.

Uh-oh! Uh-oh! Almost time.

I'm going to go up and talk to him, OK?

BOTH: This is getting good.

Are there lights or anything there?

-Yeah.

His father's scanner. It's super hi-tech.

I don't know how to stop it, I don't know...

-What's going on?

-Julian!

Her expression on her face was like, "Oh"...

-Like she didn't know what to do.

-Wait.

-SCREAMS

-Mom, what happened?

-Who are you?

-I'm Julian.

-No, I'm Julian.

-OK, cloned. I don't know...

I don't know what to do.

I'm going to call your father and figure out what to do.
