So the most integral thing to creating your own

arrangement is actually knowing what the notes are,

so you have to be able to pull them out

so you can figure ou the melodies and what to do with the song,

-and a great place to start with that is sheet music.

In case you're wondering what I'm talking about,

I'm sure you've seen this before.

It's called a staff and this little symbol right here is called

a treble clef. Each line in space represents the notes.

I'll start with the spaces.

So the spaces is F, A, C, E.

You can remember it by three acronym FACE,

and also the lines have notes as well,

so, I mean, I'm sure you can see, E, G, B, D, F,

and you can remember it by the acronym

"Every Good Band Deserves Fame", which is very true.

Just one thing I'd like to clarify,

-not all staffs are bendy and twirly like that. Most aren't.

Depending on your key, either sharps or flats.

And the flat symbol is a little lower case "b"-looking thing,

and the sharp symbol is the number sign,

which you may be more familiar with as the hashtag.
