And I'm still only halfway through my day's work.

How did this happen?

Where did the time go?

At eight o'clock, I dropped Lisa off at Granny Murray's.

The children were making finger-paintings.

At nine o'clock I arrived at work.

Mickey John told me my buffet car was going to be part of a creative train.

At ten o'clock, Bobby came aboard with painting things.

She bumped against my counter and covered me in crisps!

At one o'clock, Mickey John asked if he could hang some paintings.

Bobby brought in paintings

and Mickey John littered my counter with badgemaking equipment.

At two o'clock Mickey John asked me to judge the poetry.

I didn't think there was time.

Especially when Dr Juno and the band climbed on board.

It was so crowded in my buffet car, that when the train pulled out,

all the paintings, badges and poems went tumbling.

What a mess!

What was really special about today?

Well. Claude was dressed as an art gallery, all covered in paintings.

Because today was a creative day for everyone.

Then we dropped Lisa off at the nursery,

and she made a train out of modelling clay.

When nursery was over,

Lisa joined me and the others at my friend, the potter's, studio.

We got very messy spinning clay on the potter's wheel,

before we baked the finished pots in the pottery kiln.

Raymond had had a great time on the creative train making badges.

They looked super! It must have been great fun.

I'm sure he had lots of stories to tell Lisa about his day

as they made their way home.

I hope you enjoyed yourself.
