And here's big sister Zoe. She looks like trouble to me.

And this must be a teenager playing video games.

What dreadful caterwauling is this?!

It's Lizzie.

Well, they seem perfect.

Who are you?!

Good question, Sian.

Some call me the Spring Chicken.

Others call me Gigantuapantagrul The Dastardly.

But you can call me The Dare Devil.

I'm here to offer you the chance to win a lovely prize.

All you must do is complete a few harmless,

devilish dares.

I suppose you're wondering how it all works?

There are three devilish dares and three Golden Doubloons to be won.

Sian and Zoe will decide which grownupling does which dare.

Dare Devil, Dare Devil, we dare...

I will give them one Doubloon to get them started.

Should someone be too scared to carry out a dare,

then they can exchange it to buy their way out.

But someone must always take their place.

For every dare lost, Sian and Zoe will have less time

when they return to my castle,

making it harder to open the Door of Destiny

that leads to the final prize.

So, Sian and Zoe, are you interested?

This ancient scroll holds the clue to what the first dare might be.

Right, let's get a move on. I want to be home in time for Tracy Beaker.

-Well, family, here we are. What do you think?

Yes, an uninspiring piece of wasteland off the A104 it may be.

But it's what's over here that I'm interested in.

That's right. The Lee Valley Lions.

Not the zoo animal, no.

The ice hockey team,

and it's they who have inspired our first dare, Lizzie.

A dare I like to call

Tough Puck.

Well, darelings, in the middle of the ice over there will be

20 red balloons suspended in a particularly prickly

ice hockey goal. To pass this dare,

I will need at least half of these balloons left intact.

And I'm going to throw in an added twist.

In the centre of the goal will be a black balloon.

If that bursts, then it's immediately game over!

So, all you must do, Lizzie, is to protect these balloons

-from being burst. Sounds easy, doesn't it?

-No.

-No?

Well, let me introduce you to the delightful fellows

who'll be attempting to burst them.

Enter the ice!

Uh-uh.

THEY GIGGLE

Remember, Lizzie, you can play the Golden Doubloon

if you do not wish to do the dare. Are you willing to play?

-That's the spirit! Then let's get you ready!

Lizzie is dressed ready for action,

but the nerves are really starting to set in.

With rock-hard pucks being pelted at her by cold-hearted

ice hockey players, protecting the balloons is going to be tough.

Really tough.

If she loses this dare, then she will not get the Golden Doubloon

for her team, and the chances of them winning the prize

get a whole lot harder.

-Are you ready?

Go!

-And they're off!

-Come on, guys!

This guy means business.

He shoots. Back of the net.

But no balloons burst.

Oooh! Nice save!

THEY SHOUT ENCOURAGEMENT

Lizzie's doing a fantastic job of protecting those balloons.

Get your stick up! That's it! Stop them!

I think she may consider a professional career.

Ooh! Right in their face!

The pucks are hitting Lizzie hard but she is not backing down.

Oof! This is hard work!

Remember, if that black balloon bursts,

it's automatically game over.

Don't let them get the balloon!

The pucks are coming thick and fast

but Lizzie only has seconds left to endure.

Well, that is clearly well over the half required to pass the dare,

and that means you've succeeded!

Well, reluctantly, I must give you your Golden Doubloon.

The dare was just traumatising. I just could not believe it!

But at the same time, it was really enjoyable. I felt like I did well.

I think Lizzie did really well

because even though she was quite nervous at the beginning,

she managed to pull through and get us another Golden Doubloon

so I'm really proud of her.

They now have...

two Doubloons!

Right, now that's over, it's time to go home, eh?

Wrong. We've got two more of these bad boys to go.

But what will dare number two hold?

Time to consult the Scroll of Secrets.

The London Dungeon! Of course.

And it's this place that has inspired our next devilish dare.

-Mm-hm!

I know what you're thinking. You think I'm going to make you eat

-something horrid, don't you?

-Yeah.

It couldn't be further from the truth.

You're simply going to enjoy a delicious bowl of tomato soup

without spilling any on your lovely clean shirt and tie.

If you can do that, then you win your team a Golden Doubloon.

Oh, there may be an extra little twist.

When dining in the London Dungeon it's customary to dine blindfold.

With the blindfold on,

the mum has no clue what my devilish antics will entail.

And not knowing what's coming will make my distractions

much, much worse!

And, remember, spill the soup, lose the dare

and lose the Golden Doubloon that will give her team time

in the final challenge.

-Don't spill any, OK?

-I know.

Whoo!

The mum has nerves of steel. Still no spillages.

Time for me to up my game.

She's spilled some soup but did it go on the shirt?

Ooh, concentrate on that soup!

A finger on the face. That's sure to creep her out!

on her nice white shirt, she has failed the dare.

I remember when everybody got plague and then the place burned down.

Who would ever have thought it'd become a tourist attraction!

And they're all eagerly awaiting the unveiling of the next statue.

The statue of the dad.

That's right! It's dare number three, a dare I like to call

Statue Of Inability.

In one of the most popular tourist destinations in London,

little does the dad know but he will soon be exposed

to some extreme embarrassment.

Oh, here comes the dad!

THEY ALL LAUGH

-Look at him, walking over so manly as well, like,

-"Yeah, I'm cool. I'm down with it!"

-Oh, my God!

-Oh, you look lovely!

-Welcome, the dad!

Now, the dad, let's see your steady hand.

Look at that! Cool as a cucumber.

Well, I've got a lovely treat for you, the dad.

You are going to impress passers-by with your ability to become

a human statue. To pass this dare you must successfully adopt

and hold three poses for 30 seconds at a time,

each one more difficult than the last.

If you move, then it's a hi-ho fail for you, my friend.

All right, Sian, time for the first position.

How embarrassing, the dad. He's the silliest statue in London!

Persistent itch developing in his left thigh. But not a movement.

Woo-hoo! It's hard to keep still with all these tourists watching,

isn't it!

Give it as a nice stretch! It's just a stretch.

The dad held the first two poses with the greatest of ease.

But things are about to get a whole lot harder.

All right, Dad. If you achieve this one, then you've passed the dare

and won a Golden Doubloon. It's time for position number three! Go!

When I first saw my dad I felt really embarrassed

cos people were laughing and coming to see.

But he did really well.

As the positions changed, they got a lot harder than they were before,

so I was really worried that he wouldn't be able to hold them.

But he kept his balance, so I was really, really happy about that.

Chambers Of Bravery 2.0!

There is only one way out of my dungeon -

through the Door of Destiny - beyond which lies the prize.

But the door is locked

and will only open when it hears the correct devilish word.

Sian and Zoe must take on my three Chambers of Bravery

to find the clues that will help reveal the word to open the door.

Each Doubloon will buy you 15 second of extra time.

That's on top of the one minute I've so kindly allotted you.

Now, if at any point you don't want to do a chamber or it all becomes

a bit too much, you can get out of it by shouting "Stop the dare"!

Then one of your team-mates can take your place,

but you will lose ten precious seconds from the clock.

The first scroll is hidden within my chamber full of fearsome creatures.

There's no time to waste, so you must remain brave.

the other two chambers.

Now it's time for us to proceed to our next chamber.

There are three boxes of grossness to open.

Unlock the first box to gain the key to the second

and then work your way to that precious scroll.

Just remember to keep your mouth shut!

with the Dare Devil's old slop?

so only 28 seconds remain for my final chamber, The Dome of Doom.

The final scroll is locked in a chest in The Dome of Doom.

To find the key, you must match the feathers to the picture.

But it's not so easy when they're guarded by terrifying beasts.

Here we are at the Dome of Doom! Let's see what's inside.
