It's amazing.

We are about to surprise one lucky boy here in Liverpool

and help him build his dream den.

Mm...

I'm guessing it's a...a Bollywood den.

What gave that away? Let's meet today's Dengineer.

Today's Dengineer is 11-year-old Aron from Liverpool.

I need help from the Dengineers because I love everything Bollywood

and I want to become a Bollywood star one day.

BOLLYWOOD MUSIC

Aron and his family love to watch Bollywood movies.

Bollywood movies are made in India

and are always full of singing and dancing -

two things Aron has a great passion for.

Aron had a fascination with Bollywood films

from such a young age.

He was just infatuated with all the bling and the styles and the songs,

and all the dance that goes with it.

Dancing, for Aron, began at a very early age.

Two and a half years old, he'd be dancing, he'd be moving around,

he'd love the music.

Aron is the apple of his brothers' and sisters' eye.

He gets on their nerves a lot of the times.

He's always in the way, he's always awkward.

So when they've got something to do, he'll turn up like a bad penny.

When I'm asleep, he just, like, comes in my room,

starts singing and screaming in my ear.

Mimi! Mimi!

-I want to show you a dance move!

-Get off. Go away.

He is the alarm clock of the house.

Unfortunately for Aron, he's the youngest of four siblings

and his bedroom doubles up as his mum's office.

Aron shares a space with my books. He has nowhere.

It's basically a place for him to sleep.

There's a lot of work to be done here, sweetheart.

Mum, I was practising!

So the important thing, he needs somewhere to sing and dance

and express himself.

Please, Dengineers, I really need your help.

Don't you worry, Aron, our help is exactly what you're going to get.

You just don't know it yet.

Aron is being taken to his favourite coffee shop,

which the Dengineers team have rigged with secret hidden cameras.

The coffee shop is too small for the whole Dengineers team,

so we're hiding round the corner.

Aron's going to be arriving any minute now.

Will you just stop that a minute?

Cos you're going to give the game away.

Go and have a look out.

Aron's parents are in on the act.

Dad Sadar has brought Aron along for the big surprise.

He has no idea that we are hiding just metres away.

Aron is in the coffee shop,

but we need him to come out, I think,

so I reckon we're going to need a distraction to get him out.

Yeah, I think that might be the reason

why we've got these guys and their equipment.

Shall we send yous up there?

Go on, up you go. Loads of noise.

-We need to get him out the shop.

My name is Lauren. This is Mark.

We are from CBBC's The Dengineers.

We are here to pick you up

to take you to build your very own Bollywood dream den.

-How does that sound?

-Awesome.

-Yes!

-You want it to be amazing, right?

-Yeah.

Come on then, let's get a move on. Are you guys coming?

When I came out and I saw the dancers and I saw Mark and Lauren

I was in a state of shock.

I think he's over the moon.

There's no words to explain how excited he is.

I feel unbelievable.

Yes!

My den's going to be awesome.

Our first port of call is the Dengineers mobile HQ,

which has some mega-cool technology

that's going to get this den off the ground.

So, Aron, welcome to The Dengineers mobile HQ.

-This is pretty exciting, isn't it?

-Yeah.

This is where you're going to get the opportunity to download

all of the ideas in your head onto this giant screen

and we can work out how to create your den.

-OK.

-Are you ready?

-Yeah.

-Let's do it.

-So, what will we start with?

-He's straight in there.

-Oh, colours.

I'll have, like, a maroon.

You want maroons in there, yeah?

OK, let's stick this up here for your colour chart.

-Nice.

-Any other colours?

-Yes.

Um...gold.

Classic Bollywood colours.

Is there any sort of particular way you want it to look?

I want it to look like a traditional kind of theme.

So that could be like the kind of opening kind of part.

-Oh, nice.

-OK, yeah, nice.

I'd have the kind of throne.

-Look at Aron's throne!

-Yes!

And I'll bet we're not allowed to sit in the throne, are we?

-Come on. Can we have a sit?

-Yes, you can.

-Oh, yes!

What is it about the Bollywood movies that you really like?

Well, the kind of setting, and what it's about, the storyline.

-That's interesting.

-Yeah.

So, do you like performing these dances as well?

-Cos you're a big dancer.

-Yeah.

So is that important, maybe, to have somewhere you can dance?

Yeah, like a stage or something.

-OK. So have we got anything in there?

-Like this?

-Yes.

-The red curtains.

-And it goes as well cos it's red.

-Yeah, it totally fits the theme, doesn't it?

-Yeah.

Aron, this looks unbelievable. Are you happy with it, though?

-I'm very happy.

-Are you sure?

-I'm sure as ever.

-So are you ready?

Aron has decided on a den full of traditional Bollywood colours,

a performance space with a throne,

and some serious bling fit for a king.

And we've got the perfect designer to make this den a masterpiece.

Meet Olga.

She's a specialist in creating mega-cool dens

and can make the smallest of spaces look totally awesome.

Olga, we've got this space here in Aron's garden.

Talk to me. Are you going to produce some Dengineers magic?

Yes, I will.

So, Aron, you gave me so many ideas. It's really inspiring.

The main thing is the Bollywood theme.

So what I'm thinking, the most traditional, iconic thing is...

-the Taj Mahal.

-Yeah.

The Taj Mahal is one of the most famous buildings in India.

Having taken 20 years to build,

the iconic landmark is famous for its domes and white marble walls.

So, if we're going to build your den inspired by the Taj Mahal...

However, it's going to be a bit more colourful,

-cos you wanted loads of colours.

-Yeah.

-How does that sound?

-Awesome.

So that's the outside. What about the inside?

Right, so, inside it needs to be as glamorous as the outside, right?

-Yeah.

-So what we want is loads of colour, loads of drapes,

loads of cushions.

-You wanted a throne, right?

-Yeah.

So we're going to get you a throne as well -

and your own stage.

So you could either perform on the stage,

or you can just sit there and enjoy the view of the garden.

-What do you reckon? Does it sound good?

-It sounds awesome.

-Are you excited?

-Yes.

-Shall we get this show on the road?

-Let's go.

-Let's start building this den.

Olga has designed a Taj Mahal-inspired den,

complete with its own unique set of domes and colourful exterior.

On the inside, the centrepiece will be a huge throne

surrounded by drapes and fabrics that will fill the room with colour.

If the Dengineers have any chance of getting this done on time

then we need to get our hands dirty

and get the family's junk out of here.

Aron having full control of the garden...

Oh, you don't know what I'm going through at the moment.

He's very creative.

I don't know what he's going to do, I don't know what he's planned.

When Olga mentioned the mini Taj Mahal,

I was really excited because that's the kind of landmark for India,

and plus, I just can't wait to see what's going to be in my den.

After a serious team effort, the garden is finally empty.

And this will be the last time Mum and Dad will see this space,

because in four days

it will be transformed into Aron's Bollywood den.

-Looks good, doesn't it?

-It does.

-I bet you've been wanting to do that for years.

-A long time.

-Now it's Dengineers only.

-Right...

-So go on, Dad, sling your hook. We'll see you later.

-Bye-bye.

The Dengineers have arrived, raring to go, with a huge amount of kit.

And it doesn't take long for the team to set up camp.

The first job of the day is to build the base for the den

and get the special dance floor down.

And it looks like Olga is already putting it to the test.

This is the best bit.

Once the floor is down, it's time to build the walls.

As the panels are secured into place,

the den is starting to take shape.

It's not long before Aron gets his hands on the den,

giving it the splash of Bollywood colour it's missing.

Aron, what do you think about the colour?

I think it's a really nice colour,

and I think it would...it really goes with the kind of theme

and...you know how the sun sets

-and it's kind of a pinky-purple kind of...?

-Yeah.

Well, I think it would look nice.

Next up for the Dengineers team is getting the roof on

and making sure the den is watertight.

It's been a long, productive day for the Dengineers,

but is Aron happy with the day's progress?

Today has been wonderful.

We've got the den up,

and all we need to do now is just focus on the interior,

and I think in three days' time it's going to be a mini Taj Mahal.

It's day two, and the Dengineers are quick off the mark in Liverpool.

-What do you reckon?

-It's fantastic.

-You like it?

-Yeah.

-You like the colours?

-Yeah, it's amazing.

As work continues on the front of the den,

Olga makes a start on the interior.

But it's not going too well.

I am completely confused.

This bit - what does it do? It makes no sense.

We are putting together a very simple curtain rail.

However, it's a bit more complicated than I estimated,

and...I am seriously confused.

And I'm not the only one.

While the Dengineers crack on

and Olga and Lee figure out how to put up the curtain tracks...

-Olga. Sorted it!

-Yes!

-Wahey!

..I've taken Aron away from the den and brought him here,

to the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts,

to have a Bollywood dance masterclass.

So it will be one, two, three, four.

And the other way.

'Dance teacher Will is going to teach Aron and I some dance steps

'to take back to the den to perform at the big reveal.

'This should be a doddle, right?'

Five, six, seven, eight.

One, two, three, four,

five, six, seven, eight. Great!

-That was easy, wasn't it?

-We're going to open our arms, yeah?

-And then we're going to shake it, shake it, shake it...

-Yes!

-Oh...

There are so many dance moves to remember,

and I'm forgetting, like, all of them.

I'm a bit worried I'm going to let the team down,

but Aron, as you can probably see, is doing amazingly.

He's just got it. He has just got it down to a T.

'He is picking up the dance moves so quickly, and that's good news,

'because it's time for our final dance performance.

Back at the build, it's the end of the day,

and it's been a frustrating one for Olga.

Today has gone...

not as well as I planned.

We still have to do quite a bit for the outside and we didn't do

as much on the inside as I planned,

so we need a bit of a push.

So, tomorrow we have a big surprise coming.

There is an element to this den that makes it very, very special,

and if it's going to go wrong,

I'm going to be in trouble.

With only two days left until the big reveal

and one huge surprise yet to be installed,

will the Dengineers get this den done in time?

Day three, and it's back to business for the Dengineers.

Olga and the team make a fast start,

and it looks like it's going to be a busy day.

With Olga's surprise element ready to be installed,

it's time to say goodbye to Aron.

Unfortunately, from now on, you're not allowed in

because I need to keep some of the bits as a surprise for you.

OK.

-Do we have a deal?

-Yeah.

Inspired by the three domes of the Taj Mahal,

Olga has designed a special central dome for Aron's den,

and in true Dengineer style, this is not your average dome.

-How does that look?

-That is spot-on.

This is the most important detail of my design,

and in theory it should work.

However, we're not sure until we try,

so fingers crossed we're going to make it work.

Olga's featured dome is attached to an electric piston.

A piston is a short cylinder inside a tube

that is used to make things move.

Pistons are mainly used in car and train engines.

When the dome's piston is switched on,

the electric motor pushes the arm out,

which raises the dome into place.

Time to check it out.

-It's moving.

-It's moving.

Something's moving.

This is amazing!

Wow.

-That's not enough.

-That's not enough.

I need to do some adjustment, people.

Lee, may I have my drill?

The piston is in the wrong position,

which means the central arch won't come up high enough

to match the others.

While the rest of the team take a lunch break,

Dengineer David is hard at work trying to fix the problem,

and I take the opportunity to catch up with Mum and Dad

to find out more about Aron and his love of everything Bollywood.

So, tell us about Aron - what's he like as a kid?

-Very boisterous. He's full of energy, isn't he?

-He is.

He's full of beans. It doesn't matter whether it's night or day.

And he's full of ideas that you wouldn't even think about.

He's loving. He's caring.

There's love, love, love, with Aron.

Tell us about his fascination for Bollywood.

I think Bollywood, he has had a fascination since an early age,

cos music and cinema plays a big part in our lives.

As we were growing up, we used to watch the old Bollywood movies,

the black-and-white ones.

So, it would be Saturday, Sunday or Friday night

when everyone finished work, big bowl of mangoes,

and you're watching the movie, so, yeah...

That sounds like my dream weekend.

-It is fantastic!

-I want to come round.

-I'll tell you what, get a big mango...

-You forgot the samosas.

..extended family knocking on the door, and everyone's in...

-It was just a family thing, wasn't it?

-Yeah.

So, then, as he gradually grew up, he was just into Bollywood

and he was fascinated with the colours, the singing, the dancing...

It's part and parcel of our culture, our life,

and, yeah, Bollywood's a big thing, isn't it?

Any, kind of, nerves? Any apprehension?

Are you worried about the garden?

Just have to wait and see what he's done

-and what he has chosen.

-So I'm nervous, I'm fearful...

I love bright colours, I'll say that,

but I hope it's not, kind of...

Luminous.

Standing out like a sore thumb in the street! But there you go.

-He's going to love it, either way.

I'm looking forward to it. Looking forward to it.

The exterior of the den is almost complete,

and so the team turn their attention to the inside,

where they spend the rest of the day adding the Bollywood flavour.

If you run out of proper curtain hooks, use a paperclip.

With the colourful drapes up on the wall,

Olga has something planned for Aron and Mark to add that extra bit of

bling to the den.

Aron and Mark, I need your help with the outside.

I've got this amazing idea how to turn jars

into colourful lanterns for your den.

So you can do whatever you want.

You can draw an elephant, you can do shapes -

anything that's in your head.

'First up, using special gold paint pens

'we decorate the outside of the jars.'

What's the artist's name who painted that river,

with the little lily pads in it?

-Monet.

-Monet?

-That's it.

That's what they call me -

the Monet of Essex.

You watch, when you see this...

This is a really cool and easy way to decorate jars

and gives the lanterns the Bollywood detail they need.

Look at that. That's amazing.

'With the detailed paintwork done, it's time to add the bling.

'Putting sparkly gems on the jars adds that extra bit of colour.'

That's what Bollywood is, isn't it? Colourful.

There's loads of golds and reds in Bollywood.

The next time Aron and Mark see the jars they'll have battery-powered

lights in them, transforming them into lanterns.

It's been a very productive day for the Dengineers

and as it draws to a close,

Olga is feeling very positive with the den's progress.

Today was one of the best days.

We managed to do much more than I estimated.

I'm happy with the results, especially with the dome.

And with the big den reveal looming,

the Dengineers still have tons to do and will need to work at full speed

to get this den done in time.

It's the big reveal day in Liverpool,

and it's a race against time for the Dengineers

to get the den finished.

'Loz and I carefully carry Aron's grand throne into place.'

Where are we going, Olga? Direct us, girl.

In the middle of the podium, please.

-On the stage?

-Yes.

Oh, this is ace!

I don't think we've had a den with anything like that before.

-No, it's a special feature, isn't it?

-Brilliant.

So when the dome's up, he's in - when the dome's down, he's not in.

'it's all hands on deck to get everything done.'

I feel nervous, excited...

I'm just ready to see the den.

On a scale of excitement, I am probably 1,000.

After one last epic push, the team set up for the big reveal

and add those all-important finishing touches.

I'm very excited, and I'm also scared at the same time,

so I don't know what to expect.

Well, knowing Aron, it will be something worth waiting for.

Somewhere to keep him quiet for once, as well.

'It's taken Olga and the Dengineers four days of hard work,

'and finally Aron's den is complete.'

'This garden used to be full of rusty old bikes and barbecues.'

'But Olga and her team of Dengineers have transformed it

'into an awesome space fit for Bollywood royalty.'

'But what will Aron, his family and friends think of the new den?

Aron's den is covered in colourful cushions and custom drapes.

To add to the bling there is a centrepiece chandelier,

and the upcycled lanterns.

Not only is there a huge print from his den day out,

on the opposite wall there's also another massive portrait of Aron,

so we all know whose den it is.

-Guys, are you ready to come in? ALL:
