to congratulate you both on an incredible year. You played the

closing of the Olympics, the Queen's Jubb Lee. Let's start with

your record. Why are all these things crossed out? Who did this

writing? Peter Blake. He did suggest to us he wasn't mad on

doing album covers for bands... Even The Beatles? You didn't have

chance to change your mind in the '60s. The original title was Circus

Freaks and he was mid-way through a painting and we did change our mind.

That's a great title? What did you want? Men of Steel I was up for. We

had a plan of appearing in super man outfits. There is always

somebody in the band who poo-poos something. I didn't fancy the

tights. Are they sitting next to you? No. There's - it is very

difficult with a group to settle on a title. Without typecasting

ourselves, the demise of a good chap who ends up in the gutter.

Somebody said why do you want to show the machinations of the

indecisiveness of the band? There it is. You have ended up with Oui,

oui, si, si, da, da, does that have any meaning? We have some of the VT
