-Alan Jones is one of the best

-batters Wales has ever seen.

-with Glamorgan in 1957.

-He went on to score over 40,000 runs

-and was a part of the team...

-..when they won the 1969

-English County Championship.

-Alan also captained

-during the 1977 and 1978 seasons.

-His final game was in 1983,

-before pursuing a coaching position.

-He continued as a director of

-coaching until his retirement.

-Since 1 April, Alan is the president

-My life has been centred

-I was lucky to enter the first team

-..after I'd left the armed forces.

-since the start of the month.

-the president for Glamorgan.

-I've been a player

-and coach for the team.

-It's quite humbling for me

-to be the president.

-My wife is also proud of this fact.

-The Welsh feel that Glamorgan

-Anglesey Sea Zoo is our jellyfish.

-These are called moon jellyfish due

-to the circular shapes on the top.

-They're quite common in Britain

-and aren't dangerous at all.

-We've now reached

-our seahorse aquariums.

-They're integral for our

-breeding and preservation programme.

-Our latest addition

-is the long-snouted seahorse.

-We work hard to care for them

-and also breed them.

-In the future, we hope to

-release them into the wild.

-Finally,

-we've arrived at the lumpsuckers.

-The Welsh term for them

-is 'iar mor'.

-They're interesting fish

-with large suckers on their bellies.

-They inhabit cold waters such as

-the Arctic, Antarctic and Pacific.

-They migrate to Britain

-to breed from April to September.

-You may be lucky enough to spot them

-swimming around the British Isles.

-You can visit the zoo between

-the hours of 10.00am and 4.45pm.

-businesses has reached a milestone.

-One of the island's famous femmes

-was there to mark the event.

-Sometimes, I'm invited

-Today is a momentous day for

-the Anglesey company, Morgan Evans.

-This well-established business

-is opening its brand-new offices.

-Morgan Evans opened his business

-opposite the new home in 1964...

-..at this office

-on the corner of Glandwr Road.

-The business grew

-and became a success.

-I established the company having

-worked for a long-standing company.

-I felt there was an opportunity

-for someone else to intervene.

-We sold property, land and farms.

-The company also evolved into

-the world of livestock auctions.

-Gaerwen was the perfect location

-to hold auctions.

-Morgan Evans was also

-a distinguished auctioneer.

-Over at the mart, a busy team

-ensure everything runs perfectly.

-The auction mart was established

-by Morgan Evans in 1964...

-..and is the year that I was born.

-We sell furniture, cars, antiques,

-carpets, machinery and tractors...

-..including poultry

-- live or dead we sell it!

-There are around 30 staff members

-at the Gaerwen and Llangefni sites.

-I came here fresh out of school and

-have worked here for over 33 years.

-How often do you come here?

-We visit here on a weekly basis.

-It's the only half day we get!

-Do you come here often?

-I've never missed a Tuesday

-in 50 years.

-It's very busy today, Morys.

-Yes, it's incredibly busy

-and there's plenty of cattle.

-It's the only livestock auction on

-the island and it means a lot to us.

-Are you ready? One, two, three...

-The company continually evolves

-and it's a new chapter for them.

-It's also welcoming

-its first female auctioneer.

-I'm incredibly proud to be the first

-female auctioneer for Morgan Evans.

-You don't see a lot

-of females in this role.

-I started working for Morgan Evans

-at the age of 14 in the mart.

-I enjoy this line of work

-and have been very fortunate.

-I've known Morgan Evans from his

-days on Lleyn and Sarn Mellteyrn.

-He worked as a clerk

-for another company.

-When I arrived on Anglesey,

-Morgan Evans opened his business.

-Today, he's opening new offices

-where everywhere else is closing.

-I raise my hat to him.

-Dad established this company

-on his own many years ago.

-He continues to cast his eye

-over the business.

-We aim to continue

-for another 50 years.

-Today saw the launch of a new

-youth Welsh language channel.

-Pump is a new online channel

-that will appeal to everyone.

-Everyone is familiar

-Most people go to YouTube

-There isn't much Welsh content

-available on the website.

-The purpose of Pump

-is to fill the gap...

-..and include quality monthly

-We have five different strands.

-One of those is spending 24 hours
