This is Joseph, and he is three years old.

Joseph loves to spend time with his mum and dad

Off to the camping shop. Joseph is going camping.

Camping is where we spend time sleeping outside,

away from our homes, to get close to nature.

There are different types of camping you can do,

from tents to motor homes to caravans.

Joseph is going camping in a tent.

He will be staying on a campsite with lots of fun things to do.

I wonder what he will get up to.

Oh, look, here we are at the camping shop. Shall we go in?

Can you open that door for me, Joseph? Good lad. Give it a push.

Excellent. Right. What did we need to buy at the camping shop?

Um, we need to get our sleeping bags.

The second thing to go in the memory box is a tent.

After all that hard work, it must be time to eat.

One thing is this.

The fire is really hot, so the best place to

hold your marshmallow is right at the end, like that.

You can hold it just over the top,

so the marshmallow doesn't touch the edge. I think that's done.

The third thing to go in the memory box is a toasted marshmallow.
