Final: And The Winner Is... Taking the Next Step

Over 2,000 dancers applied from all over the UK.

But only the best 150 were invited to regionals.

The judges then picked their top 50 dancers to go to nationals.

I'm going to nationals!

And after two days of gruelling challenges, only six remain.

Last time, they danced for a place in the final.

And now we're down to the last three.

And by the end of this show, one of them will be heading off to Canada

to perform alongside these guys on The Next Step.

Today, we are going to give one young dancer

the opportunity of a lifetime.

To win a guest role in the smash TV show The Next Step.

That's right - by the end of this show, we'll reveal

which lucky young dancer will be jetting off to Canada

-to claim this amazing prize.

I'm very nervous. But before we meet our brilliant finalists,

let's meet the decision-makers.

For the last time, our dancers will be performing

for actor and dancer Jonny Labey...

founder of dance group Flawless, Marlon "Swoosh" Wallen...

and joining them all the way from The Next Step,

guest judge Brittany Raymond.

more experienced people, because it's not just about winning -

it's a competition about gaining experience and to try new things.

Definitely. They've really helped us

when we've been struggling with this challenge.

And how long have you been tapping?

For about ten years. My mum is one of my favourite tap dancers.

-Aww!

-She's taught me pretty much everything I know.

Kai, you're the guy, man!

You're just really advanced!

The first dancer going through is Kai.

It's gone from 2,000 video entries to 150 that went to regionals,

to 50 at nationals, to six, and now to three,

and I think it's just been quite an incredible journey.
