-The Christmas season is busy

-for footballers and rugby players.

-It's usually the derby season.

-Our rugby stars have been filming

-in a remote location in the Vale.

-We sent Owain Gwynedd

-to find out more.

-Christmas is almost here, and it's

-time to celebrate and over-indulge.

-But it's the busiest time of

-the year for our rugby players.

-I'm in the Vale of Glamorgan for the

-promo of S4C's rugby this Christmas.

-We aim to create a festive ambience

-that brings everyone together.

-We associate rugby with battling,

-competiveness and hostility.

-But for once we want to show

-that rugby can unite people.

-A family atmosphere is being created

-in a cosy dwelling on Christmas Day.

-Everyone's eating sweets, sandwiches

-and playing Monopoly.

-They've behaved themselves

-and everything has worked out.

-They've only competed over the food

-and fought for the final mince pie.

-A feast's been laid out, but the

-players eat chicken and protein.

-This hasn't been the case

-as they've fought over the food.

-Over-indulging can be a headache, or

-belly-ache for players at Christmas.

-Do you binge at Christmas?

-I won't eat too much turkey

-but have few glasses of bucks fizz.

-We don't have time to relax

-as it's a busy time for us.

-Have you been good for Santa?

-I want a great family Christmas.

-I can't wait to see

-their faces on Christmas Day.

-and relax.

-The only time we can enjoy

-is after Boxing Day.

-Who is the naughtiest of them all?

-Nicky Smith loves his food and

-said he hadn't eaten since lunch.

-When preparing the turkey rolls,

-That's not a problem as we have

-great shots of people feasting.

-Everyone enjoys eating at Christmas.
