The Block Clangers

Planet Earth -

a perfect place in many ways.

But that doesn't stop us fiddling with it.

Building, for instance.

We are always building stuff all over the place.

Houses, office blocks, even sand castles.

I wonder, if we were to take a trip into space,

would we find other beings who, like ourselves, just love to build?

Ah. There we are, the Clangers' planet.

Let's go and see what's going on, shall we?

Well, it all seems very quiet.

The Clangers must be down below.

Hang on.

What's that? What a strange-looking thing.

I've not seen one of those before.

Oh, it's just Small Clanger carrying a box.

Silly old me!

It's full of little blocks.

I wonder what Small is going to do with them?

Oh, he's building a tower.

A tower of blocks.

And here's a Froglet to cheer him on.

Oh, dear.

What's Small going to do now? He's too short to reach any higher.

Perhaps she can help.

Tiny's right.

She can't reach the top of the tower either.

She's shorter than Small.

digging into their planet.

Oh, something is coming down from the big block.

It looks like a scroll of some sort.

I think Tiny's right.

Tiny is going to show it why they are so precious.

I think that robo-block rather likes the music.

the robo-block will understand

why the music trees must be left alone.

Small thinks the robo-block wants some more music.

But Tiny doesn't want to play it any more music.

She thinks it's time for it to go back home.
