and there is still everything to play for.

Jeremiah, you won the last Sing-Off. How did that feel?

I'm really happy because it was my song and I won it,

so I'm proud of myself and my auntie.

Emilly, you've still yet to be in a Sing-Off.

The competition is really, really heating up.

We've got one girl who hasn't been in a Sing-Off yet.

And I think that's a lot of pressure for her.

Each episode, there are only three end-of-show Sing-Off spots,

and those performance places can be won in a series of challenges.

But first, our musical director David Tench

will be teaching the whole group the new song.

So David, this song is completely different

to the last three songs we've had.

It's more of a rock and roll song, isn't it?

What do you think the kids are going to struggle with

when it comes to this song?

I think it's just going to be "How are they going to own it?"

and "How are they going to make it interesting for the judges

"at the Sing-Off?"

rather than singing ballads.

how are you feeling about maybe singing it at the Sing-Off

-I really want to do it.

I'm just putting pressure on myself

because I think I can do a lot better than I've been doing lately.

Emilly is a 14-year-old indie kid who lives and breathes music.

# Staying up and waking up with you... #

When I sing to people, I can, like, get a message across.

It's like a superpower.

She moved to South London seven years ago,

but was born nearly 6,000 miles away in Sao Paulo, Brazil.

Growing up in Brazil was completely different to growing up here.

British kids aren't really pushed as much as we are, like.

Because I want them to have a different life of me.

Like, our parents want us to have a better life than what they had.

But being pushed in her music has worked out well for Emilly.

I play guitar, trumpet, French horn, piano.

I am so hard-working, all parts of my life.

But she has one weakness she wants to work on in the Music Mansion.

I don't have a massive personality,

so it's really difficult to have amazing stage presence.

I need to be more comfortable on stage.

It's the halfway point in the competition,

and back in the lesson, David wants to remind the group what's at stake.

So the prize is mega. It can be nerve-racking, I mean,

but it can also be a fantastic opportunity.

To perform in the Radio 1 Big Weekend,

that would give me a reassurance for myself, like,

"Yeah, I CAN do this and I CAN pursue my music dream."

I literally can't even imagine it cos it would just be phenomenal.

My dad is like my idol,

and for him to see me performing on that stage,

I can just be like, "Dad, I've done it."

Just to make my dad proud.

-That's really nice.

-Going to make me cry...

-I know!

This prize means a lot to all of the singers.

They have genuine reasons for wanting to sing at Big Weekend.

And with the importance of the opportunity hitting home,

all eyes are now on the frontrunners.

I think there's definitely pressure to keep up with Rio,

because she's been in the most Sing-Offs.

I didn't want to give too much away, cos you never know.

It's a competition, so they could steal ideas.

I mean, I'm not saying they would, but they could.

And one of the group is feeling the pressure more than most.

I'm really worried now.

Why are you worried, Shaun?

It's just hard when you're up against so many good people.

He's always got his eye on the other singers, and that, for me,

is something that's going to hold him back.

You just have to be individual. You just have to do your thing.

Whatever it is, believe in it and stick to it,

and don't be too swayed by other people's sound.

Just do your thing.

In today's challenge, the kids are heading into London

to the home of music, Radio 1.

I'm so excited!

The group are going to be interviewed

by Radio 1 DJ Clara Amfo.

Today I am hoping to meet somebody who's got the makings of being

a true artist - somebody who isn't afraid to be themselves,

that's what I'm looking for.

But first, the singers are heading into the world-famous Live Lounge

to get some advice from Radio 1 producer Nadia Dunn.

You're standing where so many big celebrities have

stood and sung, like Justin Bieber, Taylor Swift.

And, as you can see, on air at the moment

we've got Greg James in this studio and then Scott is just finishing.

He's just behind you, Scott Mills.

So, as you know, your challenge today is an interview with

Clara Amfo, one of our DJs.

You need to be yourselves as much as possible.

Try and add a little bit of humour in there,

have a bit of a laugh with her. That always comes across quite well.

And, finally, you might get asked some tricky questions.

And the key is,

if you don't want to answer it, then you can always move it on.

First, can the singers get their personalities across

whilst under a little pressure?

How would you describe yourself as an artist in three words?

Three words, erm... Let's see...

-I'm more of an R&B person.

-In three words.

Oh!

-Sassy...

-A little bit different.

-Three words strictly!

-Different.

-Energetic...

-Right.

I'd say I'm quite humorous.

And talented.

Next, Clara wants to see if any of the group has a funny side.

You've got 20 seconds to make me laugh.

-Are you being serious?

-SHE LAUGHS

I did it!

-I was at home with my mum and...

If I'm tired and I just want some space,

I go to the toilet just to sit there.

I find it really relaxing to be by myself in the toilet.

Do you know what I mean?

Finally, the group are going to face some tricky questions.

And these ones have come from one of the other singers.

Emilly has a question for you.

She says, do you think your music is meaningful?

I think that it's quite meaningful.

I try to perform with as much passion as possible.

This is from your mate Rio.

She says, do you think you are a better singer than the rest of us?

Can't really pick out a better singer.

We've all got different styles and strengths and weaknesses

when it comes to our voices.

It's Jeremiah who's asked this question.

He says, there are rumours that you have got

a crush on somebody in the group. Are those rumours true?

100% not!

Categorically saying today you do not have a crush on someone?

100% not. I love them all like family.

Henry has asked, Annie, if you could go out

with one person in the Mansion, who would it be and why?

Probably be Henry because he's a nice guy.

-I wouldn't actually go out with him but he's a nice person.

-OK. Noted.

Noted.

Being put under the spotlight

has been a tricky experience for the singers.

But does it get any easier once you've made it?

You'll start reading opinions about what other people think

and I think it's just important to stay true to yourself.

It's constant.

You have people looking at you, having to do that kind of thing.

Although it's amazing, I personally struggled a little bit with that.

There's nothing you have to say.

There's nothing you don't have to stay. Try and be yourself.

It's decision time.

Clara and Nadia must now pick the two that won them over

with their interviews.

I don't know if mine went good or not.

No, neither do I. I'm a bit scared.

This is going to be a very hard decision.

I did a chicken impression to make her laugh. Why did I do that?

Super bubbly. Super confident.

I have no idea what just happened.

It'll be really hard to pick two from this eight. But got to do it...

-Wow. This has been quite difficult, this.

-Really tough.

Like, I feel like there's a lot more pressure now.

There are definitely some future stars in that mix

and nobody in that second group is the same as the next person

and I really liked that.

Yeah, I'm a little bit gutted.

I haven't been in any Sing-Offs

So, it would really mean the world if my mum did win tomorrow.

So that's Shaun and Nataya into the Sing-Off.

I'm winner number one.

I'm winner number two.

It's good news for Shelly and Kelsey.

And for the singers, it's a long drive home,

which means lots of time to practise.

It's a new day and the pressure's back on the mums

in their next challenge.

With Shaun through, Shelly gets to sit this one out.

But after Natasha's injury in the air guitar battle,

Kelsey has volunteered to step in and try and win the spot for Jada.

As a new artist on the music scene,

it's important to make as many contacts as possible.

The people you meet have the power to

accelerate your career in a big way.

But one bad impression could put the brakes on everything.

Which is a bit like today's challenge, Celebrity Circuit.

This one is literally going to drive you round the bend.

Bends? Maybe driving?

-Can you drive, Sherina?

-Nuh-uh.

I did a lesson and drove straight into a roundabout.

I worry that I'm going to die,

if there's anything to do with a car. Legit.

My heart is literally, I'm not even lying right now, freaking out.

And you don't drive.

And I don't drive!

Don't worry, Sherina,

you won't be driving but you will be in a very fast car.

In this challenge, the mums will be driven around the Celebrity Circuit

track by a pro driver.

All they have to do is look out for 15 music stars

stood around the course.

The person who can remember the most famous faces

when they finish the race wins.

As always, our games guru, Kevin Adams,

is on hand to show the mums how it's done.

The hardest thing is trying to keep your eyes open

and focused on what you should be looking at.

I think when you have a genuine fear,

you can see that there with Sherina because she is genuinely scared.

I think she'll be thrilled and I'm absolutely delighted for her.

I'm the only one who hasn't been in the Sing-Off

so I'm, kind of, at a disadvantage.

Nataya brought in so much confidence and then,

after she hit that high note, she immediately apologised for it.

Shaun came in today to work on the song looking, again, worried.

That's the thing about Shaun. He's an over-thinker.

Taken a knock to my confidence.

And it's even harder

because sometimes we all do forget that it is a competition.

14-year-old Shaun is a soulful singer from Luton.

I like the reaction on other people's faces when I sing.

And this young singer puts everything into his performances.

When I'm singing, I, kind of, base it on past experiences.

Over the last year, I've lost quite a lot of people.

My auntie has died, my nan died.

I want people to feel what I'm feeling when I'm singing my music.

But Shaun is bringing more than just emotional

performances to the competition.

My mum is my secret weapon because she's fierce.

I'm cool.

You think you're cool but it's just embarrassing.

Don't smile at me.

If I'm doing something wrong, she'll tell me about it and she is harsh.

Sing from your diaphragm.

And sometimes you sing too fast.

You sing quite nasally.

He's nervous against all the other singers,

even though they're his friends,

he doesn't like the fact that it's competition.

She had a little stumble, forgot a couple of words

but it didn't last long.

It went well but it didn't go as well as the rehearsal

cos I lost, like, a few words.

I think Annie did absolutely amazing.

So, we've had three very, very different performances

but now it's down to you guys to vote.

The mums must now choose who they think gave the best performance.

It was really exciting to see Shaun, Annie and Nataya

all tackle it in their own individual way.

There can only be one winner.

because he hadn't won a Sing-Off yet.
