Larry Graham & Graham Central Station! One of the originators of

funk music. That's from his Raise Up LP. Speaking of originators and

legends, I have another one right here in the form of Jimmy Page. And

Led Zeppelin performed in 2007, after everybody kept begging you to

get back together and you made a DVD of that amazing one-off

performance. What was it that made you get back together? Well, Arnie

from Atlantic Records, he died and there was this call to have a

foundation really and there was a charity gig that was lined up to be

done at the O2. Originally they had asked us to do 20 minutes, but we

did two hours and 20 minutes, but so many other bands came along too

to support the charity. You must have thought such a lot of Ahmed to

do a gig, because everyone had been begging you for ages? We have come

together with Jason to play the Atlantic 40th, which was 20-

something years beforehand, so it was good to bet back together and

have a serious crack. You get the whole story. Jason must have

brought a different dimension to the group? Well, yes, he did. By my

estimation he had the hardest job of anybody there. We put a lot of

rehearsal into it and a lot of work, so we had a tight fit and so we

would go off on one tangent and another and the whole energy that

Jason had all the way through was phenomenal. We'll look a little. We

Amazing footage in there. Once you got back on stage and you were on

the stage did it feel like the same and like you were in a comfortable

place to be back in? It was the only gig we did. We didn't do any

warmups, so it was the only way we could gauge in front of the

audience and a lot of it, to be honest, it was very powerful on

stage. There were serious moments and you can catch that in this.

Even when we looked at this, we thought wow. It is captured on this.

Finally, I suppose 20 million people applied for tickets for that

show and you could only fit 20,000, only 20,000, but Led Zeppelin are

very, very popular. That's more people than this, more people

that's in my Big Band, unbelievably, or more than anybody I know, so

there are they to be disappointed, or is there likely to be another?

We are almost five years after the O2 concert and I must say that I

thought there might be some other sort of get-together for some

reason or another, but as the years tick by one year, two, three, four

and now almost five years, it doesn't look very little, does it?
