Star Flower Clangers

There it is - Earth -

the place where we're born,

knowing little about anything or anyone.

And day by day we grow and become strong

and we learn more and more about all the wonderful things

our planet has to offer.

And out here, in the vast twinkling blackness of space,

perhaps we would find other creatures, much like ourselves,

who are born and grow and learn.

Ah! There's Small Clanger out fishing in the music boat.

Let's go and see if he's had any luck.

Well, he's not doing much fishing! He's just admiring the stars.

There's a bright one. Hold on...

That's not a star, it's a shiny...thing.

Yes, what a curious little thing.

It's definitely something to show the others.

There's Tiny Clanger, come to see what Small has caught.

Oh, dear! The noisy Soup Dragon has scared it back into its pot.

Yes, the Soup Dragon needs to be quiet and come away.

They have a very shy visitor.

than Tiny's flower friends.

Tiny thinks that perhaps her gentle flower friends

could help the little plant come up and stay up.

the Clangers' planet, where everyone is nice and kind.

floating in space as a seed.

to the little plant.

She's telling it that she makes soup,

lovely, warm soup for the Clangers.

Ah! Now, here's Major.

what Major's invention is for.

Major says he doesn't know what it's for. Ha-ha!

She likes to make music and the plant likes music too.

So shiny and bright and so full of new seeds!

There they go, up and off into the starry sky.

You know, sometimes, we all feel shy, especially when things are new.

But the more we learn about the world

and the more friends we meet, the easier it is to feel braver.

And when the time comes, who knows?

We may just bloom into something really special.
