found some very hi tech equipment washed up on shore,

so I've decided to start

a pirate radio station here on The Scarlet Squid.

A radio station?

Yep! And today is going to be our very first show.

Oh, and people called Gem

standing next to a giant teddy bear with an eye patch are NOT invited!

-SQUEAKY VOICE:

Stop playing with that, Line! We've a radio show to sort out!

I think you've got some very silly pirates to sort out, Sinker!

Pudsey, we've got some very special Swashbucklers here today!

So, Squawk, let's meet them.

Playing today in our Children in Need special, we've got Pia!

Pia is six and enjoys colouring.

She'll love the colourful jewels!

Her Swashbuckle name is Dangerous Pia.

Next, it's Greg.

Greg is Pia's uncle.

He likes music and DJing.

His Swashbuckle name is Pegleg Greg.

This is Coco.

Coco is five and likes flowers.

Maybe she'll win a bunch of jewels later.

Her Swashbuckle name is Lionheart Coco.

Finally, we've got Jo.

Jo is Coco's mum.

She likes music and DJing, too.

Her Swashbuckle name is Jolly Jo.

-The first game is Shivering Timbers!

The aim of the game is to make a giant jigsaw of me!

All you have to do is walk along the plank

and collect the pieces from the other side.

But, be careful, Cook and Line will be making it tricky for you

and they might hide the pieces, too!

Here's the picture of Squawk that you need to build

with the eight puzzle pieces.

They're hiding over the other side in the crates.

Or maybe cook might just balance them on his head?

Drop it, Cook! Drop it! Ha-ha-ha-ha!

If you do fall in, you have to go back to the side

that you were coming from.

You have as long as the Octopus takes to reach out and

close the treasure chest to play. Jo and Coco, are you going first?

Jo was a bit handy with those fish.

Greg crash-landed, and so did Jo.

But Coco got her own back with Line.

With just seconds left, Pia fell in,

meaning the jigsaw was one piece short.

I'm sorry, Gem, you lose.

Aw, Swashbucklers, it was so close.

Never mind. We didn't win that, but we could win all the jewels later.

Oh, I'll keep this, shall I, Gem?

Aw, "Never mind". Ha-ha-ha! BOOING

It's all right, there's still two more games to play

and we could win back all of my jewels,

then you naughty pirates will end up in a smelly ship's mess.

ALL: Eugh!

Oh! It sounds horrible in here! It's all squelchy and squidgy.

It doesn't smell very nice either.

Now, listen, boys, if we're going to be ready

for our Pirate Radio show later, we'd better practise.

Oh, dear. I'm having to cover over Pudsey's ears! You pirates will have

to practise much more to be ready for your pirate radio show.

The aim of this game is to make a picture

that matches what the pirate is wearing.

All you have to do is run through the giant barrel,

find the dressing up bits

and bring them back to make your picture.

But be careful! Cook or Line will be trying to make you tumble.

Just then, they heard lots and lots

of massive, huge birds,

who had come to rescue them.

It's the Shipwreck Rummage.

SQUAWKING

The aim of the game is to collect the rest of Gem's jewels

that have been hidden around the shipwreck.

Use the map, because "X marks the spot"

where each of the jewels can be found.

But, be careful, Cook, Line and Captain Sinker

have hidden the jewels well

and they must all be in the chest before the time runs out!

CHEERING

Swashbucklers, you know what to do to win back my five jewels.

Let me show where they're hiding.

Up on the top deck, the white one is in one of the bird's nests.

Then the red one in the pool of pearls on the middle deck.

On the same deck, we have the purple one over by the laundry.

On the lower deck, the blue one is hiding in one of the hammocks.

-Greg and Pia, you're first. Which one will you go for?

-White.

White, right at the top! OK.

-Are you ready to play?

-ALL: Arr-harr!

-Then Swashbucklers away!

-BELL RINGS

Greg and Pia are off, and Pudsey's cheering them on.

Four jewels to find!

They're going for the white jewel in the bird's nest on the top deck.

Greg's flinging a few pearls at Cook there.

-Woo-hoo!

-Oh, he's got him!

Pia's nearly at the tunnel.

She's reaching up...

and has the jewel!

-Which one will you go for next?

-Purple.

-OK. By the laundry.

Come on, Greg! Quick as you can!

Into the chest! And off you go!

Yeah!

It's Jo and Coco going for jewel number two.

They're after the purple in the laundry.

Jo's got a couple of toy fish and she's not afraid to use them.

Coco's feeling around the laundry...

and she's got the purple jewel!

-Purple one down. Which one next?

-Red?

-Red? In the pool of pearls.

That's it. Here they come.

Brilliant. We're halfway now, team. Off you go!

Brilliant!

-Yeah! Well done!

-Two jewels home, two still to find!

Greg and Pia are going for red in the pool of pearls.

Get up that rigging as quick as you can!

Quick! Into the pool of pearls, you two!

Where's that red jewel?

It's down there in the bottom somewhere.

Greg's grabbed it!

Got it! OK! They've got it. You have to go for the last one.

The blue one in the hammock. We're running out of time.

The tentacle's getting closer to the chest. Not long left!

Quick! Come down the slide! ..Off you go!

Into the chest. That's it.

One more jewel to get! It's the blue!

It's in those hammocks somewhere!

Come on! Where's that jewel?!

ALL: Four, three, two, one...

-BELL RINGS

Oh, Swashbucklers.

Squawk had the bird's-eye view. How did it look to you?!

That was a rascal of a rummage!

Pia plucked the white from the nests.

Coco found the purple in the laundry,

Greg grabbed the red from the pearls,

but time ran out in the hammocks.

Coco and Jo found the blue, but too late.

I'm sorry, Gem. You lose.

-ALL: Aw!

-Never mind, Swashbucklers.

You tried hard, but couldn't get the blue jewel into the chest in time.

Pudsey has to come out as I have to close the treasure chest for today.

-Yeah.
