You can still dance at The Next Step.

Just not on A-Troupe.

And I have brought in another Next Step alumni

to choreograph your audition.

'Daniel's choreography was insane.'

And I'm worried our guest choreographer

is going to be even harder.

'I'm really happy to see Stephanie.

'She and I have a similar style,

'so her choreo should be a piece of cake.'

All right, I'm going to get you guys to spread out,

learn my choreography.

I'm not going to do it a million times, so try to figure it out.

'I definitely have mixed emotions about today.

and it's pretty challenging!

I'm actually really impressed.

See, the thing with good choreo is that it needs to have substance.

In order to teach you guys that, we're going to do some exercises.

-Yeah, we're going to do an improv session.

So I'm going to turn on some music,

I'm going to shout stuff out at you and you guys have to do what I say.

-Yeah.

-'I'm not sure why Stephanie's making us improv.

It might be because she wants us to loosen up before the audition.

So I'm just going to go with it.

OK, so pretend the ground is hot!

It's so hot! Yeah. It's really, really hot, guys!

So hot! But wait, wait, wait. The ceilings are really low.

'Stephanie's improv is the weirdest thing in the world.'

But I like it.

OK, now you're being attacked by flies!

-The flies are attacking you, they're everywhere!

-'I hate flies.'

I hate them!

Cold, it's so cold! The wind is blowing you!

OK, but you're trying to fight it back! You don't want to go.

And now there's dogs chasing you! Run, run!

'I used to have a paper route.'

So I'm pretty good at running away from dogs.

Kick them, kick the dogs! Get rid of the dogs.

You don't want the dogs! Kick them!

'OK, this is way different than our audition.'

But it is very, very fun to watch!

OK, next group!

Right, guys, you're freestyling. Freestyle.

And lightning just hit you! You're being electrocuted!

You're being electrocuted!

'This is amazing.'

I just got struck by a lightning bolt!

Now you guys are the size of peas. Be the size of a pea!

'It's definitely the weirdest thing ever.'

She's really making us think outside the box.

I'm just going to have to go for it.

Now you're all birds. You're heading south for the winter!

Fly in a V.

OK, now you're flying too high.

It's too bright. It's burning. It burns! It's so hot!

You can't take it any more!

Seriously? I'd rather be learning the choreo than doing this.

Now you're an ironing board!

We made a pact. You don't make it, I don't make it.

So you need to step it up.

Making A-Troupe is all that matters.

I don't want Skylar to blow this for us.

All right, so my next group?

'Cierra's right. We need to make A-Troupe together.'

I'm not going to mess this up.

And you guys are all freestyling very nicely.

And now you're going down a drain and you're swirling around.

And all of a sudden you're down the drain!

And there's a mouse down there! And he gives you a piece of cheese.

Eat the cheese. Eat the cheese!

Because now you're a mouse, too! You're all mice!

'I know this is a bit silly, but I'm hoping to relax the dancers.'

They are auditioning for one of

the most competitive dance studios in the world.

And now you're a statue. You're a statue.

That's good!

'I hope the dancers had fun,'

because after this they'll be competing for A-Troupe

and they'd better bring it.

OK, OK. Oh, he's pounding it.

All right, this is not fair!

'Right now, we're rehearsing Stephanie's choreo'

for this afternoon's audition.

Everyone seems really ready to dance.

-Yo.

-Hey.

-It was kind of weird back there with Stephanie, wasn't it?

-Sorta.

But I didn't mind it - it kind of reminded me of kindergarten. Yeah.

Hey, you nervous for the audition?

I'll admit I'm a bit nervous, yeah.

Yeah, man, I'm nervous too.

Really? You seem like such a confident dude.

Yeah, no. But you know what? I admire your calmness.

Thanks! Being calm is sort of my thing. I'm always calm.

If being nervous is your thing, then why fight it?

Hey, I don't know if you've forgotten,

but you're auditioning for a dance studio.

Right. But playing music before an audition just relaxes me.

'I play my guitar before every big audition.'

It's like a channelling instrument.

A-Troupe was moving on without me.

But I'm really excited for this tour,

'I was so worried about Skylar,'

and I was the one that ruined our chance at A-Troupe.

Those auditions were insane, you guys!

You are all so, so, so talented.

It was a pleasure to watch you all.

We will let you know once we've made our final choice.
