and the competition couldn't be closer.

Five of you are tied with one sing-off each

and we've still got three up for grabs.

Any one of you can still win that automatic qualification

into the final. So, guys, you've got a new song today.

Let's go and find out what it is.

'I think this song is quite simple compared to last time.'

I'm hoping that it's really going to get their energy levels up,

you know, they can proper rock out to it.

Each episode, only three of the singers

get to perform in an end-of-show sing off.

Those places can be won in a series of challenges.

But first, our musical director David Tench will be teaching

the whole group the new song.

I'm hoping that this song's going to, sort of, uplift them

so there's plenty of opportunity to do their own thing.

but I'll just try my best to change the song to what I want it to be.

David Tench is an expert at getting singers to perform their best

and he knows it's not just about vocals.

I think it's important to sort of keep our energy up

because you're always being judged when you're in this industry.

You're only as good as your last performance.

That's something that's hard to live with in this business,

but it's true.

So let's give this one all we've got, yeah?

Amaria, you're looking down.

Today, I think, when the song was announced,

13-year-old Becky is a rock chick from Leeds.

I like singing rock music, I like playing it,

I like listening to it.

And she is already a big fan of Guns N' Roses.

She comes out of that little quiet Becky

and she turns herself into something amazing.

Her rock riffs have so far failed to get into the sing-offs.

I'm really upset that I'm the last person to sing.

You've always got to keep going no matter how hard it gets.

If you want to do it and it is your dream, you have to keep going.

Never stop believing in yourself cos if you don't,

then it's going to be so difficult.

Two end of show sing-off spots are up for grabs.

They can only be won in a music industry challenge

and it's time to find out exactly what that will be.

You may have a beautiful voice,

but can you win over an audience with your performance?

Well, we're going to find out in your challenge,

which is all about owning the stage.

I think it'll be about, like,

performance, having starred onstage in Les Miserables.

Hi, guys.

My name's Carrie Hope Fletcher and I'm playing Eponine at the moment

in London's West End in Les Miserables, which is...

It's quite a cool job, but it's very, very demanding.

What's the hardest part of the job?

I don't get to see my family and friends as often as I'd like

because we do it eight times a week every week,

but that's just part of the job.

Have you ever, like, fallen off the stage while you have been onstage?

I have, yeah, actually not that long ago.

I fell over quite badly and just had to keep going.

-So, have you got a song you can play us?

-I have.

I've got my guitar with me and I'll sing a song that you guys

will probably know. It's by Taylor Swift.

The group's industry challenge this week is all about commanding

the stage and they are about to get a crash course from Carrie.

Right, let's get started.

First up is learning to connect with the song

by reading the lyrics to each other.

in a big arena or whatever you'll have distractions,

like the lights will go out. But gorillas?!

The two that have impressed Carrie the most will get to perform

in the end of show sing-off.

You guys did amazingly.

That was really, really difficult

with those horrible distractions and I felt so mean.

I don't think there's anyone on the planet who wouldn't have jumped

in your situation.

But there are two people who did stand out for me.

And they are Lola and Rai-Elle.

You guys did amazingly.

Rai-Elle, you didn't even flinch, you didn't even blink.

And Lola, I just love the fact that you even started

singing to the gorilla.

I'm really happy.

Even though I'm not too keen on the song, but I'm just going to

give it a go and, hopefully, win the sing-off.

My fifth sing-off now, which I'm really happy about.

I'm proud of myself and I'll give it my best shot.

It may have been a day of high jinks,

but back at the music mansion the fun doesn't stop.

Every week in the charts, artists battle it out

to become number one in the country and in this challenge you'll be

facing off against someone who is number one week after week.

The mums' sixth challenge,

Beating No. 1, is a fierce penalty shoot out.

Games guru and fitness trainer to the stars Kevin Adams

will act as ref.

Each one will take three penalties.

Each penalty will put points on the board.

The further away the penalty, the more points the mum will score.

What they don't know is who they have to score against.

Guys, this is a penalty shoot out like no other because

you're going to be up against one of the best goalies in the land.

England goalie, Karen Bardsley.

As goalkeeper for the most successful England team since 1966,

not a lot gets past Karen Bardsley.

This is going to be tough.

Karen is Manchester City and England's number one goalie.

Is there a lot of pressure in the goal?

When it comes to penalties, the pressure is on the taker.

With Lola and Rai-Elle's mums sitting this one out,

the pressure is on for the other six to win that final sing-off spot.

First up, Lily's mum, Lisa.

Lily has performed twice at the sing-offs but has yet to win one.

I'm a bit worried

because she's not really ever done, like, football before.

from Carrie and David about performing?

We're at sing-off six now.

I don't think any of them seem that keen on this song,

but it's a massive opportunity for someone to take the lead.

Each sing-off, the mums are the judges

and will vote to decide which performer is the winner.

The person with the most sing-off wins after eight episodes

will automatically qualify for the grand final.

Currently, there are five singers all with one win each.

Tonight, Lily could draw level or either Rai-Elle or Lola

could take the lead.

We got three big singers performing today.

Bernice, we've got Rai-Elle in her second sing-off.

How are you feeling?

This isn't a song that she knew before it was revealed to them

and she's really been practising hard,

so I've got every faith that she's going to do her best.

I think the biggest challenge for Lola is trying to do something

different now, because she's done quite a few sing-offs,

so I think she might be feeling that she's getting a bit repetitive.

Lisa, you obviously worked hard to get Lily into the sing-off.

Yeah, I'm feeling a bit nervous, but I know she'll do her best.

So, let's get the sing-off started. First up is Lola.

Lola gave a fantastic performance as always. She tried something new.

This is only Rai-Elle's second time in the sing-off.

I was so nervous. I've been going over that song, like, literally

even when I'm talking, I'm just trying to think of the song.

Lily gave a great performance.

What happened with her is that she was thinking

all the time about those end notes so she had a few wobbles early on.

This one is going to be a really tricky decision. Let's get voting.

I was so happy with today's sing-off.

Everyone smashed it, as far as I'm concerned.

I don't think anybody needs to worry any more about,

"This song's not for me."

Just look at what those three did today

to turn it into something good.

Guys, in my opinion, this has been one of the best sing-offs

we've had so far.

I think everyone has really stepped up their game,

but there can only be one winner.

And today, the person with the most votes is...
