From Lands End to John O'Groats and everywhere in between.

So tonight I'm going to revisit some of my favourite moments from the last two series.

Plus, just for tonight, some brand new surprises you've never seen before.

Along the way, I've surprised people in a variety of weird and wonderful disguises,

including a loud-mouth tourist,

a hopeless theatre usher, an eccentric Spanish choreographer

and a grinning idiot in a T-shirt and jeans.

'like the amazing Pearl, our daredevil granny!

'and take a look back at the time I became a diva detective with jazz hands and a hidden agenda.

'22-year-old Hayley Ruck is always there for her friends and family,

'so her best friend Jade thought Hayley deserved a surprise she'd never forget.'

Hayley is definitely a larger-than-life character

and she is probably the most reliable person that I know

and I want everybody else to see that she's deserving, as well.

'Hayley makes extra cash as an extra,

'so she's here on set with best friend Jade for my pretend police series.

'But as the crew get ready to record, the crime-fighting detective becomes a foot-stomping diva.'

'Having seen my temperamental side, Hayley's come up with an extreme way to stop her giggles during filming.'

And how does it feel to suddenly find yourself up close and personal with your idol?

-Well, here's flight attendant Carol McIntyre to spill the beans.

'Last year, I transformed into a toothy Ted and completely hopeless air steward

'to surprise cabin manager Carol McIntyre.

'Her husband Colin knows she's swapped her showbiz dreams for time with her family.'

I just feel deep down in my heart that it's an opportunity

that she's put aside and sacrificed to be with me.

To help try and make her wish come true

through this programme is absolutely fantastic for me

because it's a way for me to give back to Carol that fantastic wish that really money can't buy.

On the day of the hit, I was told by my boss and by my husband Colin

I was presenting a DVD for the airline.

So when I actually got to the airport and I saw the camera crew there,

I just thought it was a normal DVD company.

I'm now going to hand you over to the boys who are going to carry out the manual demonstration.

James will read and Francis will carry out the demonstration.

It wasn't until we had the incident with the lifejackets

that I thought, "Something is not right here".

People ask me, "How did you not recognise him?"

But in the context of the whole scenario, no, I didn't recognise him.

We need to stop this.

He then proceeded to take the wig off and the goofy teeth out

and I thought, "Oh, my goodness".

My mind was racing at this point. There was a thousand questions going through my head.

-I thought I...

-I was very surprised that all my work colleagues, family and friends

managed to keep this a huge secret from me.

Not once did anybody let anything slip out,

so ten out of ten for all those folks involved.

# You are the wind beneath my wings

When I went along for the rehearsal, there was a gentleman standing by the piano

and I looked and I thought, "It can't be him". It was Michael Bolton.

-Hi, Carol.

-He was genuine, he was so kind.

What an experience. What a moment that was for me.

The day of the show, the whole atmosphere was electric.

Friends and family were going to be coming into the studio.

As soon as the doors opened, the nerves seemed to disappear and it just felt as if I was at home.

BOTH: # Tell me, how am I supposed to live without you?

# Now that I've been loving you so long

I never thought I would be able to stand up there and sing in front of millions of people.

It boosted my confidence. It gave me a belief in myself

that I thought had gone 20-odd years ago.

For anyone who has a dream, don't give up on it.

Grasp it with both hands. I did. I never thought in a million years

I would be able to walk on a stage, sing in front of millions of people

and sing with Michael Bolton. What an experience and one I'll never forget.

'What happens when you combine a taxi, a missing bag and a pair of my pants?

'It's either my average Saturday night or a priceless surprise on 21-year-old Connie Nash.

'She's a born performer and Mum Rosemary is her biggest fan.'

Singing has always been her life.

She comes and sings to the old people in the village for us,

she'll sing anywhere. Give her a stage and a microphone and she's away.

'But when Connie's not singing, she's busy helping Mum, who has health problems.

'Connie runs the house and makes sure the family have everything they need.'

She's just my brick. She's just there for me.

'And it's not just her family she's there for.

'Her best friend Joanna says Connie is the first person her friends will turn to in their hour of need.'

Connie is an amazing friend cos she's so selfless.

She would do anything for anyone at any time. She's an amazing person.

Classy songs deserve classy performances

and one of the most memorable was when a young woman from Somerset

duetted with soprano Dame Kiri Te Kanawa.

I'm at the Royal Bath and West Show to surprise Teresa, our teenage fundraiser.

She has no idea we're here to make her dreams come true.

'29-year-old Teresa De Roberto from Somerset is at the show to sing for the Royal British Legion.

'According to her best friend Hannah, it's just one of the many charity gigs she does every year.'

Teresa lives for singing and if she can sing and do work for charity

at the same time then it's perfect for her.

'Teresa's been told when she finishes there will be a photo call with the poppy mascot.

'But she has no idea that it's going to be me inside the costume!'

For this next surprise, myself and the Tonight's The Night team

used what we know best, the TV screen.

I was with a bunch of TV professionals putting on a TV show in a TV shop.

-What could possibly go wrong? Apart from everything!

-APPLAUSE

'Somerset girl Sarah Lowry has come to London today

'for a spot of shopping with her mum and Nana Rose.'

Or so she thinks. Now, her mum and her nan are in on this

and are waiting round the corner for our call so we can get started.

'23-year-old Sarah works in a care home and lives with her mum and nana in Yeovil.

'And the whole family shares a passion for singing.'

If I'm really down in the dumps or stressed out,

she'll start singing and that just gives me a lift.

I get very emotional. It makes me cry but I try not to because I know she'll call me a wimp if she sees me.

'Complications at birth and cerebral palsy

'meant Sarah's first 18 years were spent in and out of hospital having major surgery,

'so she missed out on things other children take for granted.'

She couldn't go to things like ballet lessons like little girls do.

She couldn't sit on the beach because she was always in plaster.

She could never ride a bike.

Sarah never really complained about what she was going through.

You never hear Sarah talk about her problems.

And most of the people don't even know that she's been in hospital like she has.

'Despite her own challenges, Sarah volunteers at a hospice and helps to run the local youth theatre group.

'So to recognise her achievements, Mum and Nana Rose would like me

'to arrange for Sarah to sing live in the studio. But that's not all.

'I've set up a masterclass from opera legend Andrea Bocelli for tips on how to wow the nation.'

Seeing Sarah perform on Tonight's The Night

will make me the proudest grandmother in the world.

'Back in London, Sarah thinks Mum and Nana are taking her shopping for a new television. But guess what?

'We've filled the store with secret cameras. In true Tonight's The Night fashion

I'm going to spice things up and turn the cameras around on Sarah. Make that dream come true.

'When Sarah arrives, these screens will be playing my new cookery show, which is fake,

'and we'll have a special message for her. But before we even finish setting up,

'Sarah and her family arrive and we have to make a quick exit to avoid blowing the surprise.'

Thank you! Listen, I'm not alone. There are plenty of dance dreamers out there,

and when they hit this stage, the results can be spectacular.

Especially when dance group Diversity is involved.

'Last year I went to Wolverhampton to surprise self-taught dancer Mitchell McDonald.

'A few years ago, Mitchell's world was shattered when his dad died in a road traffic accident.'

The way Mitchell dealt with my dad's death was to just shut out the world,

perhaps for a few weeks pretend it didn't happen, and just live in his own bubble.

'But Mitchell wasn't just shutting himself away,

'he was dealing with his grief by turning it into something positive.

'And up in his room, he was learning to dance. Mitchell's big dream was to meet dance group Diversity.'

I've always followed Diversity. I think they're out of this world. They're class.

'After his sister Jamie-Lee got in touch, I took my team to his school and fed Mitchell a big fat lie.'

On the day of the surprise, I got told that Wolverhampton University

was doing a video shoot for one of their courses.

But it wasn't really, it was the BBC and I didn't have a clue.

This kid is awesome!

Is that it? Ready? Stand by, here we go.

John Barrowman came on the stage and I couldn't believe it. It was amazing.

'The twins dedicated their time to running workshops for teenagers,

'believing that dance can help build self-esteem and confidence.

'He would like to thank his sons by making their dream of performing a Bollywood dance number come true.'

We've hired this dance studio in West London to put Sunny and Shyam through their paces.

They're going to meet with Bollywood choreographer extraordinaire Yinka Williams.

But this audition will be far from routine.

'Time for a quick change as I am transformed into Jorge, the choreographer's Spanish assistant.
