-..like a pink army!

-All runners will raise money

-for charity.

-Today, we're part of the pink army.

-Myself, Alys and Mam. We're running

-to remember Taid and my Uncle Non.

-Taid died of cancer

-but Uncle Non's still alive.

-We're collecting money

-to help other people get better.

-Ela will wear a badge on her back...

-..so that everyone knows

-she's running for Taid.

-Lyn's given me tips.

-She's run a marathon before.

-Take it easy at the start

-and speed up towards the end.

-If I'm tired, I'll probably walk.

-If I do it, I'll feel happy.

-Ela feels nervous right now as

-the family travel from Felinheli...

-..to Caernarfon for the race.

-We collect money for the charity.

-The charity uses the money

-to try and find cures for cancer.

-It's cold and windy in the fields

-near Caernarfon Castle.

-A lot of money will be raised

-for the charity today.

-I'm hoping to raise 100

-for Cancer Research.

-First, we warm up.

-We do exercises.

-This is fun, fair play.

-Everyone's wearing pink.

-I'm glad my hair isn't that pink!

-Off they go, all wearing pink.

-There are plenty of supporters,

-including Ela's father and sister.

-I didn't want to do it initially...

-..but when I started, I felt

-I should have done it before.

-I also felt nervous.

-I can feel butterflies

-in my stomach.

-It's not easy running

-for five kilometres.

-It's a long way.

-Ela remembers the advice

-Lyn gave her.

-Take it easy at the start

-and maintain a good pace.

-It's also good to have the company

-of your mother and sister.

-Myself, Alys and Mam

-were running together.

-There was a wall and Mam told us

-to stay on that side.

-On the way out,

-the wind was in our faces.

-On the way back, it was on

-our backs and made life easier.

-When we were on the path, there

-were lots of people behind us...

-..and some ahead of us.

-On the way back, everyone

-was shouting, "Come on, come on."

-We had to pick up the pace

-before we reached the finish line.

-Ela's legs and feet are

-getting tired but she keeps going.

-Yes, here they come,

-they're back in the fields.

-..and Ela picks up the pace

-as she sees the finish line.

-When I saw the finish line,

-I was happy.

-I thought, "Oh, it's over!"

-Yes, I've finished!

-You read Braille by feeling the dots

-with the tip of your finger.

-You see Braille dots everywhere.

-You might have seen dots on signs.

-I'm a little bit scared!

-You can bounce and slide down here.

-It's difficult to walk here.

-It's also difficult to see,

-especially for someone like Ela.

-Bouncing is fun

-It was hard getting up again.
