from that very cheeky captain.

Playing today, we've got Josiah.

Josiah's seven, and loves basketball.

Here's hoping for a slam dunk today.

His Swashbuckle name is Dolphin Josiah.

Next, it's Jonas.

Jonas is six, and enjoys street dancing,

so he's sure to be nimble-footed.

His Swashbuckle name is Shipmate Jonas.

Meet Freya. Freya is seven and likes maths.

Let's hope that adds up to a win.

Her Swashbuckle name is Fool's Gold Freya.

Finally, it's Tenai.

Tenai is six and loves football.

Maybe he'll score big against those pirates.

You daring Swashbucklers need to work as a team

as you take part in different pirate games.

Every time you win a game,

Captain Sinker will give you a jewel for your treasure chest.

Win all five jewels and one of the naughty pirates

will walk the plank into the ship's mess!

When you win back my jewels from naughty Captain Sinker,

we'll pop them in here to keep them safe.

You Squash-jugglers aren't daring enough to win my games.

Oh, really, Sinker? I think we are ready.

Bring it on, Squawk! What's the first game?

The first game is Coconutty Raft.

The aim of the game is to get six coconuts into the barrel.

All you have to do is use your raft to collect the coconuts

and then bull's-eye them into the barrel. But be careful!

Cook and Line will be naughty and try to stop you.

CHEERING

And here is the barrel where you need to collect

six of the soft coconuts

which are over the other side of the lagoon,

under the palm tree. You have until the octopus

reaches across the screen and closes the treasure chest to play the game.

Josiah and Freya, you're going first. Are we ready to play?

Arrr!

Then Swashbucklers away!

That's it. A big pull.

They're very cheeky, throwing those beach balls.

That's it. Bring over two coconuts each. Well done.

Knock a coconut off!

Robert the Robot stopped Cook and Line with a life ring,

and with six coconuts in the barrel, Gem, you win!

Oh, wow, here comes the red one.

There we go, Tenai. Will you pop it in the chest?

Hey, Captain Sinker, four more of those jewels

and one of you naughty pirates will be walking the plank

-into the ship's mess!

-Ewww!

Maybe, Gem, maybe. Now, you two,

have you done my little list of jobs yet?

-Yes, we have.

-Good.

So you've started coming up with games for Gem's party?

Yes, I have.

No, I haven't.

Oh! What about pass the...

Whoever it lands on when the music stops

has to throw it into the ship's mess.

Oh, dear. I don't think we'll be playing that game!

Keep thinking, Cook and Line.

I have an idea for a gift for everyone

to take home in their pirate party bags.

Home-made treasure and a treasure chest.

I've asked Nina and Mr Bloom to make them.

OK, Mr Bloom, you make the treasure chest, I'll make the jewels.

You're on. You'll need some egg cartons.

-Some scissors and card.

-Glue.

-Glitter.

-Paint.

-And a black pen.

OK. First, ask a grown-up to help you

very carefully cut around these large cardboard cones

that are poking out the middle of the egg box here.

And this is going to make a jewel.

Hey, and I'll tell you what, you pass me the egg carton.

-Oh, yes.

-Yes. And I'm going to need some paint as well.

-Here you go. Then I'll start making the treasure chest.

-Superb.

What we're going to do with our little cone is

we're going to dip it into some glue

and then stick it on to this piece of card.

And we're going to leave it to dry.

When it's dry, we'll cut around the top of the cone,

and look at that.

We have a little lid,

and now what we're going to do is cut the bottom off.

Now we're going to dunk it into the glue again,

and stick it on to another piece of card.

When it's dry, cut around the bottom, and there you have it.

Your cardboard jewel, and you can decorate them any way you like.

You can use tinfoil for a shiny, silver jewel.

I'm going to decorate this one by slopping on lots of PVA glue.

Now that's done, here comes the cool bit!

-We're going to roll it in lots and lots of glitter!

-Very good.

How are you getting on with the treasure chest?

Well, not bad, Nina. I've painted all the wood brown,

and then inside, we've got gold. I've been using my gold paint.

-Also, for the hinges, and for the lock as well.

-Superb!

If you want, you can use a black pen

to put detail on the wood, make it look woody.

Now for another game where Gem and the swashbucklers

could win a jewel for their treasure chest.

But what game is it, Squawk?

The second game is Tumbly Barrel.

The aim of this game is to make a picture

that matches what the pirate is wearing.

All you have to do is run through the giant barrel,

find the dressing-up bits and bring them back to make a picture.

But be careful! Cook and Line will be trying to make you tumble.

CHEERING

And here is Line, wearing the six items you need to collect.

So, you're looking for:

The black hat with the orange hair,

the black and red stripy eye patch,

the orange beard,

the anchor earrings,

a red and white stripy T-shirt,

and a monkey.

MONKEY SCREECHES

You can find all these things through the tumbly barrel

in the crates on the other side.

Do look out, because Cook is spinning the barrel

and may try to put you off.

Tenai, you're going first, so which piece will you go for?

Tenai tumbled but made it through with the monkey.

Freya was nearly flummoxed by those fish. Then Mr Bloom bucketed Cook.

Here comes the purple one. Wow, look at that.

All this winning is hungry work which reminds me -

Robert is helping Cook make some food for our pirate party.

Now, sir, in honour of what we're about to do, I thought

-I would get with the programme.

-Very snazzy.

What sort of ingredients were you hoping to use

for your culinary masterpiece?

-A bucket of slop.

-What?

-A bucket of slop.

-May I?

TAKE A LONG SNIFF

It's quite potent, isn't it?

Sir, might I suggest we make something that's a little less...

-sloppy for Gem's party?

-Like what?

It's what I like to call a Swashbuckle Pirate Map Wrap.

What you'll need is some salad leaves, a tortilla,

some grated cheese, some sliced green and red peppers,

some sweetcorn, some black olives, and guacamole.

Where do we start?

-Have you washed your hands?

-Of course.

-All righty.

So, sir, I want you to take these salad leaves

-and pop them around the sides in a garnishing effect.

-Garnishing.

Very good. Very good, sir.

Now we take your tortilla and you place it on there.

And that is our map. Perfect!

Now, sir, we want to put an island in the middle of the map.

And an island has lots of sand.

And sand is the same colour as...?

-Slop!

-Again with the slop. Not slop, sir. Cheese! Cheese, sir.

You need to take the cheese and make an island shape in the middle.

Oh, that's perfect, sir, that's lovely.

So, sir, what do we always have on islands?

We have palm trees, sir.

So if you take the green pepper there

and make the shape of a palm tree.

That's right. Oh, that's lovely.

Now, sir, a treasure map always shows us where to find treasure.

So if you take the sweetcorn kernels and pile them up,

it will look like gold.

There we are, sir.

But now we need a path to find the treasure,

so use the olives to make a path, sir. Excellent. There we go.

And now the final piece, sir, just take two pieces of red pepper

and put them in an X on top,

for X marks the spot for the treasure.

And there you have it, sir.

One delicious Swashbuckle Pirate Map Wrap.

-Why is it called a wrap?

-You see, sir, you wrap it up to eat it!

And it's even tastier,

sir, with some of this guacamole, which could look like...?

-Slop!

-That's right, sir, slop.

-I hope Gem likes it.

-while you make some more.

We've cut out fish shapes from newspaper and we've got to get them

from one side of the table to the other without touching them.

Well, as it happens, Captain, yes, we do. Pin The Tail On The Whale.

-That's the whale. And this is the tail.

-So, what do I have to do?

-It's very simple. We blindfold you.

Watch out, Captain.

And then we spin you around a couple of times.

-And then you have to...

(There's a clue in the name.)

We were just testing the party... GAMES!

I've done it! Oh, what are you doing here?

Gem asked us to see how you are getting on with the games.

-There's obviously something wrong with this game.

-I don't know.

-It makes me feel quite mermaidy.

-We have got one more game, Captain.

A pinata? Hey, I love these. They're great.

-A pinata!

We hang it from the ceiling, then someone hits it with a stick

until it breaks, and then all kind of surprises come spilling out.

Well, that sounds like a party game. Stand back, everyone.

I'm going to test this.

Everybody knows that playing games is much more fun than watching them.

So what sort of surprises are going to come spilling out?

Is that lots of sweets for us to eat, or cake?

No, I couldn't find any sweets.

So I just filled it with a little-bitty surprise.

-It's slop, isn't it?

-Yes, it is.

Well, this is going to be the best pirate party ever!

OK, Swashbucklers, you've won back two of my jewels.

So we need to find three more in the Shipwreck Rummage.

But to make sure we're ready,

The aim of the game is to collect the rest of Gem's jewels

that have been hidden around the shipwreck.

Use the map because X marks the spot where

each of the jewels can be found. But be careful -

Cook, Line, and Captain Sinker have hidden the jewels well

and they must all be in the chest before the time runs out.

Swashbucklers, we need to find three more jewels,

so I'll show you where they're hiding on this map.

Up on the top deck,

the green jewel is hiding in one of the birds' nests.

Then, on the middle deck, the blue jewel is in the pool of pearls.

And on the lower deck,

the white one is hiding in one of the three hammocks.

OK, Tenai and Freya, you'll go first for me.

-Which colour will you go for?

-Blue.

-In the pool of pearls?

-OK. Are we ready to play?

-Arrr-harrr!

Swashbucklers away!

It's Tenai and Freya going for the blue jewel.

Topsy, Tim, and Robert are cheering them on.

Rats! No! Naughty Line is pouring those rats and mice.

But they're into the pool. Where's that jewel?

Rummage, Swashbucklers, rummage!

-COOK:

-Have you got it? Oh, no, you haven't got it.

-SQUAWK:

-Tenai's grabbed the blue jewel! Cook can't believe it.

OK, Jonas and Josiah, they've got the blue one,

so which one do you want to go for next?

-The green one.

-Right at the top? OK.

-COOK:

-Come back with that jewel!

Wait a minute. Hang on. Ready? And off you go.

Good work! Yes!

Good work, well done.

-SQUAWK:

-The boys are off and running,

aiming for the top deck. And the green.

Cook's flinging fish!

Into the tunnel they go. Josiah's reaching for that jewel.

He's got it!

He's got it, brilliant.

OK, Tenai and Freya, they've got the green one,

so I need you to get the white one down in the hammock, OK?

As soon as they come back, wait a minute. Ready? Off you go!

-Brilliant, well done.

-One more jewel to get.

It's the white, and it's somewhere in those hammocks.

Maybe in this one?

It might be in here.

Oh, where's that white jewel?

Tenai's got it! Yes!

Yes! In the chest!

That was fantastic! Well done, Swashbucklers, you were brilliant.

Squawk, you've got the bird's eye view, over to you.

It was pretty tough in the pearl pool, but Tenai bagged the blue.

Josiah climbed up to the nest and grabbed the green.

It was hard work in the hammocks, but they left with the white.

Five jewels in the chest! Swashbucklers win!
