Let's visit Angel in Peru.

This morning, Angel's going to play with his cousins.

But first, he needs something to eat.

It's very hot outside, so this shady spot is the perfect place to sit

and have breakfast.

Angel's mum's cooked him two delicious egg sandwiches.

And there's tasty porridge with pears, too.

I bet you're full now, Angel.

Mum really is a great cook.

-TRANSLATION:

-Thank you.

After breakfast, Angel's supposed to wash the dishes.

But I think he's decided he'd rather play his favourite game - football.

And so, he's off to find his team-mates -

his cousins, Santiago and Juan, who live in the house across the garden.

They love football as much as Angel.

-TRANSLATION:

-Hey, Santiago! Fancy playing football?

I can't. I've got to wash the dishes.

I'll be there as soon as I've finished.

Sorry, Angel. Dishes first, then football.

Back to the sink you go!

You clean your dishes inside...

..while Santiago takes his outside.

Time to get washing.

Finished! Well done, Angel.

So, it must be football time, now.

Not yet, Angel.

I think there's another job you've forgotten before kick-off.

That's right. You promised Grandma you'd sweep the front room.

Your cousins have finished their jobs, Angel.

How are you doing?

-TRANSLATION:

Hurry up, Angel! Santiago and Juan are ready to play.

SHE COUNTS IN SPANISH

At last, your jobs are all done, Angel.

It's time to play football.

-TRANSLATION:

-TRANSLATION:

It's a cold and icy morning here at Rhys's school.

Off with your boots and all your outdoor clothes.

Now, on with your indoor shoes and you're ready to start.

So, I'm going to have you hand out the journals. But don't start yet...

Rhys's first lesson is writing, and his teacher, Mrs Bjorg,

is asking the class to describe yesterday's skiing lesson.

CHILDREN: Yes.

-Freezing?

-CHILDREN: Yes.

-Yes, Griffin.

Yeah, there were a few people that had some big falls.

I heard someone say "swoosh".

-Rhys?

-"Weeee"? Like, just going like, "Weeee!"

-Oh, good'un. Yup.

"Weeee!" Down the hill.

Good.

Right, Rhys.

It's time to turn all those great words into

a story about your day on the ski slopes.

"Crash! Yard sale. Yesterday was day three of skiing at Norquay.

"I had three bad crashes. I almost fell down a fenced-in cliff!

After all that writing, Rhys and his friends have wrapped up again.

It's freezing cold, but no-one wants to miss playtime.

And playing games is the perfect way to keep warm.

Unlucky, Rhys.

School's finished for another day.

Now it's back into the cold for the walk home.

Let's see what Tyra's up to,

in Ghana.

There's plenty of jobs to do today for Tyra and her mum.

Right now, they need to cook their meal.

-TRANSLATION:

Now it's heating up.

Tyra helps by carefully stirring in the oil.

Mum's watching closely, because the oil will soon be very hot.

More oil.

Bring the onion.

I'll do it.

Put it down!

Tyra wants to stir the onions, but that's a job for Mum.

While the onions are cooking, Tyra's got some other jobs she wants to do.

To start with, there's washing to be done.

Tyra's only playing,

but she knows just how her mum cleans the clothes.

All by hand.

Rub it,

rinse it,

and wring it out.

So, while Mum's squeezing out the tomato paste...

..Tyra's hanging out the clothes to dry in the sun...

..and carefully folding them.

Now the clothes have been washed, it's teddy's turn.

-TRANSLATION:

-Now, I'm just going to wash you.

Cos I don't have time to bath you today.

SHE IMITATES WATER POURING

How do you know how to rinse hair so well, Tyra?

I bet you learnt that from your mum, too.

Now, Tyra's putting the fresh, clean clothes on teddy.

I've done it wrong.

I'll turn it around.

Tyra and her mum have been very busy,

and after all that washing, Tyra's really hungry.

But at last, the food's ready to eat.

Is it nice?

Yes.

I like it.

Tyra's enjoying the tasty lunch.

And so is Jessica!

What a great day it's been for everyone.

Angel played football with his cousins.

Rhys had fun in school and out in the cold.

And Tyra spent a lovely morning with her mum and her teddy.
