Today, for the semifinal,

we've come to London and a world-famous music venue.

Metropolis Studios is the place where global superstars like Adele,

Jess Glynne, Rihanna and Ellie Goulding have all come

to record their hits.

Oh, my gosh, it's so cool. Rihanna's been in here.

So, I'm here in the studio. Luke, the guitarist, is here behind me.

So weird that I'm in the same studio that Adele has been in.

So, I can't believe I'm here, it's like so nice. It's so cool.

It looks lovely.

I can't wait to sing into this very mic over here.

It's amazing. I would love to do this when I'm older.

Hopefully, this is the start of something.

I know exactly what it's like to face the public vote.

It can be really, really horrible but if you do want to make it

in the industry, that's exactly who you've got to impress.

When you're singing to the public, you have to remember that

they are the ones voting for you, not the mums this time.

It's nothing to do with them.

And you have to make them think that YOU deserve to be there.

-How have you been preparing?

-I've sort of being doing a few, like,

performances in front of my family,

cos obviously this time it's going to be in front of an audience.

Can you imagine Evan winning the show and performing at Big Weekend?

It is quite a tough competition, they're all so fabulous.

But, yes, I can. He did say at one point, if he won,

he'd like to have dancers. So, I was a bit like, "Whoa!"

So, Evan, do you have any final words for the others?

-All I can say is good luck.

Now the fate of the seven remaining singers is in your hands.

Today, they will each perform one song and, at the end of the show,

you'll have just 24 hours to vote for the singer you think deserves to

join Evan.

The three with the highest votes will qualify for the final.

We'll give you all the details you need later on in the show.

But before we get started, games guru Kevin Adams

has met up with the mums to draw for the order of performances.

My advice to you would be maintain their level of calm.

The mums must be feeling really nervous because there is

nothing they can do.

'Each singer will be performing a song they've picked themselves.

'And accompanying them is our music maestro, David Tench,

'who will be playing on a rather famous piano.'

So, David, this is it, the semifinals. It's beautiful in here.

This is the place where so many artists have recorded their

hit records.

In fact, this piano here was performed on by Adele.

They are really lucky.

What do you think they need to do to win over the public?

Well, I think at this stage everybody just has to be unique.

All they have to concentrate on is being themselves.

I am quite nervous but obviously nerves are good,

15-year-old Erin from Wales is a little singer with a huge voice.

Erin needs the performance of a lifetime now.
