This is Kane. And this is his sister Kiera.

They are five years old and were born on the same day.

They like to jump on the trampoline to see who can jump the highest.

-MUMMY:

-DADDY:

-Wow. That was cool.

Today, Kane and Kiera are going to be doing something new

for the first time. But what will it be?

This is Kane and Kiera's memory box.

It helps them remember exciting things that have happened.

See if you can spot anything going in it.

-Hey, guys, we've got a big day coming up - Mammy and Daddy.

-What?

-Mammy and Daddy's going to get married.

-Wow, how exciting!

Mummy and Daddy are getting married.

-Are you going to help us? Yeah?

-Thanks, Kane.

-So do you want to be Mammy's flower girl?

-Yeah.

-Yeah.

-Do you know what flower girls do?

-Um...carry flowers.

And Kane can be a pageboy.

-I'm going to put gel on my hair.

-What are you going to wear? What would you like?

Kane and Kiera, you will have lots to do.

A wedding is where two people who love each other

decide to have a big celebration with family and friends

and agree to spend the rest of their lives together.

Kane is going to be a pageboy to help his dad, the groom.

Kiera is going to be a flower girl to help her mum, the bride.

As it's such a special celebration, everybody wears smart clothes.

Kiera has come to find an outfit for the wedding.

Hello. Have you come to look at dresses?

We've got lots of them. Shall we go and have a look

and see what we've got? Come on.

-Yeah.

-Because it's long.

There are so many dresses to choose from.

It will be hard to pick just one.

Do you know what these are? These are called pearls and they sparkle.

And it's got sparkly crystals on. Beautiful.

-Yeah.

-I'm Ian. My son and I are here for a wedding suit, if that's OK.

What colour suit do you want, Kane?

I've got...black, gold

-and cream.

-What do you think of that, Kane?

-No, thank you.

-No, thank you? You don't like it?

-You don't like it?

Not the black one!

What about this colour? Grey with the pink?

-Yes, please. That one.

-That one.

What about if we try these on and see how they fit

-and how it all looks together?

-Come on, Daddy will try his on also.

The first thing to go in Kane and Kiera's memory box

is a flower girl dress and a pageboy suit.

Kane, Kiera, Mummy and Daddy are going to practise

so that each person knows what they have to do on the wedding day.

-Hi, how are you doing?

-Here for your rehearsal?

-We are.

-And the little ones? Are you both excited?

-Yeah.

Kane, Kiera, yeah?

This is the room where the wedding happens.

Kane, on the day, if you bring the rings forward when I ask for them.

Good man. And then hand them over to me.

And I'll present them to your mummy and daddy there.

Good man.

And the best part of the day to finish things off, the kiss.

THEY LAUGH

Kane is going to help his dad to get to the ceremony on time

and show the guests to their seats.

Kiera helps her mum by leading the way down the aisle

and holding the flowers.

It's the big day, and everybody is excited.

Kane and Daddy are back at the house,

and Kiera and Mummy are getting ready at the wedding venue.

At weddings, the bride and groom don't see each other

until the wedding ceremony.

Put your head back and close your eyes.

Kiera even gets to wear some make-up.

Oh, she's fell asleep!

I'm going to put this glitter on. Put your head back.

What does it look like?

-So all you need to be done now is your hair.

-Thank you.

The wedding car is waiting for Kane and his dad

to take them to the wedding.

Right, we'll do your hair. You're looking smarter.

We'll put a bit of aftershave on.

Do you want some aftershave on? Yeah?

Put your head up.

Wow! Give us five.

-The car's here. Do you want to go?

-Yeah.

Oh, look, Kane, it's an old police car

to take you and Dad to the wedding.

Daddy, it's going to be bouncy.

-The seat is going to be bouncy.

-Is it?

-Yeah.

-Everybody ready?

-Yeah. Let's go.

SIREN RINGS

The second thing to go into the memory box

is the old police wedding car.

Look, here are Mummy and Daddy's friends and family.

Hi, Kane, you're the pageboy today. You're in charge of all of us.

Are you going to do a good job? Yeah?

-Are you going to keep an eye on all of us?

-Yeah.

-Five. Yeah!

Kiera and Mummy are nearly ready. It's time to get married.

Ladies and gentlemen, can I have your attention?

The bride will arrive shortly,

so if you'd like to go into the ceremony room,

and your groomsmen will show you where you are seated.

Everything is ready for the wedding, and the guests are sat in the hall.

Daddy is at the front of the room waiting for Mummy to come.

Kiera and Kane are outside,

waiting for the signal to lead Mummy down the aisle.

It's a very important job.

MUSIC PLAYS There goes the music!

Let's go, guys.

MUSIC: Here Comes The Bride

Kane and Kiera sit in the same seat as the rehearsal.

In comes the bride.

The most important part of the wedding are the vows.

This is where Mummy and Daddy make promises to always love

and care for each other.

Carly, do you promise to care for and support

through the problems and pleasures of life?

I do.

I do.

Now they have made their promises, they give each other a ring.

Every time they look at their hand,

they will be reminded of the love they share.

You are now husband and wife together.

Would you like to kiss him?

APPLAUSE

Kane and Kiera's parents are now married.

The third thing to go into the memory box are the wedding rings.

After the ceremony,

a wedding photographer takes photos of the family,

and everyone goes inside for the reception.

Now Kane and Kiera have made sure the wedding was a success,

they can have some fun.

Three, two, one, go!

There is a big wedding cake, which Kane and Kiera help cut.

What's this? Mummy and Daddy are dancing!

A massive round of applause. We need the pageboy and, of course,

the flower girl down onto the dance floor as well.

Everyone is having fun, dancing under the disco lights.

The fourth thing to go into the memory box is the disco light.

Today Kane and Kiera went to a wedding.
