I think the Welsh Assembly has put its money where its mouth is.
What's really exciting in Wales was something that the Labour Assembly
felt very passionately about and made sure came into being
and that's Flying Start.
I think the Flying Start scheme is very important
for my sons are now going through,
and I think it's really important
that we maintain a very high standard of education
because that's the only way we open up doors for opportunities
for our next generation.
I think it's absolutely fantastic what the Welsh government is doing,
protecting students in Wales from these higher fees,
because they've seen what a boost it's been to the Welsh economy
and general wellbeing for young people in Wales
that they've had the chance, like me, to go to universities.
Through Jobs Growth Wales, they're creating opportunities for young people
and trying to make sure that when people finish university,
that there are jobs there for them.
I'm a passionate believer that health should be free.
Labour Assembly sees that prescriptions should be free for all
and it's just a further commitment to health and improving health.
I don't think we should underestimate just how important free bus passes are.
It's not just about travelling from A to B,
but it's about encouraging people to get out
and socialise and meet people.
Labour are delivering in Wales,
in health, though the challenges are huge,
they're committed through free prescriptions,
changing the ways that GP surgeries open to respond to people's needs.
They're responding to education, really delivering an education,
and are really showing the way, particularly in early years
and at the other end of the scale, to keeping tuition fees low.
