-In weather like today, we all like

-to stay in and watch the box.

-Don't forget that nobody knows

-your body better than you.

-It's important that you process

-everything you put into your body.

-Everyone will over eat

-on Christmas Day.

-Keep Rennies or indigestion medicine

-at hand for moments like this.

-Zantak is a stronger medicine

-that aids indigestion.

-It eases the acids in your stomach.

-Many people suffer from constipation

-at this time of year.

-My best advice

-is to drink plenty of water.

-I really liked these.

-The pastry was light...

-..but the sausage meat wasn't very

-nice.

-They might taste better

-when they are warm.

-I really liked the one that I tried.

-There wasn't too much pastry.

-The sausage meat was quite tasty.

-They look very similar.

-Mari's sausages are smaller.

-My sausage rolls are much smaller!

-I was disappointed by their size.

-I didn't like the sausage meat.

-The first one got 19 out of 30.

-Cathy's plate was 22 out of 30.

-Mari's plate was 20 out of 30.

-The first sausage roll...

-..is sold in a pack of 24

-at Asda for 2.24 so that's 9p each.

-Our second sausage roll...

-..is by Marks and Spencer is 12

-for 2 which works out as 16p each.

-of all the deaths in Britain.

-The charity is eager to raise

-awareness about the disease.

-Rhodri Gomer met an inspiring lady

-who is recovering from the illness.

-I was diagnosed with

-lung cancer last May.

-I underwent radiotherapy,

-chemotherapy...

-..before having an operation

-in June this year.

-Four months later,

-I ran the Snowdonia Marathon.

-Running any marathon

-is a massive feat...

-..but the Snowdonia Marathon

-is among the toughest of its kind.

-Why did this Welsh learner from

-Ffarmers take up this challenge?

-Having had the surgery,

-we were told by a consultant...

-..that one in three people

-will be here in a year's time.

-When the Snowdonia Marathon

-came up...

-..I thought if I was fit

-I would do it.

-Running has played

-an important part Jane's life.

-When she moved to West Wales

-with her husband, Stephen...

-..joining a local running club

-seemed like a natural thing to do.

-Everyone was incredibly shocked

-as she's very fit.

-She never smoked or drank

-and lead a healthy lifestyle.

-The stigma that associates smokers

-with lung cancer should be quashed.

-But Jane's healthy lifestyle proves

-it can affect anyone at any time.

-Over 10% of cases

-are found in non-smokers.

-Early symptoms include a cough

-which lasts for over fortnight.

-If the cough persists,

-seek medical advice.

-Other symptoms include

-bloodstained sputum...

-..breathlessness, chest pains, or

-fatigue is another sign of cancer.

-The fitter you are

-the more acute the treatment can be.

-If you've suffered from bronchitis

-or a similar ailment...

-..you should opt for

-less abrasive treatment.

-Having a healthy lung means there's

-a greater chance of getting better.

-Recent research shows that Wales

-ranks 28th out of 29th in Europe...

-..in terms of five-year

-survival rates for lung cancer.

-Only 9% reach this milestone...

-..but raising awareness and funds

-for the cause is important to Jane.

-They decided to raise money for the

-Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.

-Activities have taken place and the

-community has extended its support.

-The current sum raised

-is close to 2,015.

-Following treatment what was it like

-to complete the Snowdonia Marathon?

-Crossing the finish line was great

-and the running club was also there.

-I felt well-supported

-and pleased that I completed it.

-Jane has had further tests

-and the results are promising.
