we are into the final weekend of these 22nd Winter Olympics, the

:01:19.:02:00.

games which began against an uncertain backdrop but one which has

:02:01.:02:05.

enthralled as dazzled us. It's broken our hearts a little bit too.

:02:06.:02:12.

Winter sport has once again demonstrated its enduring appeal.

:02:13.:02:19.

So, for the penultimate time, every good afternoon and while the drains

:02:20.:02:22.

are going to a close, action continues apace. -- while the Games

:02:23.:02:27.

are drawing to a close. 62 nations are represented in the

:02:28.:02:35.

slalom. Orange is the new gold in speed

:02:36.:02:52.

skating. We pay our final visit to the Adler Arena. Can anyone stop the

:02:53.:02:55.

Dutch? This skier aims to make his mark in

:02:56.:03:09.

the BIOS on. If Norway takes gold, he will have a record ninth Olympic

:03:10.:03:10.

title. In terms of timings, the men's

:03:11.:03:22.

slalom will be first. Then the speed skating.

:03:23.:04:08.

I'm delighted that beans -- joined by Emma Carrigan. You having fun?

:04:09.:04:17.

Loving it. We are going to have a little review of the Alpine

:04:18.:04:20.

programme so far. Starting with the men's downhill. This is where Emma

:04:21.:04:27.

will get very smug! Nobody thought that my of Austria would win but you

:04:28.:04:31.

picked him beforehand. I just had a hunch. He's been getting through the

:04:32.:04:37.

winter more strongly. I thought I was going to go for him. Bode Miller

:04:38.:04:44.

had looked so good in all the trial runs. Everyone was talking about

:04:45.:04:47.

him. He got himself into a really good place after injury problems. It

:04:48.:04:53.

does didn't work for him. That was so hard. He won three out of the

:04:54.:04:57.

five runs. In training, he was perfect. His line was great, his

:04:58.:05:01.

position was great. When it came to the day, he didn't get the line

:05:02.:05:06.

right in the places he needs to. The other guy who disappointed across

:05:07.:05:08.

the games and has gone home early with problems. We talked about hay

:05:09.:05:15.

fever. It is Swindell, the Norwegian. He just missed out on

:05:16.:05:20.

bronze. He has been the man of the season and the big one to watch. He

:05:21.:05:25.

has pollen problems, allergies, and in the Olympic Village, there was a

:05:26.:05:29.

lot of dust around from all the building. He decided to go home

:05:30.:05:33.

early. Surprise in the men's downhill. Olympic history in the

:05:34.:05:38.

women's downhill. A dead heat. That was fantastic. I loved the shots of

:05:39.:05:41.

the girls, had standing, holding hands. I think it is the first time

:05:42.:05:48.

it has ever happened, that a gold has been taken by duathletes. It's

:05:49.:05:53.

incredible. She went on to win another gold in the giant slalom.

:05:54.:05:57.

She hasn't had the greatest form this season but she got it right

:05:58.:06:01.

here. She got it right here, that's for sure. That is the thing with

:06:02.:06:04.

racing, as soon as you start to get confident, but is it, you are off.

:06:05.:06:08.

She made a change with her coach offered to the season which changed

:06:09.:06:12.

things for her. Yes, she's had a fantastic Games. The men's Super-G

:06:13.:06:19.

now. What is it about this event and the Norwegians? They've won the last

:06:20.:06:23.

four. They seem to do very, very well. Part of it... They've

:06:24.:06:29.

obviously got great psychologists. You don't get the training runs like

:06:30.:06:32.

in downhill so you have to know exactly where you are going at each

:06:33.:06:36.

point on the Hill. They've also got great training hills because they

:06:37.:06:44.

had... Two great courses for Super-G. They nailed it here.

:06:45.:06:54.

Another dead heat for the bronze medal and finally Bode Miller got

:06:55.:07:02.

his bronze, didn't he? He got his bronze. He had tears at the finish.

:07:03.:07:05.

The tears were there for a few different reasons. He's had a pretty

:07:06.:07:11.

tough last year and a half. He has come back from his injury. He was

:07:12.:07:13.

maybe looking to have a better season than he has. For him to have

:07:14.:07:18.

a bronze in these Olympics is just brilliant. Now, it's the end of an

:07:19.:07:22.

era for him. He's going to move on for -- to other things. He's had

:07:23.:07:27.

such a great career and he will be sorely missed. He is a real

:07:28.:07:31.

character. He has six Olympic medals in total. Absolutely. He does break

:07:32.:07:38.

the rules. Racers can often follow the rules all the time and Bode

:07:39.:07:42.

Miller is happy to go his way. I think that is really refreshing to

:07:43.:07:47.

see. Onto the giant slalom and correct me if I'm wrong but I think

:07:48.:07:51.

the first run of Liggett he might have been the ski of the games. We

:07:52.:07:58.

said he was going to be the one to watch and the way he skis is just

:07:59.:08:02.

phenomenal. He goes for such big angles. The other guys are going for

:08:03.:08:06.

60 or city five degrees. He goes another 10 degrees. His skis are so

:08:07.:08:10.

far right that he can really tighten up that radius, the arc. That is

:08:11.:08:17.

what makes him just phenomenal. It is the length of the skills, isn't

:08:18.:08:21.

it? He was against it but he is the one who has changed his technique

:08:22.:08:27.

the best. That's the amazing thing. They have changed this shape of the

:08:28.:08:32.

skis. It used to be 27 metres. He said at the beginning you guys are

:08:33.:08:37.

going to destroy giant slalom for us because we will not be to carve the

:08:38.:08:41.

terms. He has just shown that he can and he blows it out of the water.

:08:42.:08:46.

It's fabulous to watch. Giant slalom is a difficult discipline to get

:08:47.:08:54.

right. He nails it. It has been a great Alpine programme. One skier

:08:55.:09:00.

got a lot of headlines. The jury seems to be out on whether Vanessa

:09:01.:09:06.

Mae should have come here or not. I'm sitting on the fence. If I had

:09:07.:09:11.

been in her position... What she does is incredible and she is so

:09:12.:09:16.

good at it. But she had this goal of coming to the Olympics and racing in

:09:17.:09:21.

the Olympics. In some ways, I think, good on her. But there are a lot of

:09:22.:09:24.

other races around that might look at it and think, stay with what you

:09:25.:09:28.

are so good at. She has been given this chance and has taken it. She

:09:29.:09:34.

enjoyed it, for sure. Let us know what you think on twitter. --

:09:35.:09:46.

Twitter. Let's look back to yesterday and a new American

:09:47.:09:47.

superstar. Shifrin is next to go and all the

:09:48.:09:55.

eyes of the American ski racing fans are on the teenager from Vail in

:09:56.:09:58.

Colorado. The coaches and parents said she

:09:59.:10:19.

could do 15 training runs a day. It has produced the finest racing we've

:10:20.:10:22.

seen for a long time. She is making it look easy. She absolutely is and

:10:23.:10:26.

it is not just the Americans that will be watching her. I reckon

:10:27.:10:29.

everybody wants to see what this young woman can do. She skis like

:10:30.:10:32.

she has no pressure on her shoulders. It's an outstanding run

:10:33.:10:36.

so far. No mistakes. The skis are driving through each turn. The upper

:10:37.:10:40.

body is relaxed and in front of her. She comes into this final steep

:10:41.:10:46.

section. Shifrin of the United States of America has really put one

:10:47.:10:50.

down here. The world champion, the World Cup champion leads the Olympic

:10:51.:10:57.

slalom first run. That is how to do it. She moves into first. We often

:10:58.:11:05.

see her with a second run like that but it's not often we see her put

:11:06.:11:08.

the hammer down like she did there. What a great run. The hip was almost

:11:09.:11:13.

on the ground. She was so low that it means she can get such great

:11:14.:11:20.

angles. Listening to commentary there. You are a fan, aren't you?

:11:21.:11:28.

Absolutely. She is another one who is in a league of her own. I

:11:29.:11:34.

definitely thought she would win the slalom. If she finished, she was

:11:35.:11:39.

going to be miles ahead. She made a big mistake in a second run but it

:11:40.:11:43.

didn't put her. A lot of other races would be put off. It just spurred

:11:44.:11:47.

her on to greatness. At 18 years old, it's incredible, because she is

:11:48.:11:53.

so calm and relaxed so focus. In terms of the men, we are looking at

:11:54.:11:58.

them getting ready to go. Here show took a body blow. Can he bounce

:11:59.:12:08.

back? -- Hirscher. It is probably his greatest discipline. He is in a

:12:09.:12:17.

league of his own. A quick word on the British skier. He is a starting

:12:18.:12:20.

number 35 which is much better than he would normally start. I had a

:12:21.:12:24.

quick chat with him and what he wants to do is break into the top 30

:12:25.:12:26.

after the first run. Good afternoon. Wellcome to the

:12:27.:12:41.

final day of the Olympic Alpine programme. We have British interest

:12:42.:12:46.

as Jonathan and Emma were just discussing, with David Ryding

:12:47.:12:52.

starting at number 35. Only two British athletes on the Alpine

:12:53.:12:57.

programme, Chemmy Alcott finished her Olympic career with 19th

:12:58.:13:01.

position in the downhill. David Ryding, the only other British

:13:02.:13:05.

competitor in the Alpine programme. There has been some talk that one or

:13:06.:13:09.

two others might have been given a chance, Dougie Crawford and another

:13:10.:13:18.

skier were not selected. David Ryding has a point to prove this

:13:19.:13:25.

afternoon. He is amongst a massive field of 117 racers. And the top 30

:13:26.:13:30.

will go in reverse order. Thinking about the favourites, for

:13:31.:13:43.

me it is a three horse race. Kristofferson from Norway, just 19

:13:44.:14:02.

years old, came through and announced himself with a win in the

:14:03.:14:12.

ninth slalom. 30,000 screaming Austrians and Hirscher had the lead

:14:13.:14:17.

but Kristofferson came down and won that race. Like a lot of the Swedish

:14:18.:14:31.

racers, lives in Monaco. He will open the racing.

:14:32.:14:38.

The first course set by one of the German coaches and he is the first

:14:39.:14:53.

to tackle it. It is a little bit of guesswork here for Andre Myhrer. A

:14:54.:15:00.

lot of rhythm changes in the course today. It is pretty steep all the

:15:01.:15:07.

way down. There is one section where it goes slightly less steep, we call

:15:08.:15:13.

it the flat section, even though it is not that flat. Lots of vertical

:15:14.:15:21.

gates. The course is set has two set lots of verticals in order to get

:15:22.:15:27.

the number of gates required. He is the seventh best of the season, the

:15:28.:15:33.

first to ski today and he really attacked it. 47.15, he looks happy.

:15:34.:15:43.

Let us see how that stands up. It has been a very long time since the

:15:44.:15:50.

Swedish racers have won and medal in the Alpine programme. You need to go

:15:51.:16:03.

back to 1988. Another Swede will go next. He is a different stylist to

:16:04.:16:11.

his team-mate. He will get hands down through these turns and

:16:12.:16:17.

immediately, his right-hand hits the snow. He has had a decent start. He

:16:18.:16:31.

is a lot busier with his hand is, gets twisted out of position. Three

:16:32.:16:45.

points of balance almost. Hargin skiing nicely. The Swedes have yet

:16:46.:16:51.

to score a medal in the Alpine programme at the Winter Games.

:16:52.:16:58.

Hargin is just behind his team-mate. It is the first run of the Men's

:16:59.:17:04.

slalom. Swedish bands in great numbers. Lots of skiers from the

:17:05.:17:09.

Women's programme have come to watch this. He fights to get forward. You

:17:10.:17:25.

have got to pull forward. The veteran Austrian. He was twice a

:17:26.:17:34.

world champion. Huge gaps between the wins. He has never really got it

:17:35.:17:44.

right on the Olympic Stadium. This is his only discipline. Can he get

:17:45.:17:50.

it right? And nice and neat start from Matt. His younger brother was

:17:51.:18:01.

in their ski cross. Matt is up by 14 hundredths. A good start for Matt.

:18:02.:18:10.

LaRue, crouched over his skis, add different style from Andre Myhrer.

:18:11.:18:17.

-- Lowell. Matt flies onto the final steep section. He recovers well, has

:18:18.:18:28.

he done enough to lead the way? Yes. A fabulous first run from Matt. He

:18:29.:18:36.

is showing the way. He is one of only four skiers who has won World

:18:37.:18:42.

Cup slalom this season. He has updated his technique. When he first

:18:43.:18:48.

burst onto the scene, he had a wide stance and now he has narrowed that

:18:49.:18:53.

stance. The skis have changed, they have become a lot more stable. 109

:18:54.:19:07.

my role next. Let us see what he can produce. -- 109 Mac. -- Marcel

:19:08.:19:28.

Hirscher. Not such a good start from Marcel Hirscher. He twisted slightly

:19:29.:19:38.

as he goes on to the smaller section. He is a bit off the pace.

:19:39.:19:44.

He is likely to be the slowest of the starters so far if it stays like

:19:45.:19:50.

this that he finishes, he will have to come from behind a charge in the

:19:51.:19:59.

second run Andre Myhrer leads. Marcel Hirscher is fourth. That is

:20:00.:20:06.

an massive shock. This is the man who has revolutionised slalom

:20:07.:20:11.

skiing, the world champion. What on earth went wrong with Marcel

:20:12.:20:19.

Hirscher? No emotion showing from him, he will have to consider his

:20:20.:20:35.

next move. Andre Myhrer leads. Next to go, Henrik Kristoffersen. He is

:20:36.:20:50.

19 years old. I love the way he skis, he has taken Marcel Hirscher,

:20:51.:20:58.

his technique and made it his own revolutionised certain sections, he

:20:59.:21:01.

is down at the intermediate time, so I guess that is not working. He is

:21:02.:21:11.

swinging his arms, it is not textbook slalom skiing. He is

:21:12.:21:20.

behind, Henrik Kristoffersen into the last six turns and a bit of

:21:21.:21:25.

extra yardage under his ski bases and he is a little way off. There is

:21:26.:21:32.

are leader, Matt holding the top spot. Andre Myhrer is second. These

:21:33.:21:42.

guys are used to racing on blue eyes, bullet-proof eyes and the snow

:21:43.:21:47.

conditions here, they are a little bit softer -- ice. It has caught out

:21:48.:22:16.

two of the favourites. Next to come, Thaler. Matt has lifted the bar, can

:22:17.:22:26.

anyone respond and match the Austrian? The Italians took a

:22:27.:22:34.

surprise when last time-out. Thaler has got a tidy and neat technique.

:22:35.:22:39.

He will not be risking much with the line. He should not lose too much

:22:40.:22:53.

time. Might just be good enough. We have a 34-year-old leading, a

:22:54.:22:58.

35-year-old in trouble and out and down and it is over for Thaler. It

:22:59.:23:06.

seems to me that this course is suiting the old school technique,

:23:07.:23:12.

the distance and the offset, no matter how much the course turns

:23:13.:23:17.

from side to side is not very much. You need more up and down movement,

:23:18.:23:22.

you need your feet close together, the body angles you create are less

:23:23.:23:28.

important and what is important is speed of movement and skiing close

:23:29.:23:49.

to the gates. Next to go, Felix Neureuther. He is in trouble at the

:23:50.:23:59.

first section. He has recovered. He likes the conditions to be slightly

:24:00.:24:06.

softer, he can ski in all kinds of snow, he can ski on ice as well. He

:24:07.:24:14.

is called the cat because he is so relaxed on his skis. He did not get

:24:15.:24:19.

the best introduction to the Games, he was a late arrival and crashed

:24:20.:24:26.

his car in Bavaria he was in hospital for a while. It looks like

:24:27.:24:31.

he has put that behind him, and nice smooth finish. He will go close

:24:32.:24:57.

enough. The mother of Felix Neureuther was a double Olympic

:24:58.:25:08.

champion herself in 1976. So, let us see how the old men do now. He is 34

:25:09.:25:27.

years old. It is Ivica Kostelic. He has never won Olympic gold. This is

:25:28.:25:33.

messy. He has not had a great season. I cannot see him doing

:25:34.:25:41.

anything in the slalom but this kind of skiing. Come on to the flats,

:25:42.:25:54.

Ivica Kostelic looks a bit more comfortable, but as he emerges onto

:25:55.:26:01.

the steep final pitch, he is two seconds off the pace of Matt. Ivica

:26:02.:26:09.

Kostelic is more than two seconds down. Slowest of the finishers so

:26:10.:26:15.

far, disappointment for the Croatian fans. Next up, back with the

:26:16.:26:38.

Germans, it is 64. Start numbers are having a massive effect. This

:26:39.:26:58.

course, although it is in reasonable shape, considering the temperatures

:26:59.:27:05.

we have had, it is not as firm as World Cup courses would be. It will

:27:06.:27:10.

not hold up as well for the later starters. In fact, it is hard to see

:27:11.:27:17.

anyone getting a time close to that of Matt. 64 is in sixth position.

:27:18.:27:27.

Quite big gaps between first and seventh, there is room for the later

:27:28.:27:33.

starters to claim a place in the top 30. That is what counts. A chance to

:27:34.:27:44.

start early in the second run. The second run will be very different.

:27:45.:27:53.

Here is the French athlete, can he do some damage? Sometimes he can be

:27:54.:28:01.

a little bit shaky. This is OK from Alexis Pinturault. He is in touch

:28:02.:28:12.

here. He hooked his hand on the bottom of the gate which span him

:28:13.:28:16.

off slightly. He was on the edge of control. Sitting back, ever so

:28:17.:28:26.

slightly, he is in trouble. The French have plenty of chances, they

:28:27.:28:30.

have the former world champion coming later, Alexis Pinturault has

:28:31.:28:35.

to force the skis through the turn. He is fifth, that is not bad

:28:36.:28:42.

considering the mistakes. Alexis Pinturault is fifth, not bad at all.

:28:43.:28:52.

He is in front of Marcel Hirscher. It is going to be a different kettle

:28:53.:28:58.

of fish altogether. There is the hand hooked on the under gate. You

:28:59.:29:10.

suddenly have these quicker gates that come after you, you have to

:29:11.:29:27.

move your feet fast. He is an experienced man, at the age of 35, a

:29:28.:29:45.

few World Cup wins under his belt. The He is usually a clean skier,

:29:46.:29:52.

Herbst. He is making very few mistakes. With the top five

:29:53.:29:59.

separated by more than a second, there is certainly room for one of

:30:00.:30:04.

these racers starting from ten to 15 to come in and get involved but not

:30:05.:30:11.

Herbst. Not tonight. He is out. Look how close he was. The red line is

:30:12.:30:15.

the finishing line. That is how far he got before he fell. Just too much

:30:16.:30:21.

weight on the inside ski, not keeping the weight out over the

:30:22.:30:24.

outside ski. When that inside ski slips away, there is no safety net.

:30:25.:30:26.

Mario Matt the best of them. Frustration for the Austrian

:30:27.:30:43.

coaches. Next to go, former world champion, Grange from France. He has

:30:44.:30:58.

a massive fan club, right in front of our commentary box. They have

:30:59.:31:05.

made the journey from the French Apple -- Alps. He is on his way. At

:31:06.:31:15.

one time, Grange was one of the best slalom skiers in the world. He was

:31:16.:31:22.

very, very keen. He is back now, in the top 15. Look at this. He is

:31:23.:31:30.

right in touch, Grange. He appears to have the measure of the top half

:31:31.:31:35.

of this course. He hits the flats. Good acceleration. Again, it is

:31:36.:31:41.

suiting the old school technique. He is clean, no big mistakes.

:31:42.:31:47.

29-year-old Frenchman, onto the final pitch now. If he stays on his

:31:48.:31:53.

feet, he will not be far away. John Baptiste Grange, excellent. He gives

:31:54.:32:01.

himself a good chance of skiing for a medal in the second run. See how

:32:02.:32:10.

close his feet are, in on the polls. The difference between fact and

:32:11.:32:18.

Hirscher all Kristofferson... They go for big angles to try and

:32:19.:32:23.

generate speed. That works when you have a big offset but we don't have

:32:24.:32:26.

that today. The snow conditions don't allow you to get so much

:32:27.:32:31.

pressure on the ski. One of the Japanese race is going through his

:32:32.:32:32.

warm up routine. He is 35 years of age now, Raich

:32:33.:32:53.

and, in his final Olympic event. Well, both Raich Matt and -- Raich

:32:54.:33:01.

and Matt went to the same school. And he sends his skis either side of

:33:02.:33:23.

the control gate. Raich's illustrious Olympic career ends

:33:24.:33:30.

right there. He set up too early in on the gate. He was trying to come

:33:31.:33:35.

to much from behind and his inside ski hooked in above the gate.

:33:36.:33:49.

The Austrians have the lead. Mario Matt. Next to go, the next of the

:33:50.:34:05.

Swedes. It is Markus Larsson. He is 35 years of age.

:34:06.:34:21.

How close is Larsson here? He has never really looked a clean skier.

:34:22.:34:32.

He has always been on the edge of control. He's got very long levers

:34:33.:34:36.

and sometimes they go in different directions, shall we say? In the

:34:37.:34:44.

second run in 2002, when Alan Baxter came from eighth after the first run

:34:45.:34:48.

to take the bronze medal... Although he only held at temporarily. Larsson

:34:49.:34:57.

was in that race. The other one that was also in that race was cost of

:34:58.:35:08.

edge. -- Costavich. That was 12 years ago. These guys are still out

:35:09.:35:13.

there racing. Larsson has just skied into eighth position.

:35:14.:35:18.

David Ryan -- David Ryding skiing for Great Britain tonight, he will

:35:19.:35:23.

ski with bib number 35. Moelgg is on his way. Not a bad

:35:24.:35:44.

start. He has found his line. Early rhythm. It is tough out there

:35:45.:35:50.

already. There is quite a rut forming around the racing line. This

:35:51.:35:56.

is setting up nicely for a second run. The guys that skied had the

:35:57.:36:01.

advantage of skiing early on the first run, starting numbers one, two

:36:02.:36:07.

and three. They are all placed one, two and three. It is all going to

:36:08.:36:08.

change. Moelgg is ninth. That's all right.

:36:09.:36:30.

The Italian supporters are happy with what they've seen. At least

:36:31.:36:35.

they've got a man in the finish. They've also got the defending

:36:36.:36:40.

champion coming up later, who starts at number 22. He won the gold four

:36:41.:36:49.

years ago in Vancouver. At the moment, it is Matt's race.

:36:50.:37:02.

They are beautifully set for the second run. We have three who have

:37:03.:37:14.

failed to finish, including Herbst of Austria. Here is the man who has

:37:15.:37:18.

set the pace. It is Mario Matt from Austria. He is one of the oldest and

:37:19.:37:24.

so far the quickest. But still one of the most powerful men on the

:37:25.:37:29.

slalom tour. That is what has kept him at the top of his game for so

:37:30.:37:37.

long. They are queueing up at the top. It is a massive queue. It's

:37:38.:37:43.

makes all the way up the mountain. 117 are due to start the first run.

:37:44.:37:59.

Next to go will be Ted who has already claimed a goal. -- gold. He

:38:00.:38:10.

is going to have to do something tasty to match the top times.

:38:11.:38:22.

They get the rakes and shovels out to try and repair and make it

:38:23.:38:30.

fairer. I cannot see this course is suiting Ted. It's too steep and too

:38:31.:38:35.

long. There is not enough offset. Let's see how he goes. He is out of

:38:36.:38:41.

the gate and into the pattern of gates for the final event of the

:38:42.:38:46.

games, the slalom. See how his feet are slightly further away from the

:38:47.:38:50.

gates and he is trying to turn and generate speed by skiing around a

:38:51.:38:52.

line. -- a rounder line. He showed everybody how to win an

:38:53.:39:12.

Olympic title with some sensational skiing. This is confident looking

:39:13.:39:17.

skiing from him. He is within eight tenths of the lead. Not bad at all.

:39:18.:39:21.

If you can stay on his feet and finish, he will not be far away from

:39:22.:39:26.

Mario Matt. He has skied well. He is fifth. That is a great ski. Just

:39:27.:39:32.

about the best slalom performance of his season so far. I eat my hat on

:39:33.:39:36.

that one. It goes to show, when you've got a medal, how much easier

:39:37.:39:43.

the Olympic Games becomes. That is the bar -- best slalom skiing I've

:39:44.:39:47.

seen from him all season. It's on a course which should not have suited

:39:48.:39:52.

his style Rhys -- really. But he had no mistakes at all. That is his

:39:53.:39:59.

ultra-calve celebration of the finish. Don't try this at home. What

:40:00.:40:13.

a run! That is encouraging for the later starters, especially those

:40:14.:40:17.

starting after the next time out, the next course repair. Gross is

:40:18.:40:24.

next to go. The 27-year-old Italian. He is the best of the Italians --

:40:25.:40:33.

the best of the Italians is Moelgg at the moment.

:40:34.:40:40.

I always find with Gross, that he drops his hand so low, it, for me,

:40:41.:40:48.

puts the weight onto the back of the skis.

:40:49.:40:54.

How close is Gross? Pretty good. He seems to be making the most of this

:40:55.:41:05.

pattern of gates, which has been said by one of the German coaches.

:41:06.:41:12.

Stefano Gross hasn't made any major mistakes and he is third. How about

:41:13.:41:14.

that from number 17? Just a reminder of the standings

:41:15.:41:28.

here.
