Fifth Round - Saturday The FA Cup

We started the weekend with 16 teams left in the FA Cup,

eight of them are on Match Of The Day for you.

Highlights of the first half of round five on the way.

We'll analyse it all in the company of Kevin Kilbane

and the Leicester City goalkeeper, Mark Schwarzer.

So Reading of the Championship went all the way to the FA Cup

semifinals last season, eventually losing out to Arsenal.

They've enjoyed the Cup this time round, too.

Premier League West Brom were at the Madejski Stadium,

Reading may be endearing a frustrating season in the

Championship, but they are at it again in the Cup. Victory today

would see them into the last eight for the fourth time in seven years.

West Brom have needed a replay to see of lower league opposition in

both rounds so far and are also aiming to reach the quarterfinals

for the second time running. A couple of changes for Reading,

Deniss Rakels, the Latvian international centre forward, makes

his first start for the club, while Simon Cox makes his second start of

the season. Matej Vydra, with six goals in the FA Cup, is on the

bench, returning from a hamstring injury. Tony Pulis has named a

strong West Brom side, Sandro comes back in, Chris Brunt makes

Reading certainly have been something of a bogey team for West

Brom in recent years, they have knocked them out three times in the

first half. You struggled to pick those out you could have had 20 or

sanctions by the club." We have not heard the end of

coming into Hull's strength, coming through the middle where Hull had

bodies, every time getting bodies around the ball, swarming the ball,

winning it back. It was quite easy for Hull, and Arsenal were lacking

in a number of areas. Hard when they are playing a back six. At times it

was like that, Dan, but what Arsenal were doing, continually playing to

their strengths, there is nobody in the box to get on the end of the

cross. That probably changed a bit when Giroud came on, but all Hull

did, got bodies back in numbers, trying to force them wide, knowing

they would have a reluctance to put the ball into the box from wide

areas. Time and again, they continued down the same path, the

same avenues, and going back to the point, quite easy for Hull.

Jakupovic was the star, we will show you his statistics. He has been

there for four years, only nine league appearances, but he did the

business, 11 saves, and you have picked out three. He was excellent,

11 saves against Arsenal, the most anyone has produced against Arsenal

this season. This was very good, down low with his foot, and then

this one, he got away with it a little bit, incredible save, but he

got away with it. As a goalkeeper, if you cannot see the ball, you have

to stay where you are. You think, if he gets it over the wall, hats off,

great strike. But he almost and does himself by going too far to the left

and exposing the angle of the corner where he should be saving. He

enjoyed watching it where he should be saving. He

screen! He certainly did, and this was the best save for me, positioned

very well, good strike, takes a deflection from Alex Bruce. At least

one deflection, if not two, and it is going to his left. At the last

second, because of the deflection, he has to throw his right hand

across and makes a fantastic save. Loved it at the end, going to his

daughter, he -- she wanted to go home, playing an iPad! Should

Arsenal have had two penalties? What you think? I think they should have

had at least one, the strike comes in, Alex Bruce leans towards the

ball. I feel that Mike Dean has got a good view of it, he is in a good

position, you can see that he sees the ball, he sees Alex Bruce leaning

towards the ball, that is a penalty. Clear penalty, like we were saying,

Leeds United fans are fed up with everyone saying how long
