Hello and welcome to the Got What It Takes? Grand Final.

For the last ten weeks,

these eight talented young singers have been battling it out for

a very unique prize,

the chance to perform on the main stage at Radio 1's Big Weekend.

It really is the opportunity of a lifetime,

but only one of them will get to walk away with the ultimate gig.

But who's going to be? Let's hear it for Brook, Ellie, Erin,

Evan, Jorja, Kellimarie, Kyra and Luka.

And of course let's not forget their biggest fans,

who have been behind them every step of the way, it's the mums.

And there's even a few familiar faces in the audience -

it's the stars of series one.

After eight nail-biting Sing-Offs, it was Evan who won the fast pass to

the Grand Final, but for the other seven it wasn't so easy.

Last week, they all had to perform for the public vote

and earlier we found out the results.

I just think, like, meeting people here and seeing stuff

and, like, being in a house with them for ages and all that,

Today, each one of our finalists will be performing two songs in

front of a panel of music industry experts

who will decide who gets to perform at Radio 1's Big Weekend.

Our first judge is one member of a superstar boyband who shot to

fame on X Factor and has had a top-ten album.

It's Jaymi Hensley from Union J.

Jaymi, you know what it's like to perform to stay in a competition.

Have you got any tips for our kids today?

It's such a pressure cooker being in a singing competition

but now is the time to really fight for it.

That prize and that opportunity is right there in touching

distance and this is when it counts most.

I totally agree.

Our second judge looks after some of the biggest names

in the industry, including Stormzy and Bruno Mars.

It's Rachel Campbell from Atlantic Records.

Rachel, you work with some really big names in the industry.

What are you looking for today?

Somebody with an amazing stage presence and there's nothing

more enjoyable than seeing somebody who totally kind of owns the

stage and is extremely confident.

And our final judge, who is representing the people who

have made this prize possible, Radio 1 superstar DJ MistaJam.

top of their game are the ones that are on the main stage,
