Imagine you've embarked on the journey of a lifetime -

0:00:020:00:05

a luxury cruise around the world.

0:00:050:00:10

I've done things and seen places that people dream of seeing.

0:00:100:00:14

2,000 people are travelling some of the way, but 400

0:00:150:00:20

lucky souls have signed up for the entire adventure.

0:00:200:00:24

This for me is the culmination of a life's dream, it sure makes your eyes water.

0:00:250:00:30

They'll be stopping at some of the most beautiful

0:00:310:00:34

and exotic places around the globe.

0:00:340:00:36

I think it's the most amazing thing ever.

0:00:390:00:42

But this all-inclusive package offers much more than

0:00:420:00:45

sunshine and sightseeing.

0:00:450:00:47

On this global odyssey, the passengers have their very own vicar.

0:00:470:00:51

Welcome, everyone, to this very special and happy occasion.

0:00:510:00:55

The ship is my parish, and therefore I'm seeking to minister to

0:00:560:01:00

everyone on board, whether they are believers or not.

0:01:000:01:04

Welcome to The Cruise.

0:01:040:01:05

It's nearly three months

0:01:170:01:19

since the cruise liner Balmoral left Southampton. She's seen off

0:01:190:01:24

the Atlantic and Pacific, and now she's heading into the Indian Ocean.

0:01:240:01:29

The ship's minister is the Reverend Colin Still.

0:01:370:01:40

One of the reasons a chaplain is on board the ship is

0:01:400:01:44

either for Christmas or Easter, because it's then that we conduct

0:01:440:01:48

the holy communion service, which no-one other than a priest can do.

0:01:480:01:52

Right now, we're ready for business.

0:01:540:01:57

Holy Week is always full of activity and it is busy, but because I have a number

0:01:570:02:02

of special services, and then there's the choir, there's just quite a lot

0:02:020:02:07

of arrangements for each of the services.

0:02:070:02:11

I've got a crew mass tonight at 11:00,

0:02:110:02:15

so that will be the end of my Palm Sunday, almost at midnight.

0:02:150:02:20

-The Lord be with you.

-And also with you.

0:02:220:02:25

Our crew are on board for nine months of the year, and some of them

0:02:250:02:30

have very young children at home, they have wives,

0:02:300:02:34

so they don't see them very often, so that separation is painful.

0:02:340:02:38

Nesty Coronel met, fell in love with

0:02:380:02:42

and married her husband Michael whilst working on board.

0:02:420:02:46

You look after quite a few passengers in their cabins,

0:02:460:02:50

how many are you looking after, Nesty?

0:02:500:02:53

19.

0:02:530:02:54

19? That is a lot, isn't it?

0:02:540:02:56

Yes.

0:02:560:02:58

Like many of the crew, Nesty has to sacrifice a life at home to

0:02:580:03:02

provide for her family.

0:03:020:03:05

You've got a three-year-old?

0:03:060:03:07

Three-year-old daughter.

0:03:070:03:09

And that's the hard bit, isn't it? It must have been difficult

0:03:090:03:13

saying goodbye to her just after Christmas?

0:03:130:03:15

Yes, actually, we just let her sleep.

0:03:150:03:20

In the other house,

0:03:200:03:23

so we can see her when we leave, cos it is hard.

0:03:230:03:28

It is so awful.

0:03:280:03:33

But life is... Life is like that.

0:03:330:03:38

Choirmistress Sue Alderson is also missing family,

0:03:420:03:45

especially her ailing mum.

0:03:450:03:48

She gets news whenever she can.

0:03:480:03:50

'I haven't called my daughter, Hannah, since I last did...'

0:03:530:03:56

Are you there?

0:03:560:03:57

'..because I don't know how to do it properly.'

0:03:570:04:01

-'Hello!'

-Oh, you're there! This is amazing.

0:04:010:04:06

'So we just email and text, and that's fine.'

0:04:080:04:12

I would have felt bad, much worse, if I hadn't been able to do that,

0:04:120:04:16

because you would end up worrying what's happening all the time,

0:04:160:04:19

but now that I'm getting messages through, it is a lot better.

0:04:190:04:22

The choir helps, from being away from home. I think without

0:04:260:04:30

even my mum's problems, I might have been a bit homesick

0:04:300:04:33

over four months, and even if it's just for a split second,

0:04:330:04:39

it takes your mind off anything that's really troubling you.

0:04:390:04:43

Smile!

0:04:430:04:44

They've arrived on the island of Phuket in Thailand.

0:04:480:04:51

We've got a great excursion today here at Wat Chalong, which is

0:04:520:04:58

one of the... Well, it's the biggest Buddhist temple in Phuket,

0:04:580:05:02

and these temples are beautifully kept, and obviously greatly revered.

0:05:020:05:07

I have every respect for the Buddhist religion, it has a lot to commend it.

0:05:080:05:14

Well, religion goes right to the heart of people's spirit

0:05:160:05:20

and soul, and it gives the meaning to life and enables us

0:05:200:05:25

to have hope and also to try and make sense of this crazy world.

0:05:250:05:29

Next stop, an elephant sanctuary.

0:05:310:05:34

Hello.

0:05:400:05:42

Right foot first.

0:05:440:05:45

I haven't ridden on an elephant before. I've ridden on a camel,

0:05:480:05:52

but not an elephant.

0:05:520:05:54

What is our elephant's name?

0:05:560:05:58

-Wabbo. Wabbo.

-Wabbo.

0:06:000:06:02

I think it's the most amazing thing ever, it's so exciting.

0:06:050:06:10

I'm quite overwhelmed, really, a bit taken with it.

0:06:160:06:20

We're not getting off. We're just going to stay on, go round all day.

0:06:200:06:25

-Hello.

-Hello, hello.

0:06:280:06:30

-Wonderful.

-Thank you, it's just been absolutely amazing.

0:06:310:06:39

I just loved it, it was really something very special,

0:06:390:06:43

nothing too demanding, just magic.

0:06:430:06:47

It was more than I thought. I thought it would be a bit

0:06:470:06:52

more touristy, but it's not. The conservation that they do here

0:06:520:06:56

is fabulous, and the way that they look after the elephants,

0:06:560:07:01

that the Mahout has his own elephant for life - imagine that!

0:07:010:07:07

Having an elephant for life - why wasn't I born a Mahout with an elephant?

0:07:070:07:13

Bye-bye.

0:07:130:07:14

Whilst some passengers are on a short cruise, about a third

0:07:180:07:21

have paid to go all the way around the world.

0:07:210:07:24

Most of our passengers are over 60,

0:07:240:07:27

and many of them have saved up in order to do a cruise of a lifetime.

0:07:270:07:32

Retired builder Ken Marshall

0:07:350:07:36

and his wife Shirley from Yorkshire are celebrating

0:07:360:07:40

their 60th anniversary by renewing their wedding vows.

0:07:400:07:43

BOTH: Today, in the presence of our family and friends,

0:07:430:07:47

we affirm our continuing commitment to this marriage.

0:07:470:07:52

Shirley and Ken cruise because Shirley loves to see the world

0:07:520:07:57

and she's vivacious and she's very energetic.

0:07:570:08:01

On this happy occasion for us and for everybody. Happy days.

0:08:010:08:06

She drags poor old Ken along, he comes along to please her.

0:08:080:08:11

I've seen a lot of the world, because I was in the RAF,

0:08:130:08:18

but I've come on this trip for Shirley to enjoy herself.

0:08:180:08:22

For Ken and Shirley on the occasion of their 60th wedding anniversary.

0:08:230:08:29

You know, you're busy in life. You work, you bring children up.

0:08:290:08:34

You reach a pitch in life and you think,

0:08:340:08:36

"Eh, what have I seen? Nothing."

0:08:360:08:38

And I think, "Gosh, before I can't go,

0:08:380:08:41

"I want to see everything there is."

0:08:410:08:44

Ken's got a number of medical conditions, but he seems to cope,

0:08:450:08:53

and he's very often quite happy just to stay in his cabin.

0:08:530:08:57

It is lovely he does this out of love for her and to make her happy,

0:08:570:09:03

and that's one of, I think,

0:09:030:09:04

the successes of their 60 years of marriage.

0:09:040:09:06

Shirley more or less has to do things on her own,

0:09:090:09:13

but I trust her wherever she goes!

0:09:130:09:17

He just waits for me to come back to him,

0:09:180:09:21

and I wish he could come with me, but he couldn't cope.

0:09:210:09:25

I enjoy it. I have no tears

0:09:260:09:29

to be miserable, I do enjoy being on the ship.

0:09:290:09:33

My grandchildren call it Granddad's nursing home on the sea.

0:09:350:09:41

Oh, that's enough.

0:09:420:09:44

And a couple of them call me Corporal Jones in Dad's Army,

0:09:460:09:51

because I have the shakes like Corporal Jones,

0:09:510:09:54

and they think it's wonderful to take the mickey out of Granddad.

0:09:540:09:59

As Holy Week progresses, the crew are preparing for Easter...

0:09:590:10:03

..with hundreds of hot cross buns.

0:10:070:10:10

# He likes bread and butter

0:10:100:10:12

# And he likes toast and jam

0:10:120:10:15

# That's what really pleases him

0:10:150:10:17

# And he's a loving man. #

0:10:170:10:20

But they are also anticipating something far more sinister.

0:10:320:10:35

The passengers will notice around an increased patrol of the ship,

0:10:380:10:42

which will consist of our security personnel

0:10:420:10:46

and contracted UK security personnel.

0:10:460:10:49

They're going to see razor wire around Deck 7.

0:10:500:10:54

They're going to see water cannons and additional searchlights.

0:10:540:11:00

Captain Stoica is overseeing the operation.

0:11:020:11:05

We're taking all of these precautions

0:11:070:11:09

due to pirate activity in this area,

0:11:090:11:12

and to make sure that we're ensuring a safe transit for our passengers

0:11:120:11:18

and crew in a high-risk transit area.

0:11:180:11:20

They'll be in the danger zone in a few days' time.

0:11:210:11:25

We're notifying the Coalition Forces and the Royal Navy,

0:11:250:11:28

and they'll be there for us to help in case we need it.

0:11:280:11:31

Balmoral makes its way to Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka.

0:11:400:11:44

This afternoon, we're doing a little tour of the city,

0:11:520:11:55

and we've got some of the crew with us on this little sightseeing trip.

0:11:550:11:59

Two of his party are Nesty and Michael.

0:11:590:12:02

Do you like spicy food?

0:12:020:12:05

Not really, compared to Thai and Indonesian.

0:12:050:12:10

I was glad of the opportunity of getting to know them better,

0:12:110:12:15

simply because it's not easy to deepen relationships on board

0:12:150:12:20

with the crew, because I don't see enough of them.

0:12:200:12:23

I think they had a lovely afternoon, and I certainly did.

0:12:230:12:26

How do they put the flower round the neck?

0:12:290:12:32

I imagine they have scaffolding, you know, a crane.

0:12:320:12:35

-Maybe they just throw on it.

-I don't think so.

0:12:350:12:39

One, two, three.

0:12:390:12:40

We've just seen some of the major sites in Colombo,

0:12:400:12:43

but not long enough, unfortunately, because they had to be back

0:12:430:12:48

for their duties, so we had to cut it rather short.

0:12:480:12:51

Shirley's keen for Ken to see a little more of the world.

0:12:550:12:59

It's a tuk-tuk ride, which I haven't been looking forward to.

0:12:590:13:02

People have terrified me this morning,

0:13:020:13:05

saying it'll be this, that and the other.

0:13:050:13:08

Look at the kites, Ken.

0:13:120:13:15

It's turned out absolutely top drawer.

0:13:200:13:24

It's wonderful, and the hair-raising driving is marvellous.

0:13:240:13:28

Hey, look at that building there, Ken.

0:13:310:13:34

You don't mind me not getting out, do you?

0:13:430:13:46

There's lovely buildings, and seeing the temple was something else.

0:13:460:13:51

It's been tremendous.

0:13:520:13:54

I've done nothing but sit in a tuk-tuk, and had a wonderful time.

0:13:540:13:58

If we hadn't come on this tour today, we'd have gone to see Colin

0:14:010:14:05

in the cathedral, because it's a big day for Colin, today.

0:14:050:14:09

It's at St Peter's Church.

0:14:090:14:11

Colin's been invited to take part in a special service

0:14:110:14:15

for The Mission to Seafarers, a charity which provides help

0:14:150:14:19

and support to ships' crews all over the world.

0:14:190:14:22

We're here in St Peter's Church,

0:14:220:14:24

preparing for the Thanksgiving service

0:14:240:14:27

and celebration for seafarers.

0:14:270:14:30

I'm looking forward to taking part in it, and a lot of people

0:14:310:14:34

are involved, and it will be, I'm sure,

0:14:340:14:36

to the glory of God, and will be a great celebration.

0:14:360:14:40

Nice to meet you, it's good to be here.

0:14:400:14:43

I was a bit surprised to find quite so many naval cadets.

0:14:430:14:48

The whole church was filled with them.

0:14:480:14:50

It's the first time he's been asked to give a sermon on foreign soil.

0:14:500:14:55

We've got the High Commissioner coming,

0:14:550:14:56

the Chairman of The Mission to Seafarers is coming,

0:14:560:14:59

our archdeacon here, and some of the clergy.

0:14:590:15:02

So it's a very special celebration,

0:15:020:15:04

and it's a privilege for me to be part of it.

0:15:040:15:07

You here in Sri Lanka are an island nation,

0:15:140:15:19

just as I have come from Britain, also an island nation,

0:15:190:15:23

and we are very much dependent upon the sea.

0:15:230:15:27

It was a very visual service,

0:15:320:15:34

because the cadets looked incredibly smart

0:15:340:15:37

in their white uniforms, and then carrying all the flags

0:15:370:15:41

of the nations was also very meaningful.

0:15:410:15:44

The Blessing of God Almighty, the Father,

0:15:450:15:48

the Son and the Holy Spirit.

0:15:480:15:50

With the help of the band and everyone else,

0:15:500:15:54

it made for a really uplifting and a very good service.

0:15:540:15:58

Shake hands, that's the way.

0:16:200:16:22

Nice to have you here.

0:16:220:16:24

I've had superb day, and everybody looked after us very well,

0:16:280:16:34

as I don't walk far.

0:16:340:16:36

Are you going to walk with me?

0:16:360:16:38

Come on, then. Do you want to go listen to him talk down there?

0:16:380:16:42

No. This will be far enough for me.

0:16:420:16:46

Smile.

0:16:460:16:48

It's wonderful.

0:16:480:16:49

I love having him with me, but sometimes it's just too much.

0:16:490:16:54

You've got your finger over it.

0:16:540:16:57

So, I have to go by myself, but when he can come with me, it's wonderful.

0:16:570:17:03

We've got more photos than soft Mick.

0:17:030:17:06

Today's been special, absolutely special.

0:17:060:17:10

-Every day's special with you, Shirley.

-Thank you, love.

0:17:100:17:13

Sue's coming to terms with some bad news.

0:17:200:17:23

I heard during the week my mum has had a stroke

0:17:240:17:29

and has been in hospital, but she's out now and back in the nursing home.

0:17:290:17:35

The family has been superb.

0:17:360:17:38

My sister and her husband and my daughters

0:17:380:17:43

have taken it in turns to go each weekend.

0:17:430:17:46

Friends are superb, and they've been visiting as well,

0:17:460:17:52

and letting me know how she's going on.

0:17:520:17:55

So, we just hope that she, yeah, pulls through.

0:17:550:18:00

Fortunately, her husband's on board.

0:18:040:18:07

David's been marvellous.

0:18:070:18:08

He's a wonderful support, and he always manages

0:18:080:18:11

to say the right thing and put everything into perspective.

0:18:110:18:17

He's very, very good indeed, so I'm pleased to have him here with me.

0:18:170:18:23

Don't bring any bags out. The only thing is, glasses on.

0:18:230:18:29

It's the final rehearsal before Easter Sunday...

0:18:290:18:33

You'll need to move swiftly. Are we ready?

0:18:330:18:36

..and the heat's on for the choir.

0:18:360:18:38

Don't fuss.

0:18:380:18:39

Don't look to the sides or say, "I should be here,"

0:18:390:18:42

or, "You should be there," or anything else. Straight into place.

0:18:420:18:46

We've all had a very hot day.

0:18:460:18:49

The temperature is 97, and everybody's exhausted.

0:18:490:18:52

Please don't twitch heads one way or the other.

0:18:520:18:56

No! Speaking. Please, go back to the sides.

0:18:560:19:00

Sorry to be like this, but it is so important.

0:19:000:19:03

It's kind of like, what are we doing, what are we singing, what do we do?

0:19:030:19:07

Everybody goes a bit to pieces, really.

0:19:070:19:10

Straight up, eyes this way. Walk in Jerusalem.

0:19:100:19:15

# I want to be ready

0:19:150:19:18

# I want to be ready... #

0:19:180:19:20

Andy's done really well, and I think it works really nicely,

0:19:210:19:25

with him leading into the service quite gently.

0:19:250:19:28

Perfect.

0:19:280:19:30

They're all doing a different part, more or less different rhythms,

0:19:300:19:34

so that can be a bit tricky.

0:19:340:19:35

THEY SING

0:19:360:19:39

Stop, stop, stop. I feel you coming in too soon.

0:19:420:19:45

Just having the confidence and remembering the words,

0:19:450:19:49

because they've learnt these words in the last few days, as well.

0:19:490:19:52

THEY SING

0:19:520:19:53

# John said... #

0:19:550:19:56

Same note.

0:19:560:19:57

# John said... #

0:19:570:19:59

We'll be OK tomorrow.

0:19:590:20:01

I'm sure it'll be fine tomorrow, and people will understand anyway,

0:20:010:20:05

won't they? So...

0:20:050:20:06

As Balmoral moves into the pirate zone,

0:20:090:20:11

the passengers must be prepared for action.

0:20:110:20:14

In approximately 15 minutes' time, we'll conduct a mandatory

0:20:140:20:19

exercise for all our guests and crew on board.

0:20:190:20:22

The Safe Haven drill consists of gathering the passengers and crew

0:20:230:20:28

in a safe location in case we're going to be under pirate attack.

0:20:280:20:31

Everybody, sit down, please.

0:20:320:20:34

It may appear excessive, but Balmoral's been threatened before.

0:20:370:20:42

When it happened in 2009, it was very crowded,

0:20:420:20:47

because if you can imagine, we had over 1,000 passengers

0:20:470:20:50

and 500 crew that had to go into those two Safe Haven areas.

0:20:500:20:55

Ian Earnshaw remembers the incident well.

0:20:580:21:00

Before the attack, everything was normal on the ship,

0:21:000:21:04

completely normal, because everybody didn't think

0:21:040:21:07

for one moment that it would ever happen.

0:21:070:21:11

There may be trouble ahead.

0:21:110:21:13

Where do I sit? Anywhere? Anywhere.

0:21:130:21:17

Drama teacher Carol Bunyan witnessed the first encounter.

0:21:170:21:21

One night, the ship was encircled by small boats,

0:21:210:21:26

and I think they were recceing.

0:21:260:21:28

It struck me it was a recce, and then a couple of days later,

0:21:280:21:32

the Captain's voice came on.

0:21:320:21:35

He said, "This is not a drill, this is not a drill."

0:21:350:21:38

And you just felt the hairs on the back of your neck just prickling.

0:21:380:21:43

While the attack was taking place,

0:21:430:21:46

the ship was moving from side to side quite violently.

0:21:460:21:49

I mean, it made sense to be sitting on the floor.

0:21:490:21:53

A little daunting, a little daunting to see,

0:21:530:21:56

because it makes you think, "Oh, this is not Johnny Depp,

0:21:560:21:59

"this is not fun, this is actually quite serious,

0:21:590:22:01

"and somebody could get hurt."

0:22:010:22:03

We were informed that a United States warship was in the proximity.

0:22:040:22:10

The American Frigate got itself between the Balmoral

0:22:100:22:14

and the threatening little boats, and the captain put his foot down,

0:22:140:22:21

and we ran off like Mulley Cheese Wallop in a dignified

0:22:210:22:23

sort of way, while the frigate coped with the small boats.

0:22:230:22:29

But when the ships did its manoeuvres

0:22:290:22:32

to avoid the attack, the ship would rock from side to side.

0:22:320:22:37

The main danger is the people standing up would fall on those

0:22:370:22:41

that were laying down, and that's when the bruises would happen.

0:22:410:22:44

They were in far more danger of that

0:22:440:22:46

than being hit by the Jolly Roger flag.

0:22:460:22:48

Colin and I were actually in charge of getting

0:22:490:22:52

people down on the floor.

0:22:520:22:53

That was the only resistance, people saying,

0:22:530:22:56

"I'll never get up, dear, once I get down."

0:22:560:22:59

The older people, that would have reminded them of the wartime Blitz,

0:22:590:23:03

like going to the London Underground in the cities, under the shelters.

0:23:030:23:07

So, that took them right back to that time of life,

0:23:070:23:10

and in fact, I heard them singing.

0:23:100:23:13

Some old war songs further down, started singing war songs.

0:23:130:23:17

We had There'll Always Be An England,

0:23:200:23:23

lots of stirring Vera Lynn stuff went on.

0:23:230:23:26

I think the passengers thoroughly enjoyed it, actually,

0:23:260:23:29

a lot of things to write on the postcards home.

0:23:290:23:32

It threw everything into chaos, that night, but it was good fun.

0:23:330:23:38

We sat there, sitting with different people, people probably

0:23:380:23:41

that they'd never met, so everyone was talking.

0:23:410:23:43

I would imagine friendships were made.

0:23:430:23:46

I think it was, you know, it was an experience.

0:23:460:23:50

They'll have to remain ready, as Balmoral will be in high-risk area

0:23:540:24:00

for the next two weeks.

0:24:000:24:02

Well, it's Easter at last, and there is quite a responsibility,

0:24:100:24:15

because I've got three services to take and three different

0:24:150:24:19

addresses to give.

0:24:190:24:20

So there's quite a bit of stress,

0:24:200:24:23

so I'm just glad to be here early to get everything ready.

0:24:230:24:27

CHURCH MUSIC PLAYS

0:24:290:24:32

It's a day, indeed, to rejoice,

0:24:370:24:40

and we share that happiness with Christians all around the world.

0:24:400:24:45

Amen.

0:24:450:24:47

Easter Day is the most important,

0:24:470:24:49

because it highlights Jesus' purpose in coming, knowing that

0:24:490:24:54

not only are we forgiven, but also that we have that gift

0:24:540:24:57

of eternal life.

0:24:570:24:59

Colin's organised the music for the Crew Service.

0:25:000:25:03

Hello, Tim, that's the hymn sheet for today,

0:25:060:25:11

and there is the service sheet.

0:25:110:25:14

Welcome to our Easter Sunday Holy Communion, or Mass.

0:25:140:25:19

It's lovely to see you all here today.

0:25:190:25:21

SHE SINGS

0:25:270:25:33

We've had a great service this afternoon, and I think the crew

0:25:380:25:42

appreciated introducing music, which I've done at long last,

0:25:420:25:48

and also be able to enjoy Easter service, mindful of their families.

0:25:480:25:54

So, it's been good in the parish at sea

0:25:540:25:57

to be celebrating Easter in this way.

0:25:570:26:01

So, it's two down and one to go.

0:26:020:26:05

Happy Easter, Ken.

0:26:050:26:07

Happy Easter to you. Did you have a pleasant day yesterday?

0:26:070:26:09

-Busy one.

-Happy Easter.

-And to you.

0:26:090:26:11

I'm not that religious.

0:26:130:26:15

-Morning, Colin.

-Good morning, Ian.

0:26:150:26:17

I don't normally go to church,

0:26:170:26:19

only on christenings and weddings and funerals.

0:26:190:26:23

But I like Colin, I've got a lot of time for Colin,

0:26:230:26:26

so we're all going down there, a few of my party going down,

0:26:260:26:29

which will be nice.

0:26:290:26:31

Jesus Christ is risen today. Halleluiah.

0:26:310:26:37

It's always a tradition of being a joyful service and bright.

0:26:370:26:41

It's been quite a hectic week, as Palm Sunday was a bit

0:26:450:26:48

frustrating, because we weren't able to have the choir sing.

0:26:480:26:52

They're going to sing today the piece they prepared last week.

0:26:520:26:55

# I want to be ready

0:26:550:26:59

# I want to be ready

0:26:590:27:03

# I want to be ready... #

0:27:030:27:05

The knee started shaking, and I could feel myself

0:27:050:27:07

getting a bit nervous, but fortunately,

0:27:070:27:10

it seemed to go reasonably well.

0:27:100:27:11

I thought it could have gone a lot better, but hey ho.

0:27:110:27:15

# Oh, by and by

0:27:190:27:22

# By and by

0:27:220:27:25

# Oh, by and by

0:27:250:27:28

# By and by

0:27:280:27:31

# Oh, by and by

0:27:310:27:34

# By and by

0:27:340:27:38

# I'm going to lay down my heavy load

0:27:380:27:43

# For I tried it on at the gates of hell... #

0:27:430:27:50

It went really, really well.

0:27:520:27:53

I thought it was a lovely service as far as the choir is concerned.

0:27:530:27:57

I think they did a superb job, they looked fabulous,

0:27:570:28:00

they sounded good.

0:28:000:28:01

I'm really proud of them.

0:28:010:28:03

# Ready

0:28:030:28:06

# To walk in Jerusalem just like John. #

0:28:090:28:16

Next time, Colin remembers those who fell at El Alamein...

0:28:170:28:22

They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old.

0:28:220:28:27

..and Balmoral is coming home after four months at sea.

0:28:270:28:31

-It's been so good. It's been marvellous.

-It really has.
