-Probably my Dad. When I was growing

-up, he managed Blaenrhondda Town.

-He loved the game and wanted

-to be involved as much as he could.

-He managed the team and my Saturdays

-were spent at Blaenrhondda Park.

-I enjoyed playing with all the boys

-in the school environment.

-Luckily, I had a headmaster at

-Dunraven Primary who didn't mind...

-..and he allowed me to play

-in the boys' five-a-side team...

-..and the boys' competitions.

-I was treated as a player.

-She joined Arsenal in 2000 and

-played for the club for 13 years.

-In 2007, she was part of the

-legendary quadruple-winning team.

-You look back,

-it's something I'm really proud of.

-The team we had

-for that four, five years...

-..would have competed

-with anybody in the world.

-We had a gift that when we came to

-finals, the majority of them we won.

-Was becoming a manager

-always a part of your plans?

-No. I'm a qualified physio.

-I always thought I'd go into

-that route to stay in the game.

-I'm enjoying every part of it

-but there's lot of different parts.

-It's a very different role...

-..to anything people assume

-within the men's game.

-When you think

-of a senior team manager role...

-..compared to what I do

-it's a very different one.

-It's about developing

-young players...

-..not just standing

-on the side of the pitch.

-Will the great start

-to the qualifiers end tonight?

-We have targets still to hit,

-we haven't achieved anything.

-that's nice to look back on.

-We're only halfway

-through a campaign.

-We're pushing to change things

-We've shown that we can compete

-with nations ranked above us.

-We've got to continue it.

-If we manage to keep everybody fit,

-For us, as a group,

-we acknowledge that...

-..we have to overcome

-certain hurdles because of it.

-It makes it nice when people

-want to appreciate what we do.

-The squad we have right now and the

-younger generation coming through...

-..are working as hard as any player

-in the world right now.

-They want to be as good

-as those top players.

-I don't see

-why there can't be another myself...

-..or another Jess Fishlock...

-..or another top level player

-coming through our ranks.

-We provide a training environment

-that gets them to the top level.

-They have to understand

-how much commitment...

-..they have to put in

-to reach that level.

-There are so many opportunities now

-for young players within Wales.

-It's great to be a part of that.

-You were in the same team as her.

-What is she like?

-She's a tough character. She likes

-winning. She's doing a good job.

-Jayne Ludlow has announced

-her squad for the Cyprus Cup.

-These are preparation games for the

-next World Cup qualifying matches.

-They haven't lost,

-or conceded a goal...

-..but they haven't

-played England yet either.

-That's quite an achievement so far.

-They have the momentum to take

-it on against England.

-full-time players?

-All the English players

-will be full-time.

-They have a huge amount of

-preparation time.

-You have to appreciate

-how good they are.
