This is Izzy and she is four years old.

-Are you going to kick a ball?

-Kick it to Mummy or Daddy.

Izzy likes to play in the garden

with her sister Amelia and her mum and dad.

-Fantastic. Are you going to slide at the same time?

Today, Izzy is going to do something new for the first time.

But what will that be?

This is Izzy's memory box.

It helps her remember the exciting things that have happened.

A holiday is a special time

where people go away to have fun and relax.

You can either holiday at home or go abroad.

Izzy is going on holiday to Faro in Portugal

and is travelling there on an aeroplane.

Here, they speak another language called Portuguese.

I wonder what she will get up to.

You'd better get packing, Izzy!

-Look at all these clothes.

-Yeah.

-I think these are all holiday clothes.

-Yeah.

Watch your fingers. Look, loads of room in there.

-I'm going to put the goggles in this bit.

-Goggles?

Why do you need goggles?

To go in the swimming pool.

-Izzy, what about this?

-Suncream.

-Why do we need suncream?

-To stop us burning in the sun.

Stop us getting burnt because our skin is very sensitive.

Then we do this.

You're all packed now. Next stop, airport.

The first thing into Izzy's memory box is a suitcase.

Izzy and her family have got up really early to come to the airport

and catch their plane. Oh, you look tired, Izzy!

Oh, we're here, Izzy.

Are we going to go and check in?

Izzy's bag is put on the plane. She'll pick it up when she arrives.

-There goes your bag.

We're here now. We're going to catch the plane.

you need to wear a seatbelt on the plane.

-I can see a big blue thing.

We're moving fast, faster than a car.

Look, Izzy, we're flying.

We're in the cloud. It feels funny, doesn't it?

-Are you enjoying your flight today? Having a good time?

It takes a long time to fly to another country.

Time to relax and have some fun.

Wow, Izzy, we're about to land.

Can you see the planes looking out of the window?

We're about to land.

Oh, wow! How do you feel?

-It's the airport.

Hurray, we've arrived in Portugal!

Yeah, it's an airport in Portugal.

The second thing to go into the memory box is a plane.

Here are the bags coming. Can you see yours, Izzy?

Oh, there it is!

It goes all the way round, so we'll get it when it comes around.

-Can you see a red case anywhere?

-Yeah.

-Where is it?

-Round there.

Yes, it is. It's coming round.

It's coming next after that black one.

Here it comes.

-Ohhh!

Magic doors.

There we go. We're on holiday now. Look at this lovely sunshine.

It's not really, really, really sunny.

This is Izzy's hotel, where she'll be staying for the next week.

Yay!

-Wow, look at this place!

-It's nice and shady in here.

Izzy will be staying and eating in the hotel

with two big swimming pools and lots of fun things to do.

-Wow!

-Shall we go in?

-Shall we look around?

Where are we going to sleep?

I think that could be your bed, Izzy.

Is Amelia bouncing? Whee!

What a lovely view you have from your hotel room.

-We can go in the swimming pool, in the little pool.

-Yeah.

-And get all your floats and arm bands.

-And I can swim all by my own.

Yes, you can swim by yourself, that's right.

After settling in, Izzy goes swimming.

Wow, look at this pool!

-Are you excited about going for a swim?

Izzy, we're going swimming now. What do you think we need?

-Suncream.

-That's right. I have some here. A little bit on your cheek.

You've got a nice long hat on, that'll protect your ears.

The third item into the memory box is a blue lilo.

When you go on holiday, it's fun to visit new places.

Izzy has come to the zoo water park to see the sea creatures.

-Ooh! That one said hello with its face.

-I can feel it.

You can put your hand in.

-They're kind of cute.

-They've got long tails, haven't they?

It's feeding time for the stingrays and Izzy is going to help.

-What's this feel like on your hands?

-Stay away from Mummy.

The fourth thing into the memory box is a stingray.

Mummy loves rides, Daddy doesn't.

-Wow, what can you see?

-Can I go on that ride?

-Wow!

We're going to be able to see loads when we're the top.

I can see a swimming pool.
