is she's going to get up here and just freeze.

So, Jorja, Steph, we're finally here in Hull at Radio 1's Big Weekend.

You're going to be performing on that Main Stage.

I'm really nervous because this is my first festival

and I'm singing on the Main Stage,

so that also puts a little bit of pressure on me, as well.

How have things changed for you since you won the final?

Well, a lot of people, when I'm out shopping,

take pictures with me - and they always come up to me

and ask if I was on Got What It Takes.

Steph, you fought so hard to get Jorja in this position today.

How big of an opportunity is that?

Well, I tried my very best in all the challenges,

and this is a challenge for Jorja and I think she'll do her very best.

She's going to smash it.

This is such a crazy thing for Jorja

because it's one of the biggest festivals in the country

and Jorja's performing at it.

When 15-year-old Jorja arrived in the Music Mansion,

she made a big impression with her huge vocal range...

..but she wasn't the only talented teen

hoping to walk away with the prize...

I think my biggest competition in the music mansion was Evan.

# Take that money Watch it burn

# Sink in the river The lessons I've learned... #

He had such a big personality, which is really opposite to me.

..but luckily Jorja had some serious backup,

in the form of her Olympian mum.

My mum was really competitive in the Music Mansion.

The Olympic mind-set is there,

I'm hoping the Olympic body of old will help me through.

My funniest moment was when she jumped into the pit

and then she lifted the carrot up, and she just looked so funny!

Jorja took to the stage in five incredible Sing-Offs

in the Music Mansion...

Performing in front of the mums during the Sing-Offs

was really nerve-racking,

because they were each looking for different things

and you wanted to try and please them all.

I think you're a fabulous singer, Jorja. I loved it.

..but it was in the series semifinals

when she showed off what she was really capable of.

# Why can't I kiss you on the dance floor...? #

Singing in the recording studio was such a great experience

because it gave me an insight to what it would be like

to be a pop star.

Congratulations, Jorja, you're through!

I was so emotional when I found out I was in the final

because I would have been devastated if I had been told otherwise.

I'm so happy.

In the grand final, Jorja performed twice,

in front of a studio audience and a panel of industry experts...

That could very well be the performance

that wins you this whole competition.

..before the winner was finally announced.

It's Jorja.

When Lauren called out by name,

it was the best feeling ever

because I felt like I'd achieved such a great accomplishment.

In Hull, Jorja will be performing on the huge Main Stage.

How amazing is this?

It's incredible.

The gates are yet to open to the public,

but it's already a scary experience.

You're going to be performing in front of thousands of people

right on this stage.

-Are you excited?

-That's so weird.

Like, I never, ever thought that that would be something I'd ever do.

Because it's broad daylight,

I'm going to see the whites of everybody's eyes

and that might make me a bit more nervous -

but hopefully it won't put me off.

I think you've just got to stay as calm as you can.

Nerves are good - it shows that you really care about your performance,

and don't worry about all the people that are in the audience.

I know that's really easy to say

but get yourself in your own little zone.

This is your stage, you'll be the only one up here,

and just do what you do best, which is singing.

So, Jorja's just about to go on stage for her sound check.

I think she's a little bit nervous...

Standing on the stage myself, I feel so tiny,

so the biggest thing I'm worried about with Jorja

is she's just going to get up here and just freeze.

But the sound check seems to have put Jorja at ease.

It went really well and I felt really comfortable on the stage

and all my nerves disappeared.

Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Steph.

So what, are you actually going to take that off the stand

-when you're doing Secret Love Song?

-No, I'm keeping it on the stand.

-Yeah?

-Yeah.

-Yeah?

I'm trying to stay chilled for Jorja's sake.

If I start getting all nervous and panicky,

then that will just pass on to her and I don't want that.

Does it need to be in there for you to do all your high notes?

-Or will you take it...?

-Preferably.

As part of her preparation for the Big Weekend,

Jorja has been fine-tuning her performances

with our music maestro David Tench.

This is such a big opportunity for Jorja.

I'm so proud of her.

-How are you?

-Good, thank you.

-Are you feeling excited?

Yeah, but still a bit nervous,

cos I haven't really sung in front of an audience that big,

so I don't really know what to expect.

What scares you about it?

Singing in front of 20,000 people and making a mistake.

Jorja's sharing the stage with some amazing artists at the weekend.

She just needs to believe in herself a bit more.

# Baby, I wrote a song about you last night... #

When Jorja sang the MNEK song,

she sounded fantastic on it - but it was just too low for too long.

You know you do the first verse, you do the pre,

can't you come up for that first chorus?

Um...

So, what I tried to do was get her to sing up a little bit more,

so get that first chorus up an octave and really sing out.

I can't... I can't already go into that, the high bit,

because then when I come back down it's going to sound really croaky.

Listen, I don't want to make you do something you don't want to do,

you can leave it how it is,

but everyone's going to be thinking this song is too low for you.

They're not going to know what you've got coming at the end.

It's really risky, changing the song,

because it's really last-minute.

I'm scared that I'm going to completely lose where I am

and there's not going to be anybody there to pick me back up again.

What do you think about this risk?

I think she should try here -

try, and if it feels good, she should do it.

Jorja can sometimes be really nervous and shy

about trying new things

but that's what it is to be an artist.

So let's go from that same place at the verse...

The Little Mix ladies definitely know how to work the stage...

..but that's not something that comes naturally to Jorja.

So, this is obviously a really, really big performance for you.

Do you reckon you're going to get up there and dance?

No, not dance.

I'm doing a lot of movement, though, to what I would normally do.

I can be worried that I'm going to say the wrong thing

or do the wrong thing, so I like to play it safe.

You've been working with Kevin on your stage performance.

How has that been going?

I think that's been going really well,

and he's helped me out so much -

and now I feel really confident

that I'm going to give a really good performance.

To help Jorja get ready for the Main Stage,

she's been training with our games guru Kevin Adams,

who's also a legendary choreographer.

Jorja has an amazing voice, but before the Big Weekend,

we need to bring out her performance.

We need to raise her up and make her realise

that she's not in her bedroom any more,

she's actually performing in front of tens of thousands of people.

Kevin's going to be helping me with my stage presence

and my movement on the stage and also talking...

YEAH!

First up is a crash course

in working the stage.

Remember to start relaxed.

Start still then build to performance.

Gears. First gear, second gear, third gear, fourth gear, fifth gear.

You want to end in fifth gear.

When you're onstage as an artist,

if you stand in one position and the song is not a ballad,

it becomes too static.

Tell me what kind of look you've gone for here.

This is a '70s-inspired jumpsuit

with gold detailing and gold jewellery,

and I really like it because it's different

to what I would usually wear.

So I hear you had a bit of help putting this outfit together.

What was it like being styled for Radio 1's Big Weekend?

It was such a cool experience,

because it gave me a flavour of what my life could be like.

Well, I love your look, Jorja.

It's such a, like, cool performance outfit -

and, to be perfectly honest, I don't think I could imagine you

in, like, a pretty, frilly dress up there.

I think this is more you.

To help style Jorja for her performance,

who has worked with stars like Gary Barlow and Little Mix.

It's super important to have a strong look as a pop star

because it's your whole image, it's like your whole brand.

is a fantastic look, so you feel totally comfortable

and it's got to make everyone remember you

and remember your performance.

-What's your style?

-Nothing too bright or, like, really bold.

Steph, tell me, what do you like to see Jorja in?

I like bold colours. I...

Jorja's first outfit is a '90s-inspired grungy look

with a grey T-shirt dress and black choker.

Yeah, I really like this one.

I feel really comfortable in it and it's close to my style.

It's something you would wear every day, though, Jorja,

not on the big stage.

Grey dress was quite dull,

but it was a typical, what Jorja would wear.

I was not so mad about that outfit

because I didn't think it showed her to her potential.

She could've just been walking to the shops in that.

You look wicked!

Amazing.

Jorja's second look is completely out there.

A silver catsuit with a sequined cape

and cool mirrored shades.

I think you look amazing.

You look like a pop star, you've got that stage presence.

It's not something that I would usually go for.

You meet people in this industry all the time -

so, what should I do to build on my career?

If you're going to start a career, then this is the place to start it -

and the fact that you're doing it at 15,

it's a great, fantastic start for you. Right, Cel?

I couldn't do it. No way.

Sing all you can, perform all you can.

Don't turn down any gig, cos the more that you can do now,

the better a position you're going to be in in the future.

It isn't an easy ride but if you do put those graft hours in,

you will reap the rewards.

I think hard work is key.

Another young singer who is rocking the Main Stage in Hull

is 19-year-old Swedish pop megastar Zara Larsson.

How excited are you right now?

Really excited!

First, American rock sensations Imagine Dragons.

In the series, Jorja actually sung Radioactive, by you guys, of course,

in one of the sing-offs, and she absolutely smashed it.

-Jorja, did you win that sing-off?

How big of a deal do you think that is?

I think our first festival was about 25 people we were playing for,

-so...we kind of started...

-If you play some shows and it's five people,

like, you know, it should be just as amazing and intense

as, you know, 50,000 people.

You've just got to get up there and be super confident

and authentically yourself.

Yeah, it's a big experience at 15 to do this.

I've been wanting to do this for, I don't know,

20 years, or something, so, congratulations.

Have you got any tips for performing in front of a big crowd?

What I used to make the mistake of doing

is focusing on trying to do everything,

trying to entertain people, trying to sound good -

I think if you just begin by making sure that you sound good

and then the rest will all kind of fall into place.

Just enjoy it. Just going to be fun,

the crowd seem like they're really up for it

and I'm sure it's going to be great.

So, this is it. After months of battling it out

in the Music Mansion,

Jorja is about to perform on the Main Stage

of one of the biggest UK music events...

I don't think she realises how big of an opportunity this is for her.

I am worried that she's done so much practice on her movement

and her stage presence

that when she gets up there and sees all those people,

then it's all going to go out the window.
