Teamwork is when you work together,

and when someone is still going, you can help them.

Teamwork is when you work together to get a job done.

We work as a team building the train tracks.

Working as a team gets things done faster.

Like when we help the teacher tidy up the classroom.

In PE, we work as a team

to throw the beanbag into the hoop.

Me and Abdullah work as a team when we play football.

I remember when I was in a team once,

and we were picking up rubbish as a team.

When we play together, we always help each other.

I enjoy playing in a team because I'm friends with my team-mates.

-We're working together to make a...snowchamp!

-Yeah! Come on!

Let's hear a story about some Treasure Champs who also

found things easier when they worked together as a team.

Hello, I'm Jonah, and this is the amazing story

of the two armies who fought to see who was best.

In the mountains of the universe,

a great battle was taking place between two heavenly families.

The Asuras....

THEY SHOUT

..and the Devas!

THEY SHOUT

Oh!

They fought for so long that they were exhausted.

Both sides were tired of fighting...

..so they each prayed to the great creator Lord Brahma.

"Lord Brahma," they said, "please end this terrible war.

"Please tell us which side is the strongest and the best."

The Lord Brahma heard their prayers and saw how tired they were,

so he invited them all to a feast!

-ALL:

-Wow!

But Brahma said, "Before you can eat,

"you must have straight arms,

"so I will make sure they can't bend."

I've got just the thing.

Here we have a way for you to not move your arms.

But with their arms out straight,

they couldn't get the food into their mouths.

The Asuras struggled and struggled.

The Devas were also unable to put food into their mouths,

but they noticed that their friends couldn't either.

They said, "I can't feed myself, but I can feed you."

And so the Devas used their straightened arms

to feed each other until everyone was full...

..while the Asuras were still tired and hungry.

The Lord Brahma said, "I'll tell you who the best army is -

"the Devas are the best and the strongest because they are united.

"They looked after each other as a team

"instead of just thinking about themselves.

"They're strength is in their togetherness,

"in their teamwork, in their unity."

All the families on my street

are getting together for a big celebration.

Each family has a special job to do.

My family is making the cakes.

There's going to be lots of fun things to do at the party.

My friends Henry and Joshua are putting up some bunting.

My friend Isla's getting ready for a sack race in her garden.

There's lots to do.

Too much for one person.

But together they get everything done!

And then it's time to have fun!

I dance everywhere.

Today is my favourite day of the week,

because I'm coming to my dance class.

Emilia's going to lead you. I'm going to watch to make sure

Tonight's the big night. I'm looking forward to it,

but I want to make sure you have the routine perfect.

When we dance as a group,

we can do things that we wouldn't be able to do on our own,

such as these piggybacks.

I am really honestly impressed, because I can tell

you've been practising. But you weren't smiling all the way through.
