-a yuletide chocolate log.

-Welcome to the programme, Lisa.

-You'll have to wait a while before

-you taste it.

-This is very easy.

-It could also be gluten free.

-I've separated five eggs.

-The egg whites have been whipped.

-Next, add some sugar to the egg

-yolks.

-Add a touch of sugar

-to the egg whites too.

-It helps if all the aspects are

-sweet.

-That kitchen aid is a prize in our

-Christmas Cracker Competition.

-There's always lumps in cocoa.

-I'd suggest that you sieve the

-cocoa...

-..before you use it in your recipe.

-It helps to get rid of the lumps.

-The cocoa is added to the egg yolks

-and sugar.

-Next, we add the egg whites a bit at

-a time.

-Use a metal spoon.

-It cuts through the mixture.

-This means you don't lose any of the

-air in the mixture.

-It's important to add the egg whites

-slowly.

-It all needs to mix.

-Don't mix it too quickly.

-You don't want to add it to the food

-processor.

-This is going to form a flat sponge.

-Line a tin with some oil and some

-greaseproof paper.

-The oil helps to release the cake

-after baking.

-This is baked for about ten minutes.

-It isn't very deep so it cooks very

-quickly.

-Here's one I made earlier.

-It's easier to move it when it's

-warm.

-Place some greaseproof paper over

-the top.

-Turn it out on the board.

-I did put some sugar on top of the

-cake.

-Remove the greaseproof paper from

-the base of the cake.
