I decided to audition for A-Troupe at the last minute.

That's weird, I didn't know that either.

I'm surprised to see Skylar here.

She told me she was going to focus on rugby this year,

but I guess she changed her mind.

'I'm really happy that Skylar decided to audition.'

It's time for the next generation of A-Troupers and I'm glad some of our

younger dancers are stepping up.

'I don't know what Nick is doing here'

but the last thing we need is more Elite drama.

So Lucien decided to shut down Elite after we lost Nationals.

I didn't even think he knew the meaning of the word "quit".

So I'm back here to audition for A-Troupe one last time.

'I'm splitting them into morning and afternoon groups.'

'I have no idea where Eldon is, but I know that Amanda's auditioning'

for a professional dance tour. She asked me to keep it a secret,

so it looks like I'm going to have to cover for her.

The audition will be broken down into two sections.

The first part will be a choreography round.

The second part will be freestyle.

But the choreo and the songs will be different for both auditions.

I'm actually glad that I'm in the first group auditioning.

The first group gets to set the tone and you don't have time to stress

about your performance.

'Going first is a little intimidating,'

but I want to be at The Next Step so bad.

I'm not going to let anything stop me.

exactly sure if I want to audition yet.

It was different for you. You knew right away that you didn't want

to be on A-Troupe. How did you know if it was the right time or not?

Well, I seem to remember kind of just clearing my head and I actually

closed my eyes and I just focused on what my heart wanted,

and I wanted the band, not A-Troupe.

One thing's for sure, I definitely still love to dance.

Don't get me wrong, there's no way I'm stopping dancing,

but just not in A-Troupe.

I guess I've got to look deep into my heart now.

-Yeah, right now, man.

has made me work.

It's made me grow not only as a dancer, but as a human being.

but I know that he has to do what's right for him.

It's been incredible watching you grow.

When you first started here you were this tall

and I'm so proud of how far you've come.

Well, I haven't seen you dance in a while, so I'm not sure about that,

but I do know you have a good and sensible head on your shoulders.

All the stress is making me really nervous.

I went into the room, they put on music and I freestyled.

but every time you say it I get more and more nervous.

I am cutting my A-Troupe audition super close,

but as long as I get out of here soon, I should be OK.

'Last year I was able to balance'

playing rugby and dancing on B-Troupe.

But there's no way I can do that this year.

And then I saw everyone on A-Troupe and I realised

it was something I'd really like to be a part of.

And I mean, I guess I kind of missed you.

There was just so much fighting last year when we were on separate teams.
