-We asked the public for ideas.

-There are 77 events in one week.

-Earlier, I visited some workshops

-that form part of the festival.

-The bandstand has hosted many events

-over the last fortnight.

-What's happening here today, Teilo?

-This is a print workshop to make

-decorations for Saturday's feast.

-The pictures are associated

-with the tale of Cantre'r Gwaelod.

-They do a sketch on paper,

-transfer it to a polystyrene tile...

-..colour it and print it.

-We've had a great response and

-the parents and children enjoy it.

-This is one event but we've had

-others on the beach in the sunshine.

-It's been brilliant.

-The idea came

-when I was growing up in Towyn.

-I want to travel up Cader Idris.

-There's a special reason

-behind the event.

-I was struck down

-with leukaemia as a teenager.

-Fortunately, I overcame

-my battle with blood cancer.

-I had a stem cell transplant.

-It was relatively new at the time.

-I have been raising funds

-for Bloodwise.

-The event is supporting Bloodwise

-which researches leukaemia...

-..lymphoma, myeloma

-and other blood cancers.

-I decided to swim, cycle and run up

-Cader Idris.

-The charity aims to eradicate

-blood cancer.

-The illness made you

-realize how precious life is.

-It gave me a feeling

-that anything is possible.

-You have to put your mind to it.

-You've created an extreme course.

-There are two options with this

-triathlon.

-There are two route options

-this year...

-..comprising of the Caderman Sprint

-distance or the Caderman Extreme.

-It's over a mile in the sea,

-and 55 miles on the bike...

-..and half a marathon to the top

-of Cader.

-The track that opened in 1900 will
