Thomas is five years old and plays tennis.

I expect he'll be ace at winning Gem's jewels.

His Swashbuckle name is Terrible Thomas.

-Finally, we've got Matilda.

Matilda is six, and is a big fan of reading.

Hopefully she'll have an exciting story to tell after today.

as you take part in different pirate games!

Every time you win a game,

Captain Sinker will give you a jewel for your treasure chest!

Win ALL five jewels,

and one of the naughty pirates will walk the plank into the ship's mess!

When you win back my jewels, we'll keep them in here

to keep them safe from Captain Sinker.

You'll never get your hands on my treasure.

The first game is very tricky indeed.

You splosh-mucklers don't have the stomach for it.

-ALL:

It's Swashbucklers, Sinker -

and we DO have the stomach for it, so bring it on!

The first game is...

The aim of the game is to make the octopus jigsaw.

All you have to do is walk along the plank

to collect the jigsaw pieces -

but be careful, Cook and Line

will stop you from crossing, and hide the pieces too!

CHEERING

Here's the picture of the octopus we need to build.

There are eight pieces altogether,

but I've managed to sneak two over to start you off.

So, the other six are way over there the other side

by Cook and Line - so watch out for them, they will try to put you off.

If you fall in, you have to go back to the side you were coming from.

You have as long as it takes for the octopus

to reach out across the screen and close the treasure chest.

OK, so Thomas and Joshua - are you going first for me?

Great! Are we ready to play?

-ALL:

Naughty Cook had Joshua jumping for a jigsaw piece.

And Thomas was on tiptoes -

cheeky Cook.

Smiley Matilda tried to get the same piece.

But it was Joshua who held on,

gave it a tug, and brought it back for the team.

The Swashbucklers finished the jigsaw,

so they win the first jewel.

-Yes! Brilliant work, Swashbucklers.

You have won our first jewel - so,

Captain Sinker, you know the rule...

-ALL:

-Send down a jewel!

Oh, wow. Look, it's the green one.

There you go. Pop it in the chest for me.

and then one of the naughty pirates

will have to walk the plank into that smelly ship's mess.

Oh... Look at all this slop that needs emptying.

How am I supposed to concentrate

on counting my beautiful jewels

with this horrible smell?

But there's so much here,

it'll take weeks to empty this out!

Well, we could get the mermaid to sing her song to Sinker

and boss HER around for a bit.

We need to find a mermaid - and we'd never have to work again!

Come on, pirates, we want to play another game

to try and win another jewel. Squawk, what is it?

The aim of this game is to make a picture

that matches what the pirate is wearing.

All you have to do is run through the giant barrel,

find the dressing up bits, and bring them back to make your picture -

but be careful, Cook or Line will be trying to make you tumble.

-ALL:

-Yay!

And here is Cook wearing the six items you need to find -

-an explorer hat...

-Mm-hm.

-..some pineapple sunglasses...

-Ooh!

-..an orange beard...

-Grr!

-..an anchor earring...

-Mm-hm!

Those six items are through the tumbly barrel

the other side in those crates -

but look out, Line is spinning the tumbly barrel

which probably will make you tumble.

The aim of the game is to collect the rest of Gem's jewels,

that have been hidden around the shipwreck.

Use the map, because X marks the spot

where each of the jewels can be found.

But be careful - Cook, Line and Captain Sinker

have hidden the jewels well,

and they must ALL be in the chest before the time runs out!

CHEERING

So, we need to find three jewels now.

Let me show you where they're hiding.

On the top deck, we have the red jewel in one of

Captain Sinker's treasure chests.

Then, on the middle deck, the blue jewel is in the pool of pearls.

And on the lower deck, the white jewel is over in the rope store.

Now, boys, which colour are you going for?

-BOTH:

-Red!

-Right at the top?

All righty, then. Are we ready to play?

-ALL:

-Yo-ho!

-Then Swashbucklers, away!

-BELL RINGS

They're off.

It's a three-jewel rummage, and Joshua and Aidan are climbing fast.

That's it, boys, well done.

Line's emptying a basket,

but it's not stopping the Swashbucklers running for the red.

Aidan's on the top deck and the fish are flying.

He's got the red jewel.

Well done, lads!

They've got it. Where are you guys going next?

-BOTH:

OK, into the pool of pearls, all right?

So go through the middle into the cannonballs. Off you go!

Well done. Great work, guys.

Now for the second jewel,

and Matilda and Thomas are on their way to the pool of pearls.

Ha-ha! Barge your way past those beach balls.

Thomas is straight into the pool, and Cook's covering him.

Matilda's in there too now.

-COOK:

-I can see it, I can see it.

He's got it!

Thomas has bagged the blue!

They've got the blue one,

so boys, you have to go... Wait a minute!

You need to go for the white one in the rope store.

Go, go, go!

And then the blue one in there. Brilliant, well done.

The last jewel to find now, and they're already in the rope store.

Oh, they've got it! That was quick.

Get it back to that chest before the time runs out.

And into the chest.

Into the treasure chest. Yay!

Super-speedy, Swashbucklers.

Joshua and Aidan went straight to the top deck to grab the red jewel.

There was a great dip in the pool of pearls to find the blue -

then a rapid rummage in the rope store.

The boys found the white.
