-He's scaled Snowdon 52 times this

-year in aid of Wales Air Ambulance.

-Gerallt joined him recently.

-It's easy to embark on a trek to the

-summit of Snowdon in good company.

-The weather forecast promised

-that the morning mist would pass...

-..as Elfed Williams, Rhys Meirion,

-Tudur Owen, Dr Dylan Parry and I...

-..left Pen-y-Pass

-and embarked on our journey.

-By the time we reached Llyn Llydaw,

-the weather was perfect.

-Elfed, that's Snowdon

-but it's currently covered in fog.

-I'm raising funds for the

-worthy charity, Wales Air Ambulance.

-Elfed, you mentioned that you're

-supporting the Air Ambulance...

-is very grateful to the service.

-We can't thank them enough.

-In August 2013, our son, Twm had

-an accident in Blaenau Ffestiniog.

-Without the Air Ambulance, his fate

-could've been very different.

-He was flown to Bangor

-but we received some bad news.

-That's when the Air Ambulance

-returned again to take him to Stoke.

-Thankfully, he's done well

-and he's now recovered.

-The famous Crib Goch

-is hiding just beyond the clouds.

-Earlier this year, we climbed

-Snowdon starting from Rhyd Ddu.

-The weather was quite bad.

-We discussed the best way to scale

-Snowdon during the coming months.

-You mentioned that you had

-never come through Crib Goch.

-I enjoyed it on the day

-but I don't want to do it again.

-Are you glad that you've done it?

-I'm glad that I did it with a doctor

-and that I lived to tell the tale!

-I first met Elfed

-at Galeri, Caernarfon.

-He contacted me on Facebook asking

-to be a part of the Walk On tour.

-He was bald, covered in tattoos

-and didn't look like a walker.

-However, he proceeded to tell me

-about the story of his son, Twm.

-Without the Air Ambulance,

-he wouldn't be alive.

-I didn't know him before the walk...

-..but after a couple of miles,

-I felt like I'd always known him.

-I walked many miles in his company

-and we even shared a pair of pants!

-Snowdon has its own micro-climate.

-The weather had changed

-by the time we reached Bwlch Glas.

-However, we kept going to complete

-another walk in Elfyn's challenge.

-However, I've been living in London

-for seven years.

-I studied there and

-decided to make it my home.

-I recently won a special award.

-It was the Young London Welsh

-singer award.

-at the London Welsh centre.

-Six of us made it to the final

-and I was lucky enough to win.

-What did winning mean?

-I won 2,000.

-It helps with the living costs in

-London and pays for singing lessons.

-It was my final chance to compete

-as I'm now 30.

-I've been competing for many years.

-You haven't been home much this year

-as you've been busy travelling.

-I've been performing all over the

-country, this year.

-Our latest production toured with

-the show, Hamlet.

-We performed in Norwich most

-recently.

-I had to live in hotels

-during our tour.

-As a singer, you don't get to spend

-a lot of time at home.

-I've been living out of the case.

-I take my car everywhere as it's

-packed full of my possessions.

-I'll return with the company

-next year.

-We'll do Madame Butterfly and many

-more productions.

-It will be a busy year.

-I've been making these for a year.

-I started by making hedgehogs

-for my grandchildren.

-They take a lot of work,

-In December, I'd say the gingerbread

-reindeer and Ferrero Rocher cakes.

-They sound great,

-but you're also making pancakes.

-This is a new thing for this year.

-I make these and there are plenty

-of rag dolls and Welsh dolls...

-the small ones are great sellers.
