-The fifth stage took place today.

-at the Fanzone in Aberystwyth.

-in the hope that we reach the final.

-Our national football team are about

-to play the most significant...

-..ninety minutes of football in the

-sport's history in Wales.

-The Welsh language has enjoyed

-three weeks in the spotlight.

-This week, thousands of people are

-taking part in a special race...

-..across three days to promote

-the language.

-The race returns for the first time

-since its launch back in 2014.

-The language baton

-will travel across Wales...

-..and take in 24 towns and villages

-over three regions in three days...

-..and hopefully finish in Llandeilo.

-Bangor was handed the honour

-of launching the procession.

-The idea came from the

-Basque country and Brittany.

-It was held in Ceredigion

-two years ago.

-People are having fun

-- is that what it's all about?

-It's about speaking Welsh

-and having fun at the same time.

-We've had great fun

-and raised some money.

-In September, we'll offer grants

-to support Welsh activities.

-I think it's important to hold

-the race.

-There are thousands of people out

-representing Wales in Europe.

-Ross, you're one of the learners

-taking part - what motivated you?

-I wanted to help and to

-see everyone running this morning.

-How important is it to you

-that you've learnt Welsh?

-It's very important as I have three

-children who are fluent.

-I want to be able to chat to people

-locally and be part of the community

-I like speaking Welsh.

-We've reached Bethesda and completed

-the second stage.

-I'm already sweating pints!

-I'll need a lot of luck to reach the

-finishing line at Machynlleth.

-# We won't stop

-until we reach the end #

-Sion asked me two years ago

-to write a motivational anthem.

-and it's got plenty of oomph.

-our passion for the Welsh language.

-we're proud to be Welsh.

-Yes, we live in Wales so it's

-important to promote the language.

-He's just 26 years old

-but very mature.

-If Chris Frome has an accident,

-Geraint Thomas is the plan B.

-He is a very strong cyclist.

-He did the mountain stage today

-and had a great ride.

-He should end up

-This is the biggest bike race

-if I'll ever take part.

-It's an incredible feat of strength.

-We're lucky to have two Welshmen

-taking part.

-There is a third Welsh cyclist

-looking promising for next year.

-His name is Owain Doull.

-after the Olympic Games.

-We're breeding stars of the future.

-Tonight, we're live

-at the Fanzone in Aberystwyth...

-..ahead of tonight's semi-final

-match in Euro 2016...

-Lowri Steffan is one of the

-organizers of tonight's Fanzone.

-This is the first time this Fanzone

-has been set up.

-A few of us come up with the same

-idea so we used social media...

-..and three days later,

-it's all set up!

-It's at the rugby club as the

-football club is being renovated.

-It's great that the rugby club have

-welcomed us in.

-I'm joined by Emlyn Jones.

-The local children wanted to go

-to Cardiff but it was too far.

-We decided to set something up

-locally.

-Owain Schiavone is an avid supporter

-of the Welsh football team.

-The hard-core fans

-are all in France.

-Some of us haven't been able to go.

-I have seen four games

-so that's not too bad.

-This is a great way

-to bring the community together.

-We are all so proud of the team

-and it's a great atmosphere.

-The team has given us a real boost.

-My son had no interest in football

-but now they know all the names...

-..of the players in the team.

-He and his friends are playing

-football.

-famous castle on the club's wall.

-The committee decided that

-our main hall needed decorating.

-We'd worked with Ifor Bach before

-on the wall of our television room.

-I'd worked on the wall

-of pictures of musicians...

-..and did the picture of the castle

-and all the celebrities.

-I did twelve sketches

-of both A4 and A3 size.

-I started at the end of April

-and finished in late May.

-It was a black wall so they painted

-it white and I drew the castle...

-..and painted it using charcoal

-and watercolour.

-We're situated in Caernarfon and

-Wales is doing well in the Euros...

-..so we thought Caernarfon Castle

-was the ideal subject for the mural.

-Those watching the entertainment on

-Saturday night or any other night...

-..can see the castle

-that is so close to our hearts.

-The Wales team is doing well

-and could reach the final...

-..so thought of doing a sketch

-of the Welsh team of A6 size...

-..to hang on the wall

-during each game.

-I can go for two days

-without touching a pencil...

-..but as soon as I pick it up,

-I'll sketch every night...

-..after having a cuppa and a smoke.

-I do it in my own time.
