Hi, everyone, and welcome to the Got What It Takes semifinal.

Over the last eight weeks, our young singers have been battling it

out for a chance to perform at the ultimate gig...

Radio One's Big Weekend.

It's an amazing prize and the competition has been fierce.

-Pow!

-I really want to win now.

If you're not competitive, you're going to get nowhere.

My message to the other performers is, "Watch out."

The competition is really hotting up.

There were eight amazing sing-offs in the music mansion.

Now the fate of the remaining seven singers is in your hands.

They will all perform one song, and at the end of the show

you will have just 24 hours to vote for the singer you think

deserves to join Rai-Elle.

The three with the highest votes will qualify for the final.

We'll give you all the details you need later on in the show.

Today we've all met up at a recording studio in London.

Welcome to the Livingston Recording Studios.

It's here that the singers will be performing to

stay in the competition.

The one bit of advice I can give you guys about performing

for the public is you just have to make sure to be yourself.

I know it can be stressful, but there are

so many people out there voting.

It's really, really important.

Rai-Elle, you've already earned your spot in the finals,

so you don't have to perform today.

What have you been doing to prepare?

I've still been practising every

day I get home from school.

I'm really excited. I'm going to try my best to win this show.

I'm just really proud of what

she's achieved so far.

She's, like, one step away from the Big Weekend.

It's all really exciting.

Rai-Elle may be safely through to the final,

but now the other seven have to sing to stay in the competition.

There's only three spots left in the final,

and to win over the public, I think the kids are not going to have

to just sing their songs,

they're going to have to perform it, as well.

The Livingston Studios is one of London's most historic

recording venues.

and it's the first time I've done

something like this before.

While the kids check out the studios, games guru Kevin Adams

and has arrived to catch up with the mums.

Your kids are about to sing for the public vote.

Top tip from me as a parent would be tell your child to

just enjoy the experience because before you know it,

it's gone in a heartbeat.

You've been with your kids every step of the way,

but now we're going to draw for the order of performances.

It's a great experience.

I mean, this is a pro studio and this is the kind of place

they would come to make their record, you know, make their album.

I feel really excited for them.

I'm not actually that nervous, but I hope it goes well.

13-year-old Evan from the Scottish Borders

brought his own mix of rock and pop to the music mansion.

We did write a really good song.

I mean, I would listen to that, to be honest. I would.

It was amazing. It was so good on stage.

I think you looked so confident up there.

Evan need his confidence to shine through now

in the biggest performance of his life.

How important is this performance for both of you?

Really important because he didn't get as much chance to

perform as he would've liked.

-I think people will be surprised at how good he is.

I thought it was great. It brought a tear to my eye!

I think he's done so well and I can't believe that at his age

he can get up there and do that.

of what your career could be like?

Yeah, it's made me really determined that I want to go on

and keep doing it.

London impressed everyone with her

individual style and unique voice.

Probably the most nerve-racking experience I've ever watched Lily.

12-year-old Paddy from Lancashire made a big impression in the Mansion

with his ability to take on any song.
